I don't buy into that argument too much, front 7 also relies on guys to cover at the back. Jackson definitely has room to improve but he's been a safety for just 2 seasons, after playing WR in high school and CB in his first season in college. The only real knock on him for me is physicality but he'd have time to improve on that while learning from the master.

Mentioned before, I haven't had much time to watch as many players as I'd like. Will check him out, at least highlight reel before the clock starts.

Great instincts and nose for the ball and better hands than most WRs (he was one before Saban turned him into DB). Range to cover over the top and in the middle. Deadly returner. Improved a lot in physical part of the game / tackling. Lines up secondary. Team captain.

Make sure to also let them know that Humphrey had 2 catches in that game and scored one TD

Man, Skins took Allen and Anderson first two rounds.

I don't think they were after pure edge rusher. Last year they passed on Spence, this on Williams and Lawson (granted, he is injury suspect). Also, if they wanted more rounded LB, Anderson is superior player.

Pretty underwhelming pick. Feels like an admission we blew it with KC last year. Better pass rushers left on the board.
