Regardless,  I really can't see it happening at this point. Better play from Holtby might have won them 1 or even 2 games earlier in the series but now... Even if he did return to form his teammates simply can't be counted on put the puck in the net enough times to win 3 in a row.

 

What's so bad about Vancouver? 

I mean sadly, because they still have my hopes up, but they'll find a way to make a fool of that prediction. Vancouver just has the worst fans you can imagine, the 2 cup years rioting, the too expensive tickets when they arent even good, the on again off again fans.

Holtby needs to steal a few games.

Hmm could it be the san francsico "we've been good for 4 seasons only" giants. God I despise their fans, at least SF is a nice city. The worst playoffs was 2012 when the orioles lost in 5 to the yankees, and we lost in 5 to the tigers. For the record bill burr is the best pats fan by far.

Out of all the american teams, pittsburgh is easily my least favorite. I think the worst possible team to win a stanley cup would be vancouver hands down though. Sadly I still think they can take this series, if they ya know stop jerking around and holtby knows what the goalie position's job is.

I too think it was unintentional, Ovi's clip on crosbys head was more egregious. By the talk of some pens fans you'd swear it was a matt cooke cheap shot.

Thank god, really dumb penalty to take by daley and a bit of a softy by MAF. They need to take this momentum now and run with it. Pens are banged up even more so wash has a chance again. Just no more unnecessary choking.

Poor Holtby is having a terrible series with 6 goals allowed in 2 games. Grubauer didn't fare much better with 2 in less than entire period (don't know how many shots).

Yeah honestly man, the thought of back to back pens titles is making me sick. Hopefully nashville/edmonton/st louis stop them. I know pens have a good offense but braden needs to do better. Also pens are missing letang and murray so there's no excuse on the offense side of things. You guys should get rid of trotz honestly, if you have babcock, julien, laviolette, quinvelle, the sens coach or even mike yeo you would fair so much better. Hell even AV from the rangers would do better, trotz is lost in the post season. Two wasted presidents cups, unbelievable.

You're right about this being a must win game. If the Caps can't come back from this 3-1 deficit to win this match, they are all but done.

damn, 5-2 now. Holtby isn't saving a thing and MAF is a brick wall. Caps have outshot the pens in both games too. I don't see ottawa or NY stopping the pens either. At this point all we can hope for is somehow for caps to have a miracle comeback or for western conference team to beat them.
