  1. Juice needs 80 targets a year.
  2. I'm jealous of you. I would pay more in taxes for no snow lol.
  3. Yeah I live in Utah so I only know from the articles I have read. Sign me up for no snow. I think there have been at least 7 storms this year that have snowed at least a foot this year.
  4. Yes the Titans are very exciting to see especially since they won 7 or 8 games this last season and have 2 1st rounders.
  5. But Wallace wasn't the issue. The reason the offense was held back was because Trestman's playbook was a terrible combination for the personnel, running backs weren't doing enough to get a balanced workload during a game, and the team was relying on Steve Smith a 37 year old coming off an achilles injury and Perriman coming off of two torn ACL's. Your starting tight end didn't play for basically two full seasons. Flacco coming back healthy and Perriman coming back and getting a full offseason for the first time his entire career is already improvement. After that the team needs to fill the Steve Smith void. After that the team needs to upgrade the o-line and running back (unless Dixon steps up). Wallace is not the issue. The team should extend him to try to lower his cap an extra year so it isn't $7 million. But cutting him leaves another hole to fill that isn't necessary when he was one of the few bright spots on offense.
  6. This kid had two injuries sideline him TWO ENTIRE OFFSEASONS and he still did well in his first and only season playing. He had no time to develop chemistry with Flacco and no time to improve on route running which was his biggest weakness in college. Hopefully those freak injuries are over. If so he will definitely improve. When basically a rookie was 4 or 5 of the teams top 10 plays on NFL Network in a #3 role that means you have someone special. He needs to develop consistency. But one full offseason alone will have him improved.
  7. I would agree you keep Garrett because he is almost a sure thing and will be a huge gamechanger. What I see is so valuable is that 12th pick. Still enough for a team to trade up for 2 1st round picks to move up 10 spots. And like you said it will take time so hopefully they give Hue Jackson at least another 2 years to see what he can do. That last draft though was fantastic. They have solid running backs, great wide receivers, great o-line. Only question is the quarterback position.
  8. I would agree but Baltimore is known for its insane taxes. When Flacco was made the highest paid quarterback in the league, Drew Brees was actually making more after taxes. So the 1 million difference could be even more after that is accounted for.
  9. The Ravens don't need him to be the best receiver in the league. The Ravens need him to make big plays like he did last season. He is a solid #2 in this league. The Ravens need a tight end who doesn't fall whenever he catches the ball 2 yards from the line of scrimmage and need a veteran posession receiver. Wallace isn't the issue. Getting rid of him adds another issue.
  10. I wouldn't touch any of the quarterbacks in this draft. If a team was smart like the Browns they continue trading back like they did last draft. Trade back 10 spots or so and get another 1st round pick next season. No quarterback out of this class will impress just like the last class. You stockpile picks in future drafts and hope you can find playmakers at other positions in the mean time for when they do find that quarterback he will succeed. The Browns won't stay down for long. In my opinion they are closer than a lot of teams from being a playoff team. The Browns are getting a lot out of being down near the bottom of most drafts for the past few years. If they continue trading back they will continue finding talent to fill. I feel like teams try forcing being competitive.. For instance, last year the Vikings lost Adrian Peterson and Teddy Bridgewater really early on and they go on and trade for Bradford. They barely made the playoffs the year before but they felt they were in a win now when they should've just waited a year for them both to get healthy and go from there. Instead they traded a 1st round pick for Bradford and they missed the playoffs by a mile. The Browns need to continue trading back and stockpiling picks. They got a lot of solid talent last year they need to continue.
  11. Another year of Flacco throwing to mostly new faces... -Sigh- I get the team threw more than most other years and that Wallace tailed off near the end of the season but he put up more yards than Boldin ever did here and more than Torrey Smith ever did in a #2 role here. I think keeping him is the right thing to do. He had chemistry with Flacco right out of the gate. I'm okay with them bringing in a veteran wide receiver to replace Smith because that is necessary, but I do think a huge reason why Flacco has struggled is his carousel of wide receivers and offensive coordinators. Looking around the league most the strong passing attacks root from the same system, same quarterback, and same wide receivers for multiple years. I also think Wallace has 3 years left in the tank at least
  12. I also think he is being underutilized... He is a threat in the backfield for catches. I think the offense needs to incorporate some more motions to get the match ups the team wants. Motion Juice out wide or in the slot hes basically a tight end and he has proven to get open and do well after the catch. He needs more targets in my opinion. He was a probowler this last year and I think he can do a lot more. Baltimore can bring back full backs into the NFL if the team can get more creative offensively with the good one they have now.
  13. I still don't like the trade because Garrapolo has only seen limited action. Osweiler looked decent enough to get his huge contract and it blew up. Quarterbacks always look good in New England. Matt Cassel took their team to 11 wins and a playoff birth. I wouldn't touch any player from New England.
  14. While I agree they could get a cheaper option at fullback I also can see it going the other way because he has been a fantastic blocker and he has over 100 targets the last two seasons combined. He has made some critical first downs the last few seasons and a good check down option. I actually wish they would involve him more he is difficult to get down and solid hands.
  15. I don't like Ragland complimenting CJ Mosley though because Ragland is a more raw version of CJ coming out of college. He is good against the run and terrible in coverage. Right now Mosley is one of the best if not the best inside linebacker against the run. What the team needs is an athletic linebacker who works well in coverage.
  16. I actually see this one as more annoying recently than the Alabama one. Maybe it is just because I like more of the players coming out of Alabama this year lol
  17. But what I am getting at is stock for other players are rising and it is still early in the process. While it is highly unlikely anything can happen. All those teams you mentioned have more than one hole to fill.
  18. I agree with gtalk he has made big plays... There should've been two other touchdowns if he got his feet down would've been more points. He catches the hard ones and then drops some of the easy ones.... It is concentration drops which will likely just need to be worked out by more playing time.
  19. While I agree Foster may not drop to the Ravens that doesn't mean the Ravens don't potentially trade up. Plus who knows other players may drop him out of the top 10. There are a lot of good players that are rising up draft boards right now.
  20. Not when Reubon Foster is mocked to us.... He will be the best linebacker in the league in 3 years. There is no way he is a bust. Looks like the best inside linebacker to come out since Keuchly.
  21. NFL all-rookie team is just like the pro bowl. More about the bigger names that made an impact compared to actual production. Stanley was only snubbed because of his injury. Last half of the season when he got healthy he was the #1 tackle rated in the league from PFF. Correa is behind two all pros in Mosley and Orr so there is no way he is even touching the field unless he was playing at a superstar level. Kaufusi was because of injury which you can't predict.
  22. Yeah you're right.... Myles Jack who had a whole 24 tackles his rookie season... Noah Spence who only had 5.5 sacks while Matt Judon the team's 5th round selection got 4 sacks almost as many behind Suggs and Dumervil most the season.... And Sterling Shephard a #3 receiver. Think of the selections the team got while trading back... Kamalei Correa may not be an immediate impact but look at the 4th rounders the team got in return that DID have a huge impact. They wouldn't be in Baltimore if not for the trades.
  23. To be honest... I think Foreman goes in the 2nd if not higher. I've seen some mocks with him easily in the 2nd round. If anything I think Juju falls to the 3rd or 4th and Foreman goes higher. I really haven't been impressed with Juju's film and that is coming from someone who loved Keenan Allen's tape and Allen fell to the 3rd round. I don't mind the Peppers pick though in the first.
  24. I really don't think Darian Stewart is that good. The reason I think people think he is good is because the Broncos have the best trio of cornerbacks by far in the league. You don't part away with a first round pick. The talent is there, he just is not catching onto football. You wait out his rookie contract to see if anything catches on. If people got rid of 1st round talent in the first 2 or 3 years of their contract a lot of teams would be making huge mistakes. A lot of the time it takes that long for them to make an impact. If anything the team has done a great job of realizing who to keep and who not to. Ed Reed is a prime example. Paul Kruger fell off the face of the Earth afterwards. Several examples. The team cannot pay everybody. The team let Darian Stewart go and the team now has Eric Weddle. Darian Stewart is getting paid more than Eric Weddle. Eric Weddle was the #1 ranked safety last season in all the NFL without the best trio of cornerbacks in the league. Talent evaluation won right there in my eyes.
  25. Yep look at the division and the Ravens have had the worst receiver core for awhile. Bengals have AJ Green and Steelers have Antonio Brown... Both are top 5 if not top 3 receivers in the game behind Julio. Even the Browns have some of the young talent at WR that has shown promise. They have Josh Gordon (when he isn't suspended), Terrell Pryor (unless he doesn't resign), and even Corey Coleman a promising rookie. The Ravens have had to use aging veterans to fill that role and while I don't want to take anything away from Mason, Boldin, or Smith Sr., but they are not playing at the level of AJ Green or Antonio Brown at the point in their career. Hopefully Perriman pans out. The few times he touched the ball he was electric and put some fire into the offense. This is without two full offseasons and he still got 500 yards and a few touchdowns in a #3 role. I am hoping he continues to improve.
