  1. At least for Osemele, the Raiders have the luxury of putting him out at tackle if it came to that. I don't think Zeitler can do that.
  2. Okay... Let's not get carried away here. I'm on record saying I like the Browns roster more than most people and think in a few drafts they can be a solid team. But I still think that is a solid 2 or 3 good drafts away from them being a playoff team and that is if the stars aligned.
  3. Ignoring the 40 yard dash time, look at film his last two years in Arizona. One of the most underrated players in the league. Theres athletes that make themselves good football players, then there are just good football players. Jefferson is the latter.
  4. I would agree.. Weddle isn't slow. Plus he makes up for some speed with is instincts and ball IQ. Weddle was the steal of the offseason last season and I bet he has another at least 2 productive years being a top 10 safety if not better.
  5. There is a difference between substance abuse and domestic violence. Especially when Gordon from what I heard got suspended because of probation from having alcohol a week after the season ended. I don't understand why alcohol counts as a PED when on probation.
  6. Weddle misread the play and admitted to it. What other big plays did he ever give up? He dropped back more than people think he did last season. Also even though Weddle misread the play, Elam still should take most the blame. He slipped 1 on 1 and if he was there that play wouldn't of been a touchdown.
  7. Proves Ravens want their defense to be intimidating again. Also teams aren't designating SS and FS as much as they used to today. Both can do both pretty well. Which leaves offenses to question which one is going where.
  8. I haven't even read the article on here. I was just talking to a buddy and got the notification that said 'the Ravens to cut safety Lardarius Webb'. If the Ravens keep him and lower his cap I would be ecstatic. If it's not true I will be one of the happiest people here.
  9. I no longer have the notification but yesterday I read that multiple sources via NFL.com said that Lardarius Webb would be cut. When I read it I was sad because I really liked what Webb did this last season. After hearing the Jefferson signing I envisioned 3 safety sets to allow the defense to shift like the Saints did a few years ago.
  10. Nope I do not mean Dumervil. Both were released as of yesterday. I will try to find the notification on my phone and send it here.
  11. It was reported yesterday by NFL.com I believe. Got the notification on my phone. Probably won't go through until Jefferson signing.
  12. Sad to see Webb let go, but Jefferson is a FANTASTIC signing. Webb played at a high level but the Ravens field 2 top 5 safeties now. With Jimmy Smith healthy it challenges the Seahawks and Patriots for best secondary. If the Ravens get Claiborne look out.
  13. I like Wright but the Ravens already have some speed guys in Wallace, Perriman, and Moore. I am also worried for our o-line but at the same time, if you have no receivers to throw to that get open on a consistent basis an o-line doesn't matter. It goes both ways... I feel more comfortable starting a rookie guard compared to a rookie wideout.
  14. I like the signing as long as he is healthy. I bet he was signed cheap as well. One thing that scares me is the Ravens never got the chance to sign a veteran posession wideout. I was pulling for Britt after the Garcon and Marshall signings, but he is going to be a Brown. Makes me wonder if Josh Gordon would be a cheap option to try out when reinstated. He is a moron but he isn't a thug as far as I know. He got caught for weed and got suspended, then during his probation he got caught with alcohol. Thats what my buddy said at least... If you could keep him clean even though hes been out of football for awhile, he might be an okay pick up.
  15. SAME lol
  16. Theres having a difference of opinion.... Theres also hitting your face on your keyboard 5 times then hitting submit reply. I feel like he was the latter.
  17. Best post I have read in awhile
  18. At least April 1st you can say the forums will be open then
  19. You are literally the most beautiful being on this Earth.
  20. I would man I really like our conversations.
  21. I disagree. It reminds me of Tyrann Matthieu's situation in college. A lot didn't believe he was big enough to play the position. Sometimes talent and ball skills make you change the view of the position the next 5 years. I think Peppers could be that guy to come in and blow off everyones' hats. I think he could be the pioneer for his position.
  22. Well said, from what I have heard from media, it sounds like a lot of people around thought the medical staff worker was way out of line. I haven't heard why this medical worker was out of line, but Foster reacted to it and in the end they asked him to leave the combine. I think it would be foolish not to take him at #16 if he falls that far.
  23. If Foster falls to the Ravens at 16 Ozzie better not trip running up that card. Foster on this team would make this team the best defense in the league like it was most the season last season. He is so so so so good.
  24. I would agree. Kupp doesn't win with speed. But he has great route running, he knows how to get the ball int he air, and knows where zones are. That is why he was the most productive WR to come out of college. You can look at the 4.6 40 and put more weight on it if you wanted, but that was never his playstyle. I would put my money over most receivers in this draft. If we somehow got him in the 2nd round I would be ecstatic. Unfortunately I don't think he lasts that long.
  25. While he wouldn't be my first choice by far, I wouldn't bat an eye if that was the pick.
