  1. The team I think has the safeties on the back end to stop that now. Remember back then there was no Weddle, no Jefferson, and no Webb.
  2. Will we ever know why he does the things he does? I was so confused and I literally started crying it was so funny.
  3. You mean the fact the guy hasn't had an offseason to put under his belt? He was injured through both offseasons and is raw as hell. And coming off two serious injures. Also Torrey Smith was the #2 in the offense, not #3.
  4. DUDE I love Voch lol his Zay Jones tape gives me every time when he high fives his teammate as he is crossing the field. He replayed it for a solid 2 and a half minutes talking about how cool and swag it was. I was DYING.
  5. Did you just really compare two of Torrey's seasons to one of Perriman's? Come on now we all know he was injured his rookie season. This next season is basically his second season.
  6. Lmaooooooooooo oh I am so tired. I'm halfway studying for finals and more than anything distracted on here. As you can easily tell.
  7. I don't like this and this is why. The defense carried the offense last year in the first 12 games and nobody can deny that. Looking at the Giants game that was an easy win if the team didn't give Odell 2 gimmes and a bunch of big plays in the 2nd half when Jimmy Smith went down. The defense then did not have the talent to stop the run or defend the pass when Jimmy Smith went down. The Ravens should have won that Giants game, the Pats game would have been a different story, and the two division games at the end of the season would have played out different. The Ravens have shut down Antonio Brown in almost every game Jimmy Smith is healthy. So I do think the way this team is going to get back to the playoffs, and eventually another potential super bowl, is leaning on those key defensive pieces.
  8. Oh perfect. Oh okay so it already has passed. Then they need to start signing some guys right away.
  9. Everyone just come over to boardhost with the rest of us. It may not look as flashy as it does here, but we will make it work.
  10. He was always fantastic last season... Before he went down he was #2 in yards allowed and #1 in completions allowed. Jimmy Smith is a top 3 cornerback in this league. I really don't understand why people hype Tavon Young and put Jimmy Smith down. Jimmy Smith held Odell to 1 catch that ended up being a fumble in one half of play. When he went out, Tavon Young gave up 220 yards and 2 touchdowns and for some reason people still praise him. I like Tavon and he is a solid #2 or #3 cornerback, but Jimmy Smith singlehandedly is our defense. His injury is the reason we lost 3-4 games we should've easily won.
  11. I think we have to wait till after June to sign Boldin and Mangold if the Ravens are actually interested in them so they do not hurt the compensatory formula. At least that is what I think....
  12. That 6.7 million could probably get us two solid veterans. I like it.
  13. And with their 6th round pick in the NFL draft, the Baltimore Ravens select... Keeping their forums open.
  14. Dang fans are grading the front office even worse than the media. Most media outlets have the Ravens as one of their top 8 or so drafts. I would say nobody saw Marlon Humphrey getting drafted. But just think.. When Ozzie Newsome had all Alabama prospects on the board at the same time and he picks Marlon Humphrey when he is less of a need than all the other ones, that proves that he knows something we do not. I went back and rewatched Voch Lombardi's tape on him and I remember why I liked him so much when I first watched him. He will be a great press corner and he may get beat a couple times, but he is coming to a team with 3 top 15 safeties and one of the best inside linebackers in the business I think he will actually play extremely well next season. Maybe not a starter right away but we will see. Bowser pick is my favorite of the draft. He will be a fantastic SAM linebacker. Even though he is raw, he has fantastic coverage skills as a linebacker, actually rated near the top in FBS, as well as elite athleticism to get to the ball. I think he will be an early impact player. Wormley made me scratch my head but the talent is there. A hard worker and a person we need at DE to help fill the void of Lawerence Guy. Tim Williams was a shocker because he was still there. He has that amazing quickness and get off off the edge and I think he will have a pretty good impact. I like the two offensive linemen picks day 3. Elumeanor will likely be awhile before he hits the field but he has all the tools and is new to football. I would look at next year as a possibility of him playing at guard (probably longer to play tackle if they wanted him there). I love the Siragusa pick I think he may be the team's LG right out of the gate. Then you have the Chuck Clark who was drafed primarily for special teams. I would grade this draft a B+ I don't think the Ravens could have been much luckier than they were Friday.
  15. The NFL is definitely sleeping on the Ravens defense. It was #1 last season first 12 games of the season until Jimmywent down, and they just added a ton of talent via free agency and draft.
