  1. Agree that Bisciotti has given an edict to forego questionable character players which one really can't argue against. It's his team, his rules. Ravens can win either way, with so-called choir boys or the playground bullies. On the field either can exhibit the nastiness to be intimidating.

On a different note how many of these guys have a legit shot to make final 53? Obviously, Stanley does. KO is gone, Monroe might be gone and Hurst is probably gone as well which means Lewis makes it.

Canty, Upshaw, and D Smith gone. Welcome, Correa, Kaufusi, and probably. None of them specifically replace D Smith but just looking at roster spots here. However this still leaves the coverage LB question unanswered. Wish Mosley had decent coverage skills which would solve the problem. Whose spot does Henry take? KLM, Guy, Davis?

Young and Canady could take anyone's spot not named Jimmy or Shareece at CB. For sure wide open competition at CB. Competition narrows if Oziie signs a cut or FA veteran CB.

Dixon? Does he have a chance to be one of the 3, 4 RBs? I hope so. Forsett, I think, is guaranteed but then it's Allen, LT, West, and what if Richardson realizes his potential?

At WR, already SSS, Aiken, M Wallace, Perriman. Add Moore and Reynolds to the Browns, Campanaro, Butler, Givens, Mathews and Clay that's some competition for 2, 3 spots.

I think Reynolds makes the team because he's also a return specialist which the coaches will love. Givens isn't coming back this year and Campanaro is too injury prone so i think Moore makes the team as well.

Dixon Will probably make the team; i see LT, and West as the odd men out in that group. LT's injury concerns and fumbles even though he did show flashes when he was on the field.

Dead on with the rest of the picks though, going to be an exciting offseason to see how they progress.

Again, the last solid draft we had was in 2008. And even that year we took Ed Dickson in the 3rd with Gronk still on the board ! It is seriously time for Steve to revamp that FO.. Hand the keys to DeCosta and let him revamp that scouting team..

Then how many other owners need to revamp the scouting team and hand the keys over to a new GM. Because I'm sure everyone who drafted and didn't take Gronk feels the same way.

I don't care how the other owners feel... Im a RAVENS fan... And I'm ready for us to start drafting better than the Bengals, Pats, and Steelers... And we clearly do not

The Steelers received one of the worst first round grades of any team this year, the Ravens got a B+ so i don't know what your talking about. Also the Pats are never aggressive they always trade back or sit just like the Ravens and when was the last time the Bengals traded up for a pick. Just saying bad examples.

We already have Brandon Williams, Timmy Jernigan, Lawrence Guy, Carl Davis, Brent Urban, and Kapron Lewis-Moore. I didn't hear anybody say that this guy was a premier pass rusher. I am not saying Buckner is a terrible player, but we had more of a need at LT and I'd rather take a chance on a franchise LT than a guy who MIGHT generate rush from the interior DL.

I agree why does everyone want someone at a position where the Ravens are already stacked. Mike Mayock had Stanley ranked higher than Tunsil anyway.

One impact player in Brandon Williams, a solid player in Jernigan, and depth/rotational type players with the rest. We need help on D with our remaining picks. Have to find someone who creates havoc and gets after the QB.

    Thats not Buckner

Once Bosa was off the board and no trade back was in the works, it had to be Stanley. Much safer pick than Tunsil. Now the question is will the Ravens release Monroe in June to save big bucks? Can they switch him to guard?

I think that Monroe is gone.... we can use that 5 million to bring in help at CB and we addressed two positions in one swift move! Love it!

There are no impact CB's left anywhere this season. Monroe at LT, Stanley at RT, and, Wagner at LG this season.

that would be nice if Monroe could stay on the field, and you don't draft someone 6th overall to play right tackle. He'll start at left just because you can't trust Monroe.

Yeah, I don't get it. Buckner is a 5-tech DE, which in the Ravens scheme is a run-stopping position. The rush is designed to come from the Leo (Suggs), 3-tech (Jernigan), and Sam (Doom) positions. In fact, for those clamoring that the Ravens needed an "impact play maker" at 6, I'd argue that Buckner's position is the least impactful one in the front 7.

Drafting him that high would be like taking an OG with the 6th pick. Considering how some feel about taking an LT with the pick I find this "we should've taken Buckner" talk quite silly.

Why do you want Buckner??? We already have Brandon Williams, and Timmy Jernigan at the same position. Defensive line is one of the strongest positions on the team, Buckner would have been a waste of a pick, at least we need a LT since Monroe Is unreliable.

  7. This team believes in best player available and they did a great job here when Jernigan was projected 1st round. It isn't about one year it is about several years. It isn't about winning one year it is about several. With this pick it makes it easier on everyone on the defense because there will be a fresh rotation and Ngata is getting way up there in age. Teams that pick players they need this season are the ones that never win championships. This is how Baltimore got to the play offs 5 years in a row and that is how they are going to do it again. 3 AFC championships 1 Superbowl since 2008. Go Ravens.

When the team has as much depth on the defensive line as the Ravens do you should take that into consideration all I'm saying.

  8. I don't get it. We just drafted Brandon Williams, are one of the two going to play DE?

That's what makes me mad about this pick. Its like they're giving up on him already after only one year of play. I know Cody's contract is up soon as is Tyson's but this is a position that could have waited until next year.

  9. Timmy Jernigan? I get BPA and everything but when your team has needs as big as the ravens do, back to back BPA picks im not understing the logic but what do i know im just a fan

I agree he might be a very good player, but we have so much depth on the defensive line its unreal. I really like the Mosley pick in the first round but we should have gone with M. Moses for this pick and solidified the offensive line.

  10. With our lack of attention (atleast from what I see, no one knows what the Wizard is up to) to FS in free agency Im starting to think thats gonna be our target in round 1 of the draft. Either Clinton Dix or Pryor WILL be there at 17, you're splittin hairs with those two so really wouldnt mind either of them

There is no way we draft a safety in the first round again. It just won't happen. They're either going for a skill position(WR, TE) or a RT possibly LB but there is simply no way we draft the same position as last year. We will have a veteran FS by the draft.

  11. If we get Steve Smith you can pretty much gurantee we turn right around and do all it takes to get Alex Mack out of Cleveland

you would hope so but I'm not sure. Alex Mack is a great center and would be such a huge sign for the Ravens. I'm just not sure we have the money to do so. He will probably cost a lot since we have to out bid the browns who have the second most cap space.
