that's crazy - that would be the 3rd straight year the 49ers draft an interior defensive lineman in the first round... i know mike mayock calls him an edge rusher but solomon thomas is definitely an interior defender

They are switching to a 4-3 defense, I've seen Thomas mocked to the 49ers for this very reason. Buckner would kick inside to DT, Armstead most likely stays at DE and drafting Thomas or Garrett(if Browns pass on him) gives them 2 bookend DEs for their new defense.

    Will be a bust*

Possibily in Cleveland but if they pass on him like I do think they will do and screw it up by taking Trubisky then either Carolina trades all their picks for him to the 49ers or 49ers take him up right and he'll become a star. Though I could see other teams needing a pass rush to try to get to 2 if Garrett is there.

  3. This is a major news out of the NFL office. After being given control of centralized replay in the new rule change, Dean Blandino has decided to up and leave the NFL to go work for FOX. Apparently the news came to a surprise to most at the league office, as Ed Werder of ESPN quoted someone as saying the move was "shocking" and nobody in NY even knew he was even considering leaving. Werder also said one of the reasons centralized replay was passed was because owners were confident in Blandino to do the job well and if the rule would have passed if they knew he was leaving.

Speaking of which, Braun Strowman is over with me now. That's some grown-man strength right there!

The Pop he got for when they are putting him in the ambulance and you just hear.... "I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU" and the fans went crazy that he was going to keep beating up Roman.

The NFL regular season schedule will be released next Thursday, according to Lions team president Rod Wood.

Good, been looking at traveling to Nashville for the game against the Titans and would like to know the date soon so I can book my hotel. Since this is related to the schedule, anyone been to Ravens/Titans games in Tennessee recently? I saw Titans tickets go on sale in May, if anyone else was planning on going to Nashville and supporting the Ravens on the road. How is the stadium atmosphere and the fans?

+Forget about a draft, we have a Superstar Shakeup tonight on RAW and tomorrow night on SD Live! I just hope AJ Styles doesn't end up on RAW with their terrible booking to only be fed to Super Roman.

In fact I prefer a trade of Reigns for AJ where Roman can get away from the RAW booking and be better booked on SD

  7. May I say this suggestion is..... Delightful. It only makes sense on the Day of Star Wars that we have free reign to say and do whatever we want. This way the Forum of the Ravens will be DELETED gracefully.

  8. In the NFL's attempt to catch up to streaming, they had Twitter stream TNF games last season. This year, Amazon Prime will stream Thursday Night Football for a one year contract. Will say, the NFL is moving in the right direction though as they have to do something to keep up as streaming becomes more popular. Maybe work something out with Direct TV where Amazon or some other streaming service can stream Sunday Ticket or a deal with Sony or Microsoft to stream it on Xbox Live or PSN.

  9. "If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities."

Go see the freakout on FB about the Jernigan trade and you'll realize how much more stupid shutting down this message board is. This is about as close as engaging in the ways they want us to as they will get. By closing the boards, your shutting down THE major social community you have. Then the draft will come and it will be worse because instead of engaging in football talk about the draft picks, it will be random comments one after the other without any football talk at all. While having all the social media is great, shutting down one form of a community(message board) and having one less way to communicate with fans is terrible. You should be looking at ADDING more ways to communicate and interact with fans, not removing ways.

Hate it.  It's his contract year.  Watch him ball out for Philly.  All for a swap of picks

Yeah then we'll complain on the New board about how we lost him and didn't resign him. He wouldn't have gotten us a high comp pick like Wagner will.

I'm happy we got something for him that benefits us now opposed to 2 years from now.

  11. So Jerry Jones is trying to drum up trade interest for Romo by announcing that teams are free to talk to him. Teams can work him out, do whatever but teams aren't budging.

Seems to me the QB needy teams know they will release him after no trade interest so why bother wasting draft picks acquiring him.
