  1. its funny i read the recap(spoilers) last week but kind of forgot it all lol.Glad to see Melina back tho she's very easy on the eyes, but did she steal Mickie James' wardrobe?

Yeah but the thing about spoilers, is that even though it may look dull on paper or a website the show may be better on TV than what the Spoilers indicate. I was wondering that too FF, and btw it's a shame WWE let Mickie go they had no good divas on the roster with the exception of Beth and Melina.

I hope WWE brings Mickie James back and pulls a wool over TNA and brings in Awesome Kong, now that would be a good move for the WWE!

  2. Edge vs Barrett might be a good match

It was a good match for the time it had, could have been better if given more time but it was good for what it needed to do, build for Summer Slam. Though I will say, matches now just end all of a sudden without a bell ringing? Ok Vince, if anything Edge should have been counted out and Barrett wins by count out.

    Edge Quit!!!!!!!

Cena vs Jericho, loser Quits Team WWE!!!!

Down to 6... and why is it I get the feeling Khali will join Nexus?

  3. Oh so in a way Tajiri and Funaki were ambassadors when WWE went to Korea, Japan, China

Yep pretty much. Franchise was right Rey was just playing his cards right and even though fans were upset that Rey wouldn't put him over, and I was too because Dolph was going to be a star and could have kicked off the youth movement sooner if Dolph was allowed to go over on Rey. I still don't like Rey for the fact he injures Taker, gets his spot and wins the WHC, Rey was AWARDED for injuring Undertaker.

  4. Drew McIntyre Talks About Being Vince McMahon’s “Chosen One”

    http://rajah.com/base/node/19869

Hmmm I still think Drew should have on the Smackdown MITB with this push he is getting. Its a shame, I mean they should have kept the IC belt on him a little longer. I hope McIntyre has a match at Summerslam. Maybe triple threat match, Kofi vs. Ziggler vs McIntyre. I mean Summerslam needs to get beefed upp, so a triple threat match wouldn't be a bad way to start the summerslam PPV off.

Well maybe... I mean I'm not going to spoil anything but Ziggler faces Kingston for the IC Title this Friday on SD and judging from the spoilers it seems like they are going for a Kofi/Ziggler feud. Though I'm glad Ziggler is getting a push again, if that midget botcher Rey Mysterio would have been willing to put Ziggler over a few years back, Ziggler would be in a much better spot right now, maybe he would have walked away with MITB at WM or at MITB instead of Swagger and Kane. I blame Rey for stalling Dolph's career. As much as Drew needs a push, I'm glad Ziggler is getting one first, but I wish they toss Vickie Guerrero she's useless, she is not with Edge anymore so she is useless and why does Teddy not do anything and stop her from changing matches. Ziggler was fine on his own when Vickie was with Edge, and because of Rey Dolph lost credibility and has been stuck in mid-card, and now Vickie is there to help get him over which he don't need, he was already getting over by himself.

  5. I am. His entrance used to be scary as <crap> bro. It'd go all dark and only dark red lights would surround the arena, now its...just dumb and un-appealing to watch.

I recently have become a big fan of Cody Rhodes. This "Dashing" Cody Rhodes gimmick could really work for him.

Yeah Kane's entrance isn't what it used to be but all well. Cody Rhodes is alright, I'm surprised that right now he is actually doing better than his Legacy counter part Ted Dibiase. It's a good gimmick that allows him to be himself unlike Ted who has his father's gimmick.

Does anyone think that Vickie Guerrero is useless right now? I mean granted she is suppose to help Dolph get over but Dolph doesn't need her, I don't know why she is involved with Dolph and still employed. I mean especially when she makes matches and changes thing right on the dime when last I checked Teddy is the GM, and even if she is the official consultant, wouldn't she have to consult with Teddy before making matches and changing things. I'm really waiting for the day Teddy steps in and stops Vickie from changing things and making matches. It was great when she was with Edge, it worked but now, she's useless with Dolph.

  6. Randy Savage On Good Terms with WWE? “I do not know any more than most fans about WWE’s updated relationship with Randy Savage or what the future holds for WWE/Savage, if any thing. It seems that a marketing arrangement has or is being established and one could always speculate that could eventually morph into more. Yes, Randy Savage is deserving of the WWE HOF and perhaps one day he will be inducted which would be a great moment for his many, loyal fans. Until then, let’s just sit back, be patient and wait.”

this is from Jim Ross' blog

I really hope this is true because Savage deserves to be in the HOF,I have waited years for this and after seeing alot less deserving names go in hopefully this is the year or soon.I was a Savage fan growing up not Hogan

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHH YEEEEEAAAHHHHH!

Well let's see if this clarifies it for you. http://www.sescoops.com/wrestling-news/wwe-news/savage-promotes-action-figure-three-wwe-stars-join-twitter/

As reported earlier, Mattel announced yesterday during San Diego Comic-Con International that Randy Savage had been signed by the company to take part in their “WWE Defining Moments” action figure line. Video has since surfaced of Savage cutting a classic “Macho Man” promo hyping the acting figure, which can be viewed here (starting at the 2:00 mark). He said Mattel is making more figures of himself from different eras of his career and vowed “2011 will be the Macho Man’s year.”

The Video is on the page, and amazingly the little promo Randy cuts on his action figure is much better than any promos we have seen recently on RAW/SD.

  7. read the recaps for next weeks Raw also,.......not really looking all that good going into Summerslam

I will say Raw next week is somewhat better than last night, and they do have some momentum going with Team Cena falling apart and Khali maybe joining Nexus, so next week isn't all that bad but certainly is better than last night.

  8. I didn't catch SmackDown (didn't really care to), but I watched Kane's promo from last week...mannnn, that was probably the best promo of his career. Sure, that's not saying much for a guy who didn't do much talking with his gimmick, but it was simply captivating. The intensity had me sold and showed me that Kane has some acting chops if he really was given a chance.

Now that he's champ, he'll have to prove that he's not a fluke on the mic.

Kane has had decent mic skills just Vince has never given him a chance to show it until now.

Do you guys see them doing an angle where Bret Hart gets injured and is replaced by Bourne or some other superstar?

    0

  9. I know we have a few months ahead of us, but Who do you guys think will win the Royal Rumble this year?

I have a few superstars who in my mind are legit contenders to win the Rumble.

Kofi Kingston - He is over with the crowd, great ring skills, could be better on the mic, I think he would make a good champion, I don't know if he has the ability ot headline Wrestlemania though.

Sheamus - If he isn't champion by this time, maybe WWE allows him to win the rumble. Last year we had a face win the rumble, so perhaps a heel wins it this year. That's what the pattern for recent RR winners has been. Cena(face) then Orton(heel) then Edge(face). Then again most faces win the Royal Rumble.

The Miz - He won the MiTB, so I need to see how he will be built and see if he can handle the main event status, if he can then he could win the rumble. Miz could fail to cash the MiTB and not win and then win the royal rumble.

Wade Barrett - Even after this whole NeXuS thing is done, he will still be a main eventer, maybe WWE will let him win the rumble, but question is can Barret at the early stage of his career, Can he headline at Wrestle Mania? So maybe another year or two, but knowing WWE they may just give Barrett a huge push.

Y2J - Now I know he is getting older each year, but Y2J has a nice list of accomplishments, but one thing he doesn't have is a Royal Rumble win. We know Jericho can headline Wrestlemania, plus his contract is ending soon, maybe they bribe him in staying with WWE by telling him he will win the rumble. the WWE did it with Mysterio when he wanted a break, so I wouldn't put it past WWE to do the same with Jericho.

This is tough to say in July because it is so hard to predict who is going to get a push and who won't.

Barrett is too young, give it 2 years, let him hold the US Title, tag team titles first before you give him a major title. Sheamus... maybe I mean it seems Vince is bent on making us believe Sheamus is a major threat and a credible champion. Kofi, his best chance to get a push was when he was feuding with Orton, and after that WWE dropped him back to Mid Card. The Miz, I'll say yes if he loses MITB which shouldn't happen, I think the Miz should be built up like Edge was the first time he won it. Jericho I can see winning given your scenario on keeping him happy by telling him he'll win the Royal Rumble.

My other choices to win the Rumble would be:

    - Christian: Maybe finally Vince gives him a major push, certainly MITB was his best chance, but they went with Kane instead. Who he faces who knows, there is Edge because of the history.

    - John Morrison: The Miz got his push at MITB and just maybe Morrison gets his push in the form of a Royal Rumble victory. This certainly would be a break in history where both members of a tag team went on to stardom in the WWE.

    - Ted Dibiase/Cody Rhodes: This may be a long shot but I have a feeling that Ted or Cody could be guys come January that could win the Rumble.

    - Triple H: Ok yeah he doesn't need the RR victory, but hey they could give it to him and have him face Orton, but this time it would be Heel Triple H vs Face Orton. Maybe Undertaker is WHC and ten years later from when Trips lost to Taker at WM 17, Trips decides to pursue the Undertaker and get the WHC, and do something Shawn couldn't do(he can say that to get the heel heat) that's end the streak.

    - CM Punk: Let's not forget our Straight Edge Savior here, Punk had an impressive showing last year until Triple H entered the ring. CM Punk's push has stalled ever since forming the SES, and it seemed that Vince never did try to make the SES a great heel group. I felt the ball was dropped on the SES when they refused to have Mysterio lose and join the SES. A Rumble win and main eventing WM 27 would be a step toward giving the SES a push, and if Luke Gallows/Mercury form a tag team to get the tag titles and they let Serena wrestle for the Women's Championship.

  10. read it thri sescoops.com but then again Vince has thrown stuff out there to throw these types of sites off,i like that approach because surprises are fun

Yeah I just wonder how much Vince exaggerated on Cena's injury in 2007, I mean it was put out there that he would be gone past Wrestlemania 24, and he came back to win the Rumble. So maybe this is another thing to mess with the spoiler sites, so that if he does return at SS and joins Nexus it won't be expected and it would be more shocking since it was already out there that he would be gone until December.

The Star Ship Pain from Monday's Raw was waaay off the mark. It looked like it'd hurt Morrison more so than his opponent. So yeah, I'd agree he needs to work on the placement some more, it's very inconsistent.

Yeah it was, I like Morrison, and I think the SSP is a great move but it's just he can't pull it off right. I'm surprised nobody in the back has told him to move his opponent out further so it looks like he does more damage to his opponent. There are times it does connect right but just others it's way off.

  11. I hope we see a Miz vs. Bourne at SS for U.S. title. R-truth will be in the 7-on-7 match, so eh cnat feud with Miz.

I think Miz should be built just around the MiTB, not U.S. title. Bourne is the only superstar who I see who deserves the title the most due to Bourne recent push.

Yeah I think Bourne would be a great candidate to win the US Championship from The Miz allowing him to concentrate and be built around MITB like you said. Plus if they weren't going to use Bourne in the 7 on 7 deal with Nexus(which Bourne should have been in over Truth) might as well continue his push and give him a title, as long as Bourne can actually defend the title and bring credibility back to that title.

Who here thinks John Morrison needs to move his opponents further away from the turn back to effectively make the Star Ship Pain actually look like it does damage. Every week I see him do that move and he misses like crazy and barely does any damage and we are believed that a move like that would finish someone off for a 3 count when it does no pain. I like the move, and it does look like it could do damage if Morrison actually learns moving his opponent further from the turn buckle can do more damage.

  12. The best thing WWE should do is resign Bryan and have him return to join the NexUs making the odd shift. 8-7.

That's what I was thinking, and maybe since Bryan felt remorse about what happened Bryan could side with Team Cena at first but turn on Cena and re-join Nexus saying how he knew that if he could get buddy buddy with Cena since he is the face of the company management would bring him back in, and go on one of those wonderful rants about the management again. That's the one thing I miss other than Bryan himself is the promos he would cut on the Management, those were awesome!

I loved the Poor Man's JR comment he made to Michael Cole, that was great especially when he Shoved Cole on his butt, I gotta say when Bryan told Cole he was a poor mans replacement for JR, that couldn't have been any further from the truth!

  13. Triple H is out until late December with possibly a late October return depending on the quickness of his healing. But it looks like late December is more on key.If they plan on him being the front of Nexus this is going to be a loooooong Angle.

really? where you read that at? This sucks, I was thinking that even with him injured he could do enough to where he could do a run in at Summer Slam while the ref is down, hit Team Cena with a sledge hammer, hit Cena with a pedigree and get Barrett to pin him for the win but I guess if he is out that long a Cena heel turn is likely to happen. I was thinking that Trips wouldn't even have to wrestle, Trips could just do Promos with Nexus and every time Cena or someone wants to face Triple H, with him being the leader he could say, if you want to face me, you have to go through Nexus to get to me, to keep him out of action but involved in the storyline until he is ready to wrestle again.

  14. I hink Husky Harris is son of the IRS guy, but idk if that guy is a HoF.

I am so glad Joe is safe, not that I thought he was going home next week anyway. I like that Joe has Kofi has a pro. Idk if Joe would make a better heel or face, but if he wins, he should go to SD. RAW got Wade Barrett and SD needs some new guys to work with. So it'd only make it fair for SD to get the NXT S2 Winner.

Yeah IRS isn't in the hall of fame I don't think but Joe would be great for SD especially since Cody is his pro right now and Cody is on SD, and Raw would be too stacked, like you said Barrett and Nexus are on Raw, The Miz has a title shot, Sheamus, Orton, Cena are all for the title so that leaves SD as being the better show for him to go to. I just hope they don't repeat the Nexus angle with the Season 2 rookies, that would be dumb, if they repeat the Nexus angle that would be just as dumb as WCW when they kept bringing back the NWO.

  15. Guess Cannon wasn't so Lucky tonight

Nope, and The Miz continues to be awesome. I just tweeted that I was watching NXT and said that if there ever was a Divas NXT Trish Stratus should be a Pro, or maybe the only Pro, I'm sure she could weed out the girls who can't wrestle compared to those who can.

  16. I ordered my NeXus armband and just got it yesterday. Im going to get the shirt next. Im going to the SD in Bmore, so you know I wanna be sporting NexuS gear at SD! :P

So now your getting your Nexus stuff... this could be like how it was with WCW where fans would either wear NWO shirts and gear or you didn't. It wouldn't surprise me to see fans wearing Nexus gear. Yeah I want to start getting some WWE Gear myself, I mean I have 2 t-shirts, Orton's 2007 Skull Shirt and a 2008 Backlash Event T-Shirt when they had Backlash at the 1st Mariner Arena. Don't know what to order, they don't have any awesome t-shirts(and pun intended) for the first & only Awesome MITB Winner; I'm not getting any Cena stuff, I would like to but it resembles the Denver Broncos lol. Not sure who I want to get, I myself may get some Nexus stuff not sure yet though.

This is interesting... check out this Cena Tweet:

CeNation. The viper lurks. He is seriously considering joining very soon.

So I guess Cena is recruiting Orton to join him, that wouldn't surprise me though I wouldn't expect Orton to join in until after Summer Slam. Nexus better be on alert... The Viper is coming...

    0

  17. I think I will be joining you on that wagon. I think HHH will screw Team Cena and this will lead right into Survivor Series.

Ha! Thanks, like the picture, though you could have found a better picture of Triple H with his mean face look, or even put Nexus with him in the picture. Here's the thing as I explained in the little storyline I wrote out for Triple H joining Nexus, getting Stephanie involved(if she isn't pregnant) and getting Shawn back to help enhance the storyline of how well just go back a couple pages and read the storyline but just you got that history and much more shocking things that can happen with Trips as the leader. Who wouldn't want to see Stephanie back, and considering how great of an actor she is, she could really pull off the whole family thing and saying how it was her father who took a chance on him and that by turning his back on the company, he's turning his back on his wife, she could make it believable that she would actually end the marriage. Shawn, we know the history there, those two could just come up with a promo out of nowhere and it would be great.

Though I still like the idea of Cena joining Nexus as long as The Rock plays the savior and it leads to The Rock vs John Cena at Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta.

    0

  18. No Cena turns heel at SS. This is a reboot of when Austin turned on Team WWF to join the alliance.

and now HHH is the savior, or maybe HHH returns and screws over Team WWE at SS?

Yeah this is a reboot of Austin joining the alliance but Triple H is playing the part of Austin and joining Nexus. I believe Triple H will return at Summer Slam and screw over Team Cena and I'm sticking to that theory all the way to Summer Slam.

unless it's a fake report on his injury HHH won't be back by SS.It's funny you mentioned that Alliance thing since my vhs to dvd conversion is during that time atm.

Yeah he just had surgery and I doubt it that's it a fake report because Vince was upset that someone tweeted about being in the same hospital as HHH and saying how he just had surgery and whoever tweeted about that removed the tweet.

Great Raw overall..... only bad parts...

    - Cena not joining Nexus

    - R-Truth costing The Miz the WWE Championship

    - Khali, Truth and Hart are apart of Team Cena(should have been Christian, Bourne and Big Show)

    0

  19. um really? that was the big surprise?damn that ruined a great show,i mean Great Khali and Bret Hart, and R-truth yeah ok

Yeah a great ending but Cena's team is a disappointment besides Edge, Jericho & Morrison. R-Truth & Khali are you kidding me? I knew Orton & Sheamus were out of the equation because they are facing each other for the championship but they could have went with 2 people from SD, I mean Christian and Big Show would have worked better over Truth & Khali. You get a much more popular guy in Christian and you still have your giant in Big Show. Bret Hart, ok going for a surprise there I like that but Evan Bourne would have been a better choice than Bret Hart since Hart can't wrestle and take many bumps and it would allow Bourne to continue his push. To be honest when Cena said 1 more, I was expecting Motor Head to play and have Triple H run out with a sledge hammer, I mean yeah he just had surgery but I still expected HHH. I had a slim chance of hope to hear The Rock's music and have the Rock come back and join himself with Cena. If it was me, Team Cena would have been Cena, Edge, Jericho, Bourne, Morrison, Christian and Big Show.

Now I wonder if this means that they are going with Triple H as the leader of Nexus since Cena didn't join as expected, for a second when Cena was thinking about it, I was saying take a chance Vince, take a chance and of course Cena says no.

I'm not sure about a Cena heel turn at SS, if anything I expect Triple H to come back and cost Team Cena their match, because of him being the leader plus they have Survivor Series in November, you think this is going to be over, no. They are setting themselves up for The Survivor Series, they got 7 superstars for each, I expect Triple H to cost Team Cena at Survivor Series(he's injured but he could still do a run in and something big to have Nexus win)

    0

  20. Barrett vs Henry.... here we go, is tonight going to be the night that Nexus officially takes the WWE by storm? Does Cena go heel.... will Cena turn his back on the WWE and join Nexus similar to July 1996 when Hulk Hogan turned his back on WCW and formed the NWO? 14 years later does Cena pull a Hulk Hogan?

  21. Nice to see even as a Sheamus fan Jo that you still were cheering for the Miz.

I know you hate the guy Franny, but you have to admit the fans love to hate the Celtic Warrior. He;'s doing a decent job lol

Well I like some of the guns, Sheamus, Miz, Morrison, and a couple others and I am just glad to see some fresh faces in the Main event instead of seeing the belt rotate between Cena, Triple H, Batista, Orton over & over & over again. That is the big reason I like Sheamus and that's because he's someone new and fresh, I'm not having Cena shoved down my throat every month now. In fact if The Miz would have won FF, I would have changed my picture to a pic of the Miz with the title.

The Comedy of the evening... Santino & Vladimir vs Regal & Ryder, and now the match is over. How come Regal and Santino can wrestle when serious yet they are forced into being a comedy act.

    0

  22. I normally don't mind R-Truth, but I'm mad at him for ruining what could've been a great moment, having Miz be a double-champion! Dammit!

On a related note, I love the crowd reaction for Miz attempting to cash in the briefcase. 1) It demonstrates how over Miz is; and 2) it shows how little the crowd cares for Sheamus. That's not heel heat on Sheamus, that's go-away heat.

I so agree with you, My jaw dropped when The Miz said he was going to cash in, I was yelling at my tv telling the ref to ring the bell... I was ready to count to 3 along with the ref and Truth ruined it. Good tease though I have no idea why The Miz should be feuding with Truth while he is holding the brief case and getting ready to be in the main event.

Edit: If The Miz would have became Champion at least Cleveland(Miz is from Cleveland) would have a champion who is awesome but a Champion to be proud of!
