Miz needs to be on the team!!! Make it happen and I'll actually WATCH the PPV just for Miz!!
I'm The Miz...... and.... I'll let you know Sunday... grr. Come On Miz why Sunday, I guess they have to leave us with some suspense, well 2 hours have gone by, and I'm going to take a guess that the Big Angle will happen now... but what??
Maryse's entrance music always gets my blood pumping. Song is just plain sexy. Maryse knows how to make a one-piece look amazing...
Oh Yeah... Maryse could probably make an ugly outfit look amazing.
what;s with the HBK heel facial hair JOMO?
That usually means a Heel turn is on the horizon. Just hope that don't mean Morrison defects to Nexus.
I'm officially jealous of Ted... is what Maryse wearing PG?
WOW..... ![]()
I don't even care there was no match, Maryse was hot!
So glad she is in that Swimsuit Spectacular Match tonight ![]()
Ok out of the Nexus Members other than Barrett since he is guaranteed to stay around, which other members have a good chance to stay after Nexus is over with?
The Great Khali vs Barrett... interesting. That just plants the seed for Khali to join. Pretty decent Divas match for once, even for the time it got it was pretty decent, I can't wait to see what Melina/Fox could do if given 10 minutes to wrestle.
Damn, I wouldn't have minded the Hart Dynasty being named as the two replacements! I completely forgot about them. They could've used the main event rub. Well, I guess that beatdown rules them out...
I know I forgot about them too, the only people I could think of was Dibiase, The Miz and Evan Bourne. Speaking fo the Miz....
AWESOME!!!!!!!
Why do I have a feeling Nexus will attack possible recruits and Cena pulls something out of his hat saying he had 2 guys in mind and those 2 weren't even here and 2 big name guys come out to join Team WWE.
I hope The Miz gets one of the spots, it would keep him relevant and it would help him with his push.
If something "big" is supposed to happen tonight (which it better!), I'm hoping there's big-name replacements to Edge and Jericho, and I can see those two interfering in the SummerSlam main event as a swerve and helping Team RAW get the win, rather than helping the Nexus.
I'm always, always holding out hope for something involving The Rock, though. OR a Cena heel turn being hinted again. Something. Anything! I have zero interest in SummerSlam at all this year.
I do expect something big to happen but what it is, I have no clue, I'm sure Vince and the guys are working hard to keep this under wrap so no spoiler site can spoil the big story. Your right Fran there could be two big name replacements but whom? Most of the Raw big names are in the match with the exception of Jericho/Edge who just quit. Triple H is out until the fall unless this is going to be Cena 2.0 where they said Cena was going to be out past WM 24 and he showed up to win the Royal Rumble but with HHH they say he is out until the fall to keep everybody's mind off it and than bam... Triple H reveals himself as the Nexus Leader at Summer Slam or joins Cena!
Though thinking about it, the only other real possibilities to replace Edge/Jericho, are The Miz, Dibiase, and Evan Bourne.
Anyone thinking Daniel Bryan could join up with Cena, I mean the way they wrote him off was he felt remorse so Bryan would want revenge at Nexus for kicking him out. I know Bryan's 90 days aren't up but WWE can bring him back at anytime. Though I think the perfect way to bring him back, is for Bryan to team up with Cena to get rid of Nexus and Bryan defects to go back to Nexus saying how he used Cena to get back in the company and how he knew if he buddied up with Cena and said he felt bad that they would let him back in, thus going into another wonderful promo about Management.
Tonight.... Khali Defects to Nexus leaving Cena down 3 guys just watch, I'm calling it... even though it's obvious he will join lol so everybody could tell he will lol.
Sorry to anyone I annoyed with the marking ouot for ECW stuff really,JO,Demon,Franny
You didn't annoy me, sorry if came across like that, I mean I watched the PPV or what I could of it since I could barely find working streams. I watched on Thursdays leading up to the PPV, so I helped give them ratings. I'm just saying that once this all goes away, the ratings will go back down because TNA has done nothing to build up the guys that will be there long term, AJ, Beer Money, MCMG, Jay Lethal. Just people will tune in to see the old ECW guys and that will be it.
Wouldn't it be much easier to just look at the results instead of watching the replay and keeping it all in one post instead of different posts for each segment. I didn't think it was that great of a PPV. For all the hype of it, it didn't live up to it's expectations. Now I hope TNA goes back to their storylines and pushing guys like AJ, Lethal, Motor City Machine Guns, Beer Money and the TNA ORIGINALS who were shoved aside for a non necessary ECW reunion.
Once their little ECW reunion goes away, so will the ratings all over again. This was in general a bad idea for TNA from the get go. They better be careful because TNA guys are upset they were tossed to side for this, and if TNA loses MCMG, Beer Money, AJ, Samoa Joe, or any good TNA wrestler to the WWE, TNA will be done.
Actually, that is pretty much my list. I'd also like to see LAX and Chris Daniels, even though Daniels is no longer under contract.
I think Samoa Joe's character has been revamped so many times, I don't even know what he really is anymore. He just needs to go back to basics and be a no-nonsense machine, with no alliances and no regard to anyone around him. Sure, that's been done to death and is pretty bland, but look at the man himself: he's in below-average shape but has above-average skills. If anyone can take "average" and make it phenomenal (no AJ Styles reference intended), Joe could probably get it done.
The triple threat match for the world title with Joe, Kurt Angle, and Daniels still stands as one of the few TNA matches that I've thoroughly enjoyed and found no fault in.
On a separate but related note, I'd love to see Kurt Angle return home to WWE. He still has a reasonably good professional relationship with Vince McMahon and hasn't burned his bridges with the company, even when Vince Russo asked him to. McMahon would be a fool not to take Angle back and push him like the star he's always been.
Yeah there has only been a few TNA Matches I have enjoyed myself and recently that has been the Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money, takes me back to the memories of when the WWE had a great tag division. I also enjoyed the Jan 4th match between Angle/Styles. I don't know what it is but Styles and Angle have the best in ring chemistry I have seen from any 2 superstars ever. Granted Triple H/HBK could be argued when it comes to that, but anytime Angle/Styles go at it, they put on a great match.
I agree with you about Kurt coming back, I would like to see him do just that, he's done it all in TNA and we can already tell Kurt is going to be the # 1 contender for the TNA Title after he goes through the list of contenders. Kurt has said he wants to help the young guys, well Kurt you got the young guys in WWE, there's more young guys for him to help in the WWE than there is TNA.
I read WWE just signed another Ring Of Honor wrestler, Tyler Black. It should be interesting to see what he does with the WWE, I mean CM Punk came from ROH and his stardom took off.
Consider how much money is being wasted, probably paying extra for some of the bigger ECW names they're bringing in, just for one appearance, not to mention having to put storylines on the backburner. On top of that, for the profit they'll be making from this one pay-per-view, they're risking the loss of some of their own talent because of their frustration with their lack of appearances -- and not just the guys who are on a pay-per-appearance deal.
The only reason TNA is able to turn any sort of profit is because they don't travel much, they have small production values, and they produce fewer shows than the competition. That said, they can't be cheap and stop limiting their guaranteed contracts to only the marquee names; they need to give financial security to the guys who are the future of the company. I'm not just talking about an A.J. Styles, but a guy like a Jay Lethal or an Eric Young or anyone else who has any mediocum of talent and could potentially be a star if given the right opportunity. You always need insurance in case a top guy like Styles or Kurt Angle goes down.
Thing is about TNA, is that some talents get paid per appearance so no appearance means no money. I mean I'm sure AJ has guaranteed money and isn't on a pay by appearance pay roll but your right guys like MCMG, Beer Money, Jay Lethal and a few others should be given a guaranteed money deal where they get paid no matter what.
Franchise let me ask you, is there anyone in TNA that has no connection to the WWE and who has been a TNA Original from the beginning you would like to see in the WWE? My list would be:
- Samoa Joe
- AJ Styles
- Motor City Machine Guns
- Awesome Kong(Free Agent again)
- ODB(Free Agent again but her and Kong would help the Divas Division big time)
- Madison Rayne/Velvet Sky
- Jay Lethal
That's got to be pretty bad, that TNA talent would actually consider going to WWE, even just as a move strictly for financial security. There were tons of guys in the past who signed with TNA just for the chance to be a in a start-up company with an emphasis on wrestling ability, rather than take the guaranteed money and languish in obscurity.
Vince McMahon, if smart, would put his ego aside just this once and welcome the TNA talent, and then allow them to build off their past success rather than do a complete reboot. Let them use their reputations and the company will be even bigger than it was before. It'll be similar to the WWF/E in 2001-2003, when they had never housed so many big and internationally-known names before.
Just off the top of my head, guys working for the WWF/E in that span:
The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Edge, Christian, The Dudley Boyz, The Hardy Boyz, Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, Batista, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Diamond Dallas Page, Scott Steiner...
That's a ton of talent under one roof, and more than enough guys to make the most stacked promotion ever. And that's not even including the mid-card and lower-card guys. If WWE does the same with the TNA talent that may defect, they could conceivably have the world's most talented roster once again.
Yeah look at Chris Harris, Vince screwed him over and left him to nothing, and now look at Kaval who is stuck with Lay-Cool so if he does acquire some more TNA Talent than he should just bring them in and go off their past history. I'm hoping Vince has took a look at Awesome Kong and some of the Knockouts TNA released to bring them in to help revive the Diva Division.
I just can't believe TNA is risking a lot to do another ECW Reunion and ignoring their own talent. Funny thing is, Hogan on Impact last Thursday cut a promo with Nash saying how their time was over and how it's time for guys like Jay Lethal, AJ Styles, Motor City Machine Guns, Beer Money and talked about how they are going to take TNA to the next level... yet those guys who Hogan said will take TNA to the next level are now playing second fiddle to all the ECW guys... and for Hogan to be going along with the Hardcore Justice PPV and supporting it, going out and saying these are the guys who will take TNA to the next level, and to leave them out in the dust, makes Hogan sound like a hypocrite that Chris Jericho loves to speak about.
Tonight is the night. First time in about a year I have been pumped up for a TNA PPV.And ironically it has nothing to do with TNA(if they do it right).Hardcore Justice I can not wait of course have to watch the replay at 11 cuz I work but I will enjoy this I hope
Well you may be excited but I read something interesting, some TNA Talent are not happy with the focus being on ECW and the past.
http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/stories/Report_TNA_Talents_Not_Required_At_HardCORE_J.shtml
TNA talent feels that the company should be looking forward and not backwards, to ECW or even to old WWE or WCW storylines. As many as 10 to 15 wrestlers are said to be unhappy with the emphasis on ECW recently and considering a move to WWE
So you may be happy but unknown TNA originals aren't happy, and I would like to know who is considering a move to the WWE because there are several TNA Talent I would love to see in the WWE(Motor City Machine Guns, Samoa Joe, Desmond Wolf)
Too bad Jerry Lynn re-aggravated his injury and had to pull out of the main event. I wonder what Jeff Jarrett's big (non-wrestling) surprise is...
Well see that's thing I have been trying to figure it out, some say it's doing PPV style shows on Free TV while cutting back on PPVs, and also some believe it's Heyman. Here's what JJ said on his twitter:
"FYI...I NEVER said my "news" I was going to talk about was wrestling related...but, a NDA was signed, so clues still to come...but later..."
So who knows what it is but it should be interesting.
It'd be interesting if there was a swerve and a mini-heel turn and 'Taker takes out Mysterio instead of Kane.
That would be something, now you talking about a mini heel turn for Rey or Taker? I think there is less risk involved turning Rey heel than turning Cena heel. Granted Cena needs a heel turn but it just won't happen yet. Now Mysterio like I said a page back I think would be perfect to swerve the fans and join the SES saying he, Punk, Gallows and Mercury attacked the Undertaker. Though the 2 problems at this point is the SES is in a feud with Big Show, and second they already ruled Punk out with the bar footage, unless they have Punk admit that tape was from a week before or something.
Right Now I'm hoping for something different rather than Kane like the SES and Rey joining them, or the other option would be Triple H reveals himself to be the leader of Nexus and says he and Nexus attacked Taker.
You forgot some stuff
-Rey Mysterio is at fault for injuring Undertaker
-oh and you forgot...The Miz won MiTB.
-Bret Hart was named as RAW GM and then was fired as GM be.
-Now there is a computer GM who is unknown.
Thats about it.
Also:
- Shawn Michaels retired in real life after wrestling The Undertaker at WrestleMania in a rematch of their encounter last year
- Triple H was written off television after a storyline injury caused by Sheamus, which was an excuse for Hunter to go film a movie; ironically, Triple H sustained a real injury during filming and is currently rehabbing
- The Legacy (Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, and Cody Rhodes) disbanded; Orton has turned into a no-nonsense babyface (similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin), Ted DiBiase has taken on his father's Million Dollar Man gimmick, and Cody Rhodes has taken on a narcissistic gimmick as "Dashing" Cody Rhodes
- The Hart Dynasty got a big push by their association with Bret Hart upon Hart's return to WWE; Hart culminated his comeback with a poorly-worked match against Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania
- CM Punk has continued his heel Straightedge Society stable with more elements of his gimmick resembling Charles Manson
- The RAW guest host concept is slowly being de-emphasized and phased out
I knew I was missing some things Thanks.
Who thinks Taker will make an appearance at SS next Sunday?
Can i get a recap of the last few months in the WWE?
Please and thank you..
To Summarize the last few months:
- Season 1 NXT Rookies formed a group called NEXUS, which is the big Raw Storyline for the Summer. They feel they have been treated wrong by management.
- Nexus has attacked everything and anyone, including the chairman Vince McMahon.
- At Summer Slam it's going to be Team WWE vs Nexus in a 7 on 7 Match. Team WWE will consist of Cena, Khali, John Morrison, R-Truth, Bret Hart. Edge and Jericho quit the team.
- Jack Swagger was one of the new stars made on SD, he lost the WHC to Rey Mysterio.
- Rey Mysterio lost the WHC to current holder Kane after Kane cashed in MITB(they made a separate PPV for MITB
- Undertaker was attacked during Memorial Day and is in a vegetate state, This is the big SD storyline. Kane is attacking anyone trying to figure out who attacked him. Kane has accused Rey Mysterio of attacking Undertaker.
- Sheamus is a 2 Time WWE Champion.
Anything I'm missing here guys? Hope this helps.
As much as the storyline is leading towards another Undertaker and Kane match, I don't want it to happen. It's too, too obvious, and we've seen the match done to death. They have the chance to make Kane the red herring in this storyline and make the culprit someone else. Perhaps Triple H? That'd be something out of left-field, but it'd make sense if you were to throw in how he was angry that 'Taker retired his best friend. Also, it could go back to Triple H having never had his WrestleMania moment despite having a more accomplished career (similar reasoning for a Triple H-HBK non-wrestling feud if it were to happen) and it would give Triple H something to do after he takes care of Sheamus.
It'd turn Triple H back into the egomaniac of a heel he used to be, and it'd make him somewhat sympathetic if he were to turn face again.
That would so work, but the only problem is besides Shawn's retirement what other reason does HHH have to go after the Undertaker? Granted it has been 10 years since HHH has faced Undertaker at WM so maybe Triple H will want another crack at it but I would like to see Taker face someone new. Now another problem is that would mean Triple H would go to SD which would be good since SD is moving to a new network, but would Trips be interested in going to SD?
I have been wanting them to go a different direction as well, Kane vs Undertaker again is nice but we seen it, even if this time Kane is given a proper push and build up for this match. I wanted Nexus to be the ones who attacked Taker, but it seems WWE is content with keeping it a Raw problem. Triple H attacking Taker could swerve things a bit and move away from the obvious and shock everyone. Now let's see if Triple H comes back as a Heel could he be revealed as the leader of Nexus and worry about Taker on SD at the same time? I mean Trips could say him and Nexus attacked them together and that he had Justin Gabriel dress up as Mysterio where they attacked him from behind(where he didn't see who attacked him) and set Mysterio up where it looks like it's him to hide it.
Now of course we all know that with Kane saying Mysterio did it, they could keep it as Mysterio and pull a swerve over everyone by Mysterio saying he had help and reveals that him, CM Punk and the SES all attacked Undertaker, turning Mysterio Heel, finally joining the SES and giving the SES the push it deserves.
I read that they are planning a "Major Angle" for Raw this Monday to build up SS even more, heel turn possibly of Cena, Jericho/Edge get a team together to make it a huge 21 Man Elimination Match, Team WWE vs Nexus vs Edge/Jericho's team or Khali finally defects over to Nexus before SS and Cena loses another member.
http://rajah.com/base/node/19890
So maybe Taker returns at SS, but not to wrestle?
That sounds about right, Taker was suppose to be out until September anyhow, so a match between him and Kane at NOC and a rematch at Hell In A Cell makes sense. Now what I don't understand and I don't want to make any Taker fans upset, but besides his WM Streak, what does the Undertaker have left to prove anymore? I'm not saying he should retire but he takes off after WM every year, heals up comes back for the Summer through the next WM and takes off again. He has alot of injuries, I don't get why Vince just doesn't keep Taker sidelined for longer than SS as in he may miss a Wrestlemania but I think he just needs to heal up, take a year off, let his body get in shape, and gear up for 2 more years, go 20-0 at WM and retire.
At the rate of injuries he has had, I'm not sure if he'll make it to 20-0. Personally I think they should give Kane a proper title run, have him beat Mysterio at SS cleanly, go through NOC as champion and have Kane lose it to Punk/Swagger(more so of Punk since the SES is in dire need of a Push) at SSeries or TLC and Have Taker stay off SD heal up and come back for his WM 27 storyline with whomever(or in this case the person who attacked him) instead of giving him another title run when Punk needs it to help the SES and Swagger could get it back but only if he is going to have a run of 6 months or more and be a dominant champion.
I think there are going to be 2 surprise replacements for them. Ya' know, 2 superstars that haven't seen the ring in a long time in the WWE....
You cant throw a jobber like Mark Henry in the SS Main event (if it is). Its going to be some big names filling in for them!
Well yeah I think that makes sense, and considering the big names left I'll say Triple H may be one of them, but I still think there is a chance he could go heel and help Nexus win. Could one of them possibly be..... drum roll please..... Bryan Danielson!!! If anything they may go to the SD Roster and whatever big name and get Christian and Matt Hardy to be the 2 replacements.
That was a lack luster ending to Raw. Next week should be good as Team WWE is falling apart and Orton and Sheamus continue on the road to Summer Slam.
Yeah a Cena heel turn needs to happen, but with his team falling apart why would he defect now or even at Summer Slam? Plus Vince is smart, he knows Cena equals $$$$. Why would he risk a Cena heel turn now and not wait to do it later when the timing is more right.
this week it will be team WWE falling apart next week they will all come together when Cena is getting beat down or something!
Oh look a John Cena movie
Yep another Cena movie, I have seen the Marine, seen 12 Rounds and Legendary looks like a good movie. I'm a sucker for movies with WWE stars, I'll see them no matter how bad it looks. I have seen all The Rock's movies except Gameplan, I even saw the movie with Mr. Kennedy in it. The only ones I haven't were The Condemned with Austin and I am waiting for Ted Dibiase's movie The Marine 2 to go on discount and buy it.
I'm just glad Maryse didn't getting kid napped by Nexus... I thought for sure they would have tried to kid nap her. I'm really thinking that it is too predictable now that Khali will defect over to Nexus, and either they do it next week or at Summer Slam, but I'm still hoping that a Cena heel turn happens at Summer Slam or Triple H heel turn happens as he defects to Nexus to be the main leader of Nexus.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get Use to the Miz main eventing Raw... this is only the beginning.
I would get into plans that I'd have for rebuilding WWE, but I'm too tired to go through all that.
Needless to say, revamping the women's division would surprisingly be one of my top priorities. There was a lot of potential there before Lita and Trish both retired.
Yeah that certainly would be my top priority if I ever had the chance to run the WWE for a day. First thing I would do is bring back Mickie James, bring in Awesome Kong, and take every Diva who can't wrestle on the roster and have them train more and together to help their wrestling technique and get a good chemistry between each other so there can be more good divas matches, even if they only get 2 minutes of TV time.
So now Jericho is off team WWE, and now there were 5. Jericho & Edge quickly formed a pact and are now tag teaming again, interesting. Ok Michael Cole how come you have to always say 'Excuse Me, I just got an email from the GM."... hey Cole I think by now we know that the beep and the lights flickering means you got an Email from the GM, stop telling us what we know.
Jericho/Edge vs Cena/Hart? Quite Interesting.
Chris Jericho vs John Cena.... loser Quits Team WWE!!! Edge has already quit getting team WWE down to 6, now who will leave to make it 5?

Yeah it was but hey it still will be a very good match on Sunday. So now with 1 remaining spot left will the Awesome one take the final spot or will there be a surprise(Triple H, Daniel Bryan, A SD Superstar, etc) partner.
So much for major angle, that really wasn't a major angle, booooo.
