  1. Was reading The Caw, man I can't believe our boy Joe is 30 already. Man time sure does fly, but at least he wants to play into his 40's, so we are pretty much set at QB for the next 10 years.

I feel like I've watched my kid grow up, never mind that Joe is older than me.

Haha. There are fewer than 10 players on the Ravens roster right now that are older than me. Joe is not one of them :(

  2. Isn't it something how things just fall in place for Ozzie. We can release Rice, and move on to a RB heavy 2015 Draft Class and Ozzie can work his magic and get a better RB than Rice.

I think it's given we go offense heavy next year, other than picking a cornerback (hopefully)

Oh yea, the $9.5M+ in dead money that will be on our books in 2015 is a masterstroke by Ozzie?

  3. Each year I come up from NC for a game. I'm reminded of how much I miss MD. Maybe one day I'll come back for good.

How long is the trip? About 8 hours, right?

    2. JO_75

      JO_75

Well I flew up so only 2 hours lol.

Or that... Have a good trip.

  4. Tomorrow Morning marks the return of the annual fight with the Ticketmaster Bots for Ravens tickets. Who else is trying to get tickets tomorrow?

      PuRock

I was at it again this year. Brutal like always, but I kept at it.

I did get two tickets to the KC game 1st row in the 500 section somehow at about 10:45.

    2. JO_75

      JO_75

Yeah I just bought 2 tickets to the Chargers game, 524 Row 31 Seats 24 and 25

Browns game Section 128 then in Miami section 117. IK am satisfied although the Pittsburgh game does intrigue me.

  5. With the mess in SF with everyone retiring left and right, you have to feel sorry for Torrey. He deserves so much more than this. Hey Jed, we'll give you Arthur Brown and you'll give us Torrey back.... Deal? :)

    1. stampedehero

      stampedehero

Apparantly Arthur Brown is not welcome here. Why would SF players retire? Lets start a conspiricy..

    2. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

Why feel sorry for Torrey? He has a ring, he has money in the bank, he's re-united with Q, and IMO most Ravens fans have no hard feelings over him leaving for that big of a contract. The 49ers may be bad this year, but there's always next year. I think he's perfectly happy in San Francisco.

  6. Bold Prediction: Pitta's return leads us to a deep playoff run.

Getting healthy at a great time. There won't be enough game tape for opponents to see how we use them.

  7. This has just been the most unluckiest Ravens season I have ever seen. 2-7 but so close to being 6-3, 7-2, 8-1, etc.

    1. redrum52

      redrum52

Ha. So close to being winless too.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I prefer to look at it as how close we are to being not just a contender, but a dominant team. A few pieces here and there will do it.

  8. Happy New Year to all and congrats to 2015 for signing a 1 year contract!

      All the best!

  9. If Ohio State can upset the mighty Nick Saban and Alabama.... then we can go into Pittsburgh and win!

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I have no doubt we can win. Don't know whether we will or not but we certainly can.

Only one parameter you left out. Nuetral field

  10. Justin Tucker Made a 75 YD Field Goal in Pro Bowl Practice. That is all.Ā

and he kicked from 50yd line to nail the basket attached to the upper pole...

and not one bit surprised. Ā that is just what Tucker do

  11. We are a young team, there will be growing pains that go along with it. Reminds me of the 6-10 Packers the first year with Rodgers. Patience my friends....

    1. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

I have to disagree with you. are team is not that young. Are team is lacking intensity. Ray being gone has really hurt this team, in the will to win sense. There is no other human on earth like 52. So we can't blame anyone for his lack of leadership not being here. I personally hope we get the best draft position we can. It wouldn't hurt us to get young IMHO. lets go get a few studs in the draft this year, Let Marlon grow and get stronger, and hope for the best next year.

    2. Sizzlebshu

      Sizzlebshu

you know what the problem with that statement is? The Pack went 6-10

  12. NFL made it up to the Packers for Fail Mary on Thursday. Tonight, they made it up to Dallas for Dez's catch/no catch. You owe us 3 games, get on it NFL.

    1. Tank 92

      Tank 92

Did they give Dallas something last night?

    2. 52520Andrew

      52520Andrew

I think Dallas will trade a win last night for a win in Green Bay any day of the week. The only thing that makes up a playoff loss to me is a playoff win.

  13. There's a reason we say "In Oz We Trust", and the first three rounds showed why. Here's to more great selections tomorrow!

    1. juanman7

      juanman7

RB, CB, DL Depth and possibly another target like a Stefon Diggs or maybe a tackle? We'll see we have 6 picks so all of those could be picks!!

    2. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

We are so blessed as fans.

  14. I feel so bad for Flacco. He does everything he can to help us win, and we don't have a AJ Green/Dez Bryant/Julio Jones receiver but yet he makes it work with what we give him. Then he sits on the sidelines and watches Dean Pees give away so many games.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

I mean, look at Dalton for crying out loud. Give Flacco those weapons and defense, we're 5-0 as well.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Flacco is a contract that needs redone during the offseason. At some point, the man has to consider his options if this continues.

  15. #FireTrestman. Should be 5-0.

    1. Kilroy

      Kilroy

Agreed! Ā  Ā If Harbaugh doesn't see that, we should consider letting him go too. Ā He is becoming too soft... he needs to show no mercy, be aggressive!!!

    2. ALSKAN RAVEN FAN

      ALSKAN RAVEN FAN

We really should be 5-0 but for that to happen this team needs to want it and the coaches need to call a smart game. We need to protect Flacco and give him time . West should get 20-25 carries a game. The WR's need to catch the balls that hit them in the hands and in the numbers on their chest, The defense needs to get pressure on the QB's and the special teams just need to contribute by tackling when needed and not making bone headed mistakes.

  16. Falcons are eliminated from playoff contention and the Jaguars are still in playoff contention. How sad.

      Neal Could Block the SUN!!

where are all the Ryan/Flacco comparions now???

  17. Crazy that Anthony Davis' 5 year $145M deal is worth $29M a year. If you didn't watch the NBA, you think he was an all pro NFL QB with that kind of money. Crazy to think Luck and Wilson may get a very similar contract.

    1. Orange_Peanut

      Orange_Peanut

The NBA signed a massive $24 B TV deal this year while the NFL has a $27 B contract in place. The NFL has a cap for a 53 man roster while its just a 15 man roster in the NBA. Until the NFL renews their TV contract in 2022, I don't think NFL teams will be shelling out that much money... just yet. Anyways, Davis is a beast and deserves that money. He's going to be the best player in the league in a couple of years.

    2. ravensnick

      ravensnick

Davis is probably the third best all around player in the NBA after Lebron and Durant

  18. 6 Wins; 6 Losses; 6th Seed. Thank You Tucker!

    2. JO_75

      JO_75

No, just pointing out the irony lol. Second part is just a congrats to Tucker

  19. Both Dez Bryant and Thomas got identical contracts. Gostkowski just got a 4 year $17M deal from Patriots. Think Tucker would accept that?

    1. stampedehero

      stampedehero

Sure. This team would give him the cash
