  1. Just ordered a Suggs Super Bowl XLVII Jersey to celebrate his new contract!

Thanks, had to get it customized because they didn't have a regular SB Suggs jersey, plus it was on sale for $80. Can't beat a customized jersey for that low.

  2. Ok so, Thanks Br*dy, you did what we all wanted you to do. Beat the Steelers in week one. Now you can go serve your 4 game suspension.

    1. HomeoftheBRAVENS

      HomeoftheBRAVENS

@polynesian15 I doubt it.Bill and Brady have a long history of being caught cheating but there hasn't been anything bad enough to ban them from Canton.

    2. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Isn't cheating bad enough in itself - and especially REPEATED cheating?

Guess we need a reminder that the world isn't always fair.

    3. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

That's not a Favre - what you need to do is retire again, then unretire next week and demand your moderator job back - and you have to tell them if you don't get it back, you'll go to the Steelers, become one of their moderators, and take your revenge on us.

  4. If Joe Flacco is still in the mood to score some points, he can come to game 4 and score enough runs to ensure the Royals can't win.

Flacco can pitch though.....or I hope we don't get a bagel....

  8. Need some help from the locals. When it comes to apartments in MD, what area has the cheapest or expensive but affordable rent? Thinking of giving it a go and transferring within my work back to MD but wanna see what you all say about rent and best places. If it helps, I grew up in Baltimore County so I'm only familar with places around there.

  9. Read Eric Ebron has been dropping a lot of passes over in Detroit. Seems like Jim Caldwell found himself a Detroit version of Ed Dickson.

    1. ravensnick

      ravensnick

Give Ebron time, they also have Petrigrew and Fauria. I think they end up using Ebron primarily in the slot receiver position.

    2. ravensnick

      ravensnick

Yeah, because he is definitely enough of an athlete to do that and they do have Petrigrew (who they just resigned) and Fauria (who broke out huge as a red zone threat). They honestly probably having the best receiving corps with Megatron (Best WR in the league)/Tate (one of the better #2s in the league)/Petrigrew (solid all-around TE)/Fauria(redzone threat)/Ebron(slot wide receiver IMO, and would be a beast at that)/Bush (over 500 receiving yards and 3 tds last year)/Bell(547 receiving yards...

    3. TDubbs

      TDubbs

Yeah wow, that is pretty stacked when you break it down like that. They already had 2 TE's when the drafted Ebron. So he really is pretty much the #3 WR. That is going to be a crazy offense to watch this year!

    3. Nightman

      Nightman

Mostly for single tickets that true, you might want to try scorebig.com which is a priceline style place to buy them, I got the Jaguars game for $65. Only problem is you can't pick the row, just the section. There's seatgeek.com which compares various sites and most have the fees included. The Jags game is the cheapest one this year.

  11. Why is there a debate about the overtime rules.... again? If the Packers had scored on their first possession and won, would there be any discussion? Probably not but because the Packers didn't get a chance in OT, the media goes nuts.

  12. So Ray Rice gets his suspension lifted but Adrian Peterson stays suspended? Goodell is going to go down in court, it's about to get ugly.

    1. Tank 92

      poescrows

RR got his lifted because of double jeopardy. Not the case with AP.

    3. RaineV1

      RaineV1

Ray Rice got his lifted because he was essentially punished twice for the same event. That isn't the case with AP.

  13. For those who want Harbs gone, and for those who think we should move on from Joe. See the 49ers decline since we beat them in the Super Bowl as a reason why you don't run a good coach out of town, and why when you have a good QB.... you stick with him.

    1. DefensiveMind

  14. Well Dean, for all the "players aren't executing" stuff you pulled, this time it's on you. We have Jimmy, Webb, Hill, and now Weddle in our secondary. Williams, Mosley, Jernigan, Suggs & Doom up front. Ozzie just gave you one last chance. Either your system sucks and you go or you prove the defense has lacked the talent.

  16. Am I the only one who realizes that if we can re-sign Monroe and Smith, there is a possibility of using the Tag on Art Jones and being able to keep all of our key free agents. This is exciting!

    1. gabefergy

      gabefergy

I don't think there would be enough cap room to Tag Jones after signing both of them.

    2. Purple_ICE 81

      Purple_ICE 81

Monroe will likely be tagged unless we can knock out his deal in the next couple days. FT deadline is monday.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

I don't see Monroe being tagged because he LT tag would be huge. also tagging art jones would just delay the inevitable because ultimately were not gonna have the future cap space that can handle the kinda money hes going to get. the ravens should stick to what they do best, draft good, let players shine on rookie contracts, re-sign the NEEDED players, let others walk if theyre getting overpaid.

  17. If it's any positive out of this, last time we lost to the Patriots in the playoffs, we won the Super Bowl next season. Hope that is the case next season.

    1. Torreysmithforthewin
    2. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

If we Ozzie can fix the secondary, and Kubiak stays as OC, we will be the best team in the NFL/world. I couldn't be prouder of our Ravens though.

    3. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

We also had Q and Dennis. We need someone to fill their roles that we still haven't found, especially if Dennis isn't what he was when he comes back.

  18. If Pitta can return healthy, with the addition of Perriman, and we avoid injuries in the secondary, for once in our 20 seasons, we'll have a balanced team that is deadly on both sides of the ball.

    1. Gordo52
    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Big "if" for Pitta and doesn't seem to be a great draft for TE talent. Have to hope Gilmore & Supernaw can step up if Pitta can't go this season.

  24. If the pattern continues and we win the Super Bowl after losing to the Redskins, we should request to play them every year.

    1. B.C.

      B.C.

You have to admit that after the loss to the redskins in 2012 the o.c.( cam cameron } was fired and that both of  the redskins regular season victories over the ravens ( 2000 & 2012 ) led to superbowl wins that there is a pattern. i remember the peyton manning led colts played the tom brady patriots every year for 9 years in a row so it can be done. the n.f.l. could have just left the colts in the a.f.c. east and moved the miami dolphins to the a,f,c, south and the colts would have played the patriots twice a year for those high ratings games.

    2. Nightman

      Nightman

I doubt the pattern will continue.  Ravens keep playing like this and the only way they'll get to the Super Bowl is buying seats on NFL Ticket Exchange.

    3. AsianRice

      AsianRice

@Nightman would you say the same thing in 2012? I'll bet you would when our defense ranked top 20, which wouldn't be near as our defense today....
