  1. I like Joe's playoff road record but for once can he set some HOME playoff records. Only 2 Home Playoff games in the Harbaugh-Flacco Era. Fix it for next season please.

that's this year. look at the QB caliber we faced. We don't get that next year - in fact, going back to what you said about things changing - it could be an even more difficult schedule than it appears right now.

    3. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

And it could be an easier schedule... time will tell. A lot of the teams on our upcoming schedule have major question marks.

Based on what I see, what QBs are we really talking about here? Manning, Rivers and Wilson? That's even assuming Manning comes back, which he probably does. The rest of the list is basically mid-tier QBs, and ideally we will have an improved secondary by then.

The defenses figure to be better, sure. But you could argue that the offenses could...

Yes... and I agree with jacket 30ppg on a consistent basis gets us the key # 1 seed and for h ravensdfan the Denver coaching shocker yesterday has yet to be concluded. Also, The stench of that SD game will not be forgotten.

  2. NFL Shop has a 10 character limit on custom jerseys. January Joe = 10 Characters. The space makes it 11... ugh. I want a January Joe jersey.

lmao Nor a lot of other people! Crazy! Make one yourself. It isn't that hard.

  3. If it's any positive out of this, last time we lost to the Patriots in the playoffs, we won the Super Bowl next season. Hope that is the case next season.

If we Ozzie can fix the secondary, and Kubiak stays as OC, we will be the best team in the NFL/world. I couldn't be prouder of our Ravens though.

    3. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

We also had Q and Dennis. We need someone to fill their roles that we still haven't found, especially if Dennis isn't what he was when he comes back.

  4. The only positive to this loss is we get a head start on keeping Daniels and Forsett. Get working on those contracts Ozzie.

  5. 3-0? Now 3-1, meaning the smallest number becomes the biggest. Can't wait to renew our playoff rivalry with Brady & Co next week.

  6. If Ohio State can upset the mighty Nick Saban and Alabama.... then we can go into Pittsburgh and win!

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

I have no doubt we can win. Don't know whether we will or not but we certainly can.

  8. Brady freeing up the Patriots cap space. Hey Joe, want to free up some cap space for us?

    1. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Just so you know too, Brady actually winds up with a RAISE the way the restructure was done so don't be acting like he's some Saint.

^^ his apparent raise is still under the cap and price tag of what he is actually worth though by a decent amount.

lol as the next article states - skip the sainthood - it helped both sides but Brady gave up nothing.

  10. Ravens need a win + a SD loss to get into the playoffs and be the 6th seed. So the loss to SD comes back to bite us. Damn it.

    1. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

Yeah, and we actually dominated them in all phases of the game. The stars just don't want to align this year.

Gotta get by Connor Shaw first.

Connor Shaw. Given how we like to make unknowns look like Peyton, the name strikes fear into my heart.

  12. So Ray Rice gets his suspension lifted but Adrian Peterson stays suspended? Goodell is going to go down in court, it's about to get ugly.

RR got his lifted because of double jeopardy. Not the case with AP.

Ray Rice got his lifted because he was essentially punished twice for the same event. That isn't the case with AP.

Quarterbacks should watch out for ME. Im signing on as a cornerback. Starting immediately

  14. Our 8th victory means the worse we can finish is 8-8. Meaning in 7 seasons with us, Harbaugh will yet to have a losing season. Congrats Harbs!

Mom - No, they hired some guy from the college ranks who has NFL experience as a WR.

    4. The Mom Gene

      The Mom Gene

The Ravens hired Engram... The guy worked as an offensive assistant with the 49ers in 2011. Then in in 2012 and 2013, he was the wide receivers coach at the University of Pittsburgh. Before that, he was a wideout with the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs.

  16. Not too worried. Remember Dalton is the Matt Ryan of the AFC. He can take the regular season sweep and Flacco can just take his second Lombardi in Feb.

Flacco can pitch though.....or I hope we don't get a bagel....

The fans in Tampa were actually very nice yesterday. They have accepted that they lose... especially to good teams. They were all over the compliments about Flacco and our team....

  20. The annual "there will be a NFL team in London" talk is upon us. Just maybe we get rid of Goodell, the new commissioner can end this playing in London BS.

If it brings in another 16 billion a year in funds I see it happening poescrows. Also they are doing it as a market. It didnt do so well 20 years ago. Remember Kurt Warner? He played for amsterdam. So to say it isnt that popular is changing. With our military abroad they will also have a chance to see "their team" in their local area as well IF they move. Now they might start a UK league. And the American Super bowl, and UK Super bowl winners might duke it out. I dont see chartering t...

FYI usually two days before the game they will release tickets. That's how I've been buying mine.

      JO_75

Yeah but it screws the out of towners like me who can't just ask off work days before the game. NFL really screws up the whole putting in for time off to be able to go and even getting that time off from work.

  23. Isn't it something how things just fall in place for Ozzie. We can release Rice, and move on to a RB heavy 2015 Draft Class and Ozzie can work his magic and get a better RB than Rice.

Oh yea, the $9.5M+ in dead money that will be on our books in 2015 is a masterstroke by Ozzie?

  24. My PS3 just got the Yellow Light of Death.... thank goodness I only have to wait until Tuesday to get the PS4.

  25. I'm officially done with Profootball Talk. In their article about Ray getting a statute, and I quote.. "Knocking a woman out concisous gets you a standing ovation. If you want a statue you have to obstruct justice in a murder".
