  1. With Kubiak gone, this means this board will lose its mind. Taking me a two week vacation, see you all Super Bowl Sunday.

No! This means that "some" people on these boards will lose their mind. Not all of us! Lol!

nvm enjoy your 2 weeks off. Shanahan is gone. Dennison & Parani are leaving with Kubiak. Trestman is gone. Ugh.

  2. With the mess in SF with everyone retiring left and right, you have to feel sorry for Torrey. He deserves so much more than this. Hey Jed, we'll give you Arthur Brown and you'll give us Torrey back.... Deal? :)

    1. stampedehero

      stampedehero

Apparantly Arthur Brown is not welcome here. Why would SF players retire? Lets start a conspiricy..

    2. Ravenslifer

      Ravenslifer

Why feel sorry for Torrey? He has a ring, he has money in the bank, he's re-united with Q, and IMO most Ravens fans have no hard feelings over him leaving for that big of a contract. The 49ers may be bad this year, but there's always next year. I think he's perfectly happy in San Francisco.

  3. Wonder if I'm the only one who likes the Extra Point being moved back. With this passing league, I was positive the Kicker position would turn into a dying a breed and be phased out. Now the NFL just put emphasis on having a good Kicker and made it more important of a position for the full 60 minutes, not just parts of the game.

    1. beasy2487

      beasy2487

I don't totally agree because, unless this equates to higher pay for kickers, I think it just means there is a higher incentive to go for 2.

    2. RavensAllTheWay

      RavensAllTheWay

I think it's a terrible change because games are now going to be won and lost by what happens after TDs. What if a game comes down to a kicker missing a 33 yard FG? What if it comes down to which team makes for 2 pt attempts? Not how games should be decided.

  4. Yes I'm mad about missing the playoffs but then I see Cleveland who fires their HC after only one season, and I feel better about what we have done with Harbaugh/Flacco since 2008.

  6. 'Twas the night before the NFL Draft, when all through Chicago every rumor stirring. Just want this to end so we know FACT and not Fiction.

  7. #FireTrestman. Should be 5-0.

    1. Kilroy

      Kilroy

Agreed!    If Harbaugh doesn't see that, we should consider letting him go too.  He is becoming too soft... he needs to show no mercy, be aggressive!!!

    2. ALSKAN RAVEN FAN

      ALSKAN RAVEN FAN

We really should be 5-0 but for that to happen this team needs to want it and the coaches need to call a smart game. We need to protect Flacco and give him time . West should get 20-25 carries a game. The WR's need to catch the balls that hit them in the hands and in the numbers on their chest, The defense needs to get pressure on the QB's and the special teams just need to contribute by tackling when needed and not making bone headed mistakes.

  8. Aaron Rodgers & Matt Ryan, you have one job. Put up a 50 berger in the Super Bowl and embarrass the Steelers or Patriots.

  9. According to the 2012 formula, we got our last loss of the season tonight. We finished 10-6 that year and won the Super Bowl.

I hope this season does not mirror 2013. Playing .500 ball is Not Ravens. However,, it is better than last year

  12. Apparently people are mad that we didn't Punt on the final play. I'm sorry but that's called playing smart football. Not cheating.

    1. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

Look at it this way: BB does this type of thing to find a loophole in the rules and it's dirty and cheating. The Ravens do it and it's brilliant.

Think of how other fanbases feel.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Do you mean the media? Because I've seen nothing but praise for Harbs and how smart he was on that play. Haven't seen anything about it being cheating.

    3. JO_75

      JO_75

Mostly from fans, I've seen nothing but praise from the media as well. Just fans upset and Patriots fans in the comment section on PFT saying how if they did it, Harbaugh would whine, etc. Stupid fans, that's all.

  13. Cavs... 52 years. Cubs... 108 years. 2016, the year long championship droughts ended. The NFL Cardinals haven't won a title since 1947! 68 years(before Super Bowl era)! Are they next?

Had to go through Ticket Exchange myself, Row 541, Row 15. Now I'm looking at Browns tickets which Ticketmaster has plenty of to complete my week in Baltimore.

  15. I'm on to Free Agency.

  16. If the pattern continues and we win the Super Bowl after losing to the Redskins, we should request to play them every year.

    1. B.C.

      B.C.

You have to admit that after the loss to the redskins in 2012 the o.c.( cam cameron } was fired and that both of  the redskins regular season victories over the ravens ( 2000 & 2012 ) led to superbowl wins that there is a pattern. i remember the peyton manning led colts played the tom brady patriots every year for 9 years in a row so it can be done. the n.f.l. could have just left the colts in the a.f.c. east and moved the miami dolphins to the a,f,c, south and the colts would have played the patriots twice a year for those high ratings games.

    2. Nightman

      Nightman

I doubt the pattern will continue.  Ravens keep playing like this and the only way they'll get to the Super Bowl is buying seats on NFL Ticket Exchange.

    3. AsianRice

      AsianRice

@Nightman would you say the same thing in 2012? I'll bet you would when our defense ranked top 20, which wouldn't be near as our defense today....

  17. Is it Thursday Yet?

  18. It's time for Bisciotti to step in. 3 of 4 years we've missed the playoffs. Clean house.

    1. mhedge

      mhedge

I also totally agree. We have plenty of playmakers. They are just always under achieving. I only enjoyed watching one game this whole year. It was more because the Dolphins didn't come to play than our execution.

This was probably the easiest schedule we've seen in years. We had healthy players throughout. You can fire all the coordinators you want but at the end of the day Harbaugh has to be called out.

I'm not sure what is going on but as I've said before, if we trust in Ozzy for good players than it must be the coaching of those players that is the problem. I think if we had any other GM in the league picking players this team would be far worse.

    2. AsianRice

      AsianRice

I agree Steve needs to step in and start seriously re-evaluate everyone!.....
