  1. Well Dean, for all the "players aren't executing" stuff you pulled, this time it's on you. We have Jimmy, Webb, Hill, and now Weddle in our secondary. Williams, Mosley, Jernigan, Suggs & Doom up front. Ozzie just gave you one last chance. Either your system sucks and you go or you prove the defense has lacked the talent.

No D Dean will be gone hello DC Frazier

  2. "Somebody didn't want me and going to a place that wants you is awesome" - Haloti Ngata. No Ngata, Ozzie wanted you here but you were too greedy and refused to lower your cap space.

I care more for actual games then preseason. Last year Timmy filled in for a couple games and our defense played at the same level then when Ngata was on the field. Small sample of course, but that says more then 2 preseason games.

I can't believe he would say that, but it is what it is. Good luck trying to fill in for Suh

Really Ngata? I always wish for the best when players leave the Ravens, but not in this case.

Nice job O's! Would just die if they go all the way this year.

  4. 3-0? Now 3-1, meaning the smallest number becomes the biggest. Can't wait to renew our playoff rivalry with Brady & Co next week.

  5. 4th & 29 all over again.

shoot! It's the problem of being in a smaller market. Once a big market comes calling they are off.

  8. After years on this board, I'm going to retire from the forums. Have fun with the Draft and the 2015 season.

  9. Alright Andy Reid, you know the drill. Just like last year beating the Chargers for us, do the same with the Bengals on Sunday. Thanks.

I actually kind of do like the Chiefs a little bit to win this game.

  10. Alright....... Bring on Free Agency.

  11. Am I the only one who realizes that if we can re-sign Monroe and Smith, there is a possibility of using the Tag on Art Jones and being able to keep all of our key free agents. This is exciting!

    1. gabefergy

      gabefergy

I don't think there would be enough cap room to Tag Jones after signing both of them.

    2. Purple_ICE 81

      Purple_ICE 81

Monroe will likely be tagged unless we can knock out his deal in the next couple days. FT deadline is monday.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

I don't see Monroe being tagged because he LT tag would be huge. also tagging art jones would just delay the inevitable because ultimately were not gonna have the future cap space that can handle the kinda money hes going to get. the ravens should stick to what they do best, draft good, let players shine on rookie contracts, re-sign the NEEDED players, let others walk if theyre getting overpaid.

  12. Anyone else get the Ray Lewis book? I bought it ahead of a book signing he is doing, but a few pages in it's already signed. Anyone else notice this?

  13. Anyone have thoughts on Peyton Manning being linked to HGH and using it during his recovery in 2011?

Of course he is not going to regain all of his velocity after that injury. But without hgh he would never have played again. I agree the story should never have surfaced because the dude needed hgh for healing purposes so he could play again. It is not cheating!! When a player has surgery to repair an injury and the surgery wasn't available 40 yrs ago, is it called cheating because the players 40 yrs ago did not have the surgery?? HGH has very little effect on muscle growth unless...

Won't say if Peyton took them or not but NFL.com sure made him look guilty trying to deflect controversy onto a handful of other athletes instead of just sticking with the 'he didn't do it' narrative. If he did do it, I'll be sure to bring that up whenever there's a convo about Peyton, good or bad. Just like the media does to other athletes.

      gabrielgrissom

I think its be that there coming after Peyton...you mean to tell me after all this time when there starting to come after him with all these negative reports that they just found this out now... This is the most ridiculous thing they did since this woman threw derrick rose for rape when he had a torn acl

  14. Anyone know good video game forums? Apparently Operation Sports consists of ban happy Mods. Just got banned for mentioning Joe Montana Football 16 for no reason. So yeah... need a new video game forum to go on.

Xboxachievement.org. Seems good for me. Lookin forward to forza 6, Tomb Raider and Mad Max the most.

  15. At some point, you have to look at the scheme and play calling of the defensive coordinator. Wade Phillips has done wonders for Denver in just four games plus they switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and are this good. That proves a DC change can do us wonders.

Getting healthy at a great time. There won't be enough game tape for opponents to see how we use them.

  19. Both Dez Bryant and Thomas got identical contracts. Gostkowski just got a 4 year $17M deal from Patriots. Think Tucker would accept that?

Just so you know too, Brady actually winds up with a RAISE the way the restructure was done so don't be acting like he's some Saint.

^^ his apparent raise is still under the cap and price tag of what he is actually worth though by a decent amount.

      ravensdfan

lol as the next article states - skip the sainthood - it helped both sides but Brady gave up nothing.

  21. Caught In The Draft 2004 is interesting. If Giants hadn't traded for Eli, they would have took Big Ben and we wouldn't have had to deal with him for the last decade.

Steel sharpens steel. Those battles of attrition with Ben contributed to our 5 years of success leading up to our Super Bowl title. Now they're soft we're soft.

I agree. It's not about the money, it's about sending a message. Everything burdens the game

  23. Congrats to the Flaccos!

  24. Crazy that Anthony Davis' 5 year $145M deal is worth $29M a year. If you didn't watch the NBA, you think he was an all pro NFL QB with that kind of money. Crazy to think Luck and Wilson may get a very similar contract.

    1. Orange_Peanut

      Orange_Peanut

The NBA signed a massive $24 B TV deal this year while the NFL has a $27 B contract in place. The NFL has a cap for a 53 man roster while its just a 15 man roster in the NBA. Until the NFL renews their TV contract in 2022, I don't think NFL teams will be shelling out that much money... just yet. Anyways, Davis is a beast and deserves that money. He's going to be the best player in the league in a couple of years.

    2. ravensnick

      ravensnick

Davis is probably the third best all around player in the NBA after Lebron and Durant

  25. David Stern is leaving the NBA, Bud Selig is leaving MLB... Your Move Goodell.
