  1. To Rex Ryan, take a lesson from Snoop Dog, just lay down and don't try to prove anything by winning against the Jets.

  2. I'll get it started...... Bring Pagano home this off season. Our defense needs a make over and it's time to make it #ChuckStrong once again.

I would honestly have to agree with that. I loved Pagano as a defensive coordinator because he just got it with the players. Truly a players coach on defense.

Yeah sadly I don't see it happening but one can dream.

I don't know why he'd want to come back. Just like how Rex Ryan would never come back, not that I'd really mind him not coming back.

  3. Our depth at WR is going to make training camp interesting next year. Aiken & Marlon Brown are RFA so they will be back. Daniel Brown, Jeremy Butler and Chris Matthews are ERFAs. Givens being the only UFA WR. Plus Clay is a ERFA so for another two years we get a low costing yet great returner.

I dunno. We talken about our "depth at WR" before this season. Didn't turn out too well. We need to draft someone great.

FA/trade seems to be the better route than draft. I doubt we just go in with these guys though.

I think the Ravens might just release Marlon Brown. He did nothing this year, and lost playing time to guys that weren't even on the team at the beginning of the year.

  4. Anyone have thoughts on Peyton Manning being linked to HGH and using it during his recovery in 2011?

Of course he is not going to regain all of his velocity after that injury. But without hgh he would never have played again. I agree the story should never have surfaced because the dude needed hgh for healing purposes so he could play again. It is not cheating!! When a player has surgery to repair an injury and the surgery wasn't available 40 yrs ago, is it called cheating because the players 40 yrs ago did not have the surgery?? HGH has very little effect on muscle growth unless...

Won't say if Peyton took them or not but NFL.com sure made him look guilty trying to deflect controversy onto a handful of other athletes instead of just sticking with the 'he didn't do it' narrative. If he did do it, I'll be sure to bring that up whenever there's a convo about Peyton, good or bad. Just like the media does to other athletes.

I think its be that there coming after Peyton...you mean to tell me after all this time when there starting to come after him with all these negative reports that they just found this out now... This is the most ridiculous thing they did since this woman threw derrick rose for rape when he had a torn acl

  5. NFL made it up to the Packers for Fail Mary on Thursday. Tonight, they made it up to Dallas for Dez's catch/no catch. You owe us 3 games, get on it NFL.

      Tank 92

Did they give Dallas something last night?

    2. 52520Andrew

      52520Andrew

I think Dallas will trade a win last night for a win in Green Bay any day of the week. The only thing that makes up a playoff loss to me is a playoff win.

  6. This day just keeps getting worse. Gabbert finds Torrey Smith wide open for the game winning TD. Smith blew past him... I miss his speed.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

If Perriman was healthy, I wouldn't be.

  7. Ray Lewis - 26th Pick. Ed Reed - 24th Pick. Marshal Yanda - 86th Pick. Flacco - 18th Pick. Webb - 88th Pick. Pitta - 114th Pick. Brent Urban - 134th Pick. Timmy Jernigan - 48th Pick. Brandon Williams - 94th pick. Point being... we can find great players in any round so please stop complaining that winning will ruin our draft spot.

The same people that say it does not matter what draft spot the ravens are in are the same people defending Ozzie's inability to find pro bowl talent because of the ravens later draft positions. It's about getting a plug and play player. This isn't a deep draft to begin with. When you watch Bosa take the NFL by storm and the ravens end up with a slightly better than average player or yet another Elam or upshaw hope you enjoyed the win in Cleveland. And allnthre homers will defend...

  8. I think I figured out why most here are more concerned with a top pick than winning out and getting to the playoffs. Just the idea of grabbing a top 5/10 player is so out of the ordinary that the first time we have that chance it's fascinating to us as fans. So wanting to lose out to ensure we get that player, is something that intrigues us enough where losing just becomes a positive. Also the fact, it may be a while before we get this opportunity at a top 5/10 player again.

I was all in on going on a playoff run up until joe went down to be honest. I will still root for them regardless but when we lose knowing that were headed for a top 5 pick softens the blow a bit.

    3. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

^January J, my thoughts exactly. I wanted to see us make a run, but i lost hope the moment we lost Flacco. I will never root for us to lose, but I won't be as sad....SO LONG as these players continue to fight. Some of these dudes are auditioning for next season.

    4. gabrielgrissom

      gabrielgrissom

I won't be mad if we wind up with a top 10 or 5 pick as long as we know what were doing with it... But knowing this team I would not be surprised if we lose tommorow then win in Miami next weekend and we have to still hope we can make the playoffs. That being said what would we use it with? Would we trade down? Would we take an OT RUSH DB or WR. I love Laremy tunsil but I'm binder the belief that he will be the top pick even if the browns get the top pick this year we all know they ha...

  9. When we beat the Chargers... Ray gave the team a pregame speech. We beat the Rams... Ed Reed gave the team a pregame speech. This truly shows we are missing a leader in the locker room. I believe if Suggs didn't get hurt, he would be that guy. Then when Suggs retires, we again have nobody. We need to find a locker room leader for 2016.

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

I think so as well, he's still only 23. CJ has come out of his shell a lot this year, in a few years I think Daryl is going to hand the defense over to CJ and he will hopefully run with it.

      reed20

Or just add Ray and Reed into the coaching staff!

    3. Dorota

      Dorota

My hopes are up for CJ. He'll get there eventually, with more experience and more commendations in his CV. Timmy Jernigan has some of Sizzle's sass, but not his leadership. He'll be the player we'll enjoy and other fans will love to hate. Ed Reed - it'd be great if he eventually made it into Ravens' coaching staff.

  11. This has just been the most unluckiest Ravens season I have ever seen. 2-7 but so close to being 6-3, 7-2, 8-1, etc.

    2. ravensdfan

I prefer to look at it as how close we are to being not just a contender, but a dominant team. A few pieces here and there will do it.

  12. For those who want Harbs gone, and for those who think we should move on from Joe. See the 49ers decline since we beat them in the Super Bowl as a reason why you don't run a good coach out of town, and why when you have a good QB.... you stick with him.

  15. How Ironic would it be that the Cubs lose the NLCS on Back To The Future Day.

  16. Anyone else get the Ray Lewis book? I bought it ahead of a book signing he is doing, but a few pages in it's already signed. Anyone else notice this?

  17. Marc Trestman... please go back to the CFL. Oh take Pees with you too. Finally, Irsay just go ahead and fire Pagano now so he can be on the next flight back to Baltimore. Thanks.

No Torrey, Daniels, given what Trestman has at WR we're fine there. Offense is far from the problem

    4. AsianRice

Trestman works with high school WRs and still score avg 20pts per game. Kubiak has Torrey and Daniel to work with.

  18. The pregame speech for this game should be simple. We are playing in the stadium that is hosting Super Bowl 50. Go out and win, and keep winning. Don't make this the only trip to San Francisco this season....

  19. I feel so bad for Flacco. He does everything he can to help us win, and we don't have a AJ Green/Dez Bryant/Julio Jones receiver but yet he makes it work with what we give him. Then he sits on the sidelines and watches Dean Pees give away so many games.

    1. DomMcRaven

      DomMcRaven

I mean, look at Dalton for crying out loud. Give Flacco those weapons and defense, we're 5-0 as well.

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Flacco is a contract that needs redone during the offseason. At some point, the man has to consider his options if this continues.

  20. At some point, you have to look at the scheme and play calling of the defensive coordinator. Wade Phillips has done wonders for Denver in just four games plus they switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and are this good. That proves a DC change can do us wonders.

    1. polynesian15

  22. Dear Mr. Biscotti, do the right thing and fire Pees. You stepped in and fired Cam when Harbs wouldn't, and we won The Super Bowl. Step in and save our season from being a complete "lose every game in the fourth quarter" disaster.

Scotti didn't fire Pees, it was Harbs. He did discuss it with Harbaugh but it wasn't his call.

      ravensdfan

I don't care who fired Cam and I don't care who fires Pees, as long as it happens. If this man is still here next season I will seriously have to think the FO is completely out of touch.

  23. Look at our schedule. 0-3 to the 6th Seed is entirely possible. Including winning the next three in a row against PIT, CLE and SF.

Ravens have no shot of Bosa unless they're a top three pick. That said, I would prefer missing the playoffs over being one and done at the 6th seed.

  24. Ok.... Looking at our schedule, we could very well end up picking inside the top 10 in the 2016 draft. After that brutal stretch, we aren't making it to the playoffs nor having a winning record. Not being negative, just stating facts.

If the colts fire Pagano I fully expect him be hired somewhere else by the end of the week. Not his fault the GM has given him nobody on the defensive side of the ball. Like what happened to Rex in NY
