  1. I'll get it started...... Bring Pagano home this off season. Our defense needs a make over and it's time to make it #ChuckStrong once again.

I would honestly have to agree with that. I loved Pagano as a defensive coordinator because he just got it with the players. Truly a players coach on defense.

      ravensdfan

Yeah sadly I don't see it happening but one can dream.

    4. BmoreBird22

      BmoreBird22

I don't know why he'd want to come back. Just like how Rex Ryan would never come back, not that I'd really mind him not coming back.

  2. Looks like we'll lose Caldwell. Time for the Principal(AKA Biscotti) to step in, over ride Harbs BFF choice for new OC and hire the right OC.

Don't pull the "switch with [insert terrible team here] and see how you'd like that". I am in no way claiming Harbaugh is "ruining the team". He simply has made small mistakes and when they are corrected we will not have a bottom 5 offense. Simple as that. I'm not trying to persecute him, I love Harbaugh.

    3. RavensAllTheWay

      RavensAllTheWay

Well saying he puts friends before winning could be implied as though he isn't doing what's in the best interest for the team, which could then be implied as "ruining." All I'm saying is, every coach in the NFL except Jason Garrett (who has people forced down his throat by Jerry) hires people they are familiar with.

    4. Chris K

      Chris K

I admit that was a bit much of me to say. However it doesn't seem like Harbaugh knows all the best people for the job, if that's the case.

  3. Has anyone wondered that our receivers coach could just be the issue of our receivers struggling? Please Steve, pay some money and get us a better WR coach.

Ummm... when they brought in Kubes... didn't they bring his with him?

    3. The Raven

      The Raven

Mom - No, they hired some guy from the college ranks who has NFL experience as a WR.

    4. The Mom Gene

      The Mom Gene

The Ravens hired Engram... The guy worked as an offensive assistant with the 49ers in 2011. Then in in 2012 and 2013, he was the wide receivers coach at the University of Pittsburgh. Before that, he was a wideout with the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs.

  4. Torrey and Anquan won Super Bowls with us and are now stuck on a team with poor management, constant bad decisions and looks like they will face a losing season ahead. They deserve so much better.

and then torrey turned down respectable contract offers twice, he bet on himself once, lost, and then turned down our next contract offer which supposedly was basically the same as the first one offered, and he turned that one down, for an extra 500k over 4 years in SF. they did it to themselves.

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Torrey IMO pulled every bit a Cundiff move on that last play. Just a wee bit of effort and it is at least not an INT. Oh well - be a loser in SF. See how you like it. Still have some Boldin love - perhaps it is more respect - but making the claim he'd retire a Raven before putting on another Jersey & then refusing a pay cut - kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. Another who will reap what he sowed.

    4. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

i dont have much love for boldin after that classless and desperate money grab. i still got love for torrey, but he boned us on that play by completely giving up and cost us a trip to the AFCCG and then ditched us for a small difference of money, and after CA income tax, he actually makes less than what he wouldve gotten by taking our deal. so yeah i feel they just chased a couple extra pennies and said to hell with baltimore

  5. I like Joe's playoff road record but for once can he set some HOME playoff records. Only 2 Home Playoff games in the Harbaugh-Flacco Era. Fix it for next season please.

that's this year. look at the QB caliber we faced. We don't get that next year - in fact, going back to what you said about things changing - it could be an even more difficult schedule than it appears right now.

    3. rmcjacket23

      rmcjacket23

And it could be an easier schedule... time will tell. A lot of the teams on our upcoming schedule have major question marks.

Based on what I see, what QBs are we really talking about here? Manning, Rivers and Wilson? That's even assuming Manning comes back, which he probably does. The rest of the list is basically mid-tier QBs, and ideally we will have an improved secondary by then.

The defenses figure to be better, sure. But you could argue that the offenses could...

Best was drafted in 2010, same year NFL started to really crackdown on concussions.

He doesn't have a snowballs chance.

The NFL has done everything they can do to cut down on concussions besides getting better helmets. All the time players talk about how the found better helmets. But at the same time Best had a concussion problem in college so he should have either looked into using these better helmets or left the NFL before he really got hurt like Ryan Swope did.

Won't say if Peyton took them or not but NFL.com sure made him look guilty trying to deflect controversy onto a handful of other athletes instead of just sticking with the 'he didn't do it' narrative. 24. I think I figured out why most here are more concerned with a top pick than winning out and getting to the playoffs. Just the idea of grabbing a top 5/10 player is so out of the ordinary that the first time we have that chance it's fascinating to us as fans. So wanting to lose out to ensure we get that player, is something that intrigues us enough where losing just becomes a positive. Also the fact, it may be a while before we get this opportunity at a top 5/10 player again.
