      Brady got his payday. All he did was change the upfront money meaning he is STILL getting his money. Flacco's cap hit is still reasonable for 2015. Pretty sure he will be fine with the same type of restructure in 2016 if the FO thinks it is needed.

      Helps us resign big names like revis though because 24 mil is freed up. Also money is only guaranteed if he is injured now as well.

      The offseason isn't even here yet. Why the Pats made this move now, IDK, but there was no reason to - it makes no difference whether they do it now or a few weeks from now. So there's still time for the FO to do so. Even still, his cap hit for next year is actually lower than this year's - doesn't start getting crazy until 2016.
