  1. Rumor is 49ers are looking at taking Mitchell Trubisky at 2, but as we get closer to the draft more smoke will be blowing and we won't know fact from fiction until Thursday Night. Bears could be high on Trubisky as well, seems to me the 49ers and Bears are trying to scare the Browns into passing on Garrett.
  2. Dejavu for the Bills. Last year the Patriots signed RFA Chris Hogan to a offer sheet, the Bills declined. This year, Patriots signed Bills RB Mike Gillislee to a offer sheet, Bills once again declined. 2 years in a row the Patriots have took RFAs from their AFC East rival. The Bills now receive the Patriots 5th round draft pick. Adam Schefter 3 mins · Facebook Mentions · Bills declined to match two-year, $6.4 million offer sheet that RB Mike Gillislee signed with Patriots, per source. Gillislee now a Pat.
  3. Looks like Adrian Peterson is going to find a home. The Saints and Peterson are closing in on a deal. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/356974/report-saints-closing-in-on-peterson-deal?ls=roto:FA:topheadlines
  4. Add me on the Cam Robinson hate if he becomes our pick. If we take a OL, take Lamp and get our franchise center for the next 10-15 year's. Whether we take Lamp at 16 or trade down and still land him, regardless I hope it's Lamp. With The Sun saying we want to build a line similar to Dallas, I do think OL will be the pick Thursday night. Just hope someone takes him before us or a team like the Broncos, or Giants jump us to ensure Robinson is not there at 16.
  5. Days before the draft...... how stupid can you be. 2017 Draft Prospect Caleb Brantley was arrested for punching a woman. So now he's guaranteed to go undrafted and be treated like Rice and Greg Hardy. NFL career done before it begins. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/23/florida-draft-prospect-caleb-brantley-arrested-for-punching-a-woman/
  6. I like next year's QB class better and would wait on Darnold or Josh Rosen. Though Darnold may take the Luck route and stay for his degree and wait for 2019. Though I guess it would be a Browns thing to do and take quarterbacks in bad years opposed to taking them in the years quarterbacks are actually good.
  7. That moment when your agent has to keep your draft stock up after injury reports..... From John Ross' agent:
  8. This is sure to make things interesting if this is true. La Canfora reports that the Browns coaches want Garrett, but owner Jimmy Haslam is pushing for the first pick to be a QB. He says Haslam "badly" wants a QB and the last time Haslam pushed a QB draft decision, in 2014. When the Browns moved up to infamous pick 22 and drafted Johnny "Party" Manziel. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/356912/cle-coaches-want-garrett-owner-wants-a-qb?ls=roto:CLG:topheadlines
  9. So.... what all games is everyone planning to go to? Got my stuff together for my trip to Nashville for the Titans game but debating which home game I want to go to this year.
  10. We waited 12 years between 2000 and 2012 before we won our second, so 5 isn't that bad but it is recent. As someone else mentioned, try being fans of other teams who haven't won a Super Bowl, let alone being a Browns fan.
  11. Falcons looking to move up and take a pass rusher. If they jump ahead of us and take who we would have took..... Then good for them on blowing the Super Bowl.
  12. Steelers get 2 Christmas Day games in a row. They play the Texans Dec 25th at 4:30p.m, with the night contest being a SNF game being between the Raiders and Eagles. So on the bright side, with the Eagles playing on Christmas that means we get to see Eagles fans throw snow balls at Santa Claus again. Though at least we are one of only 2 games being played on the 23rd. Colts/Ravens kicks off at 4:30 with the Packers hosting the Vikings at 8:30p.m.
  13. I'm just wondering if by week 5 Carr will be back in rhythm and be the gun slinger that he is or if we'll face him early enough that he hasn't got into that rhythm yet. At the least, the city of Oakland will be too mad at the team to probably show up so it might not be a true home field advantage.
  14. Gave us a bye just before traveling to Green Bay so we'll have 2 weeks to prepare for Rodgers' hail mary but somehow still fail at protecting it like every other team.
  15. I know right..... Is there some rule in the league office that states we have to play the Bengals in week 17? At leeast this time they let it be in Baltimore.... but man facing the Steelers coming off that long road trip to London followed by going to Oakland, then back home for Chicago. Could have at least switched Raiders and Bears so we had 2 straight home games coming off London. Home MNF Game? Put your bets down now, we are winning the Super Bowl. Just saying, last time we had a home MNF we went on to win the Super Bowl. So I fully expect a 9-2 start, then a meltdown to barely win the division then January Joe takes us to Minnesota. *End Sarcasm*
  16. Cleveland in week 2 again but hey this just means they get to go up 25 points on us at home then we come back and win.
  17. Possible, if some teams think his shoulders will be too much of an issue they will pass on him and he could fall to us. Though I would want us to take Sidney Jones in the second in the same way the Jags took Myles Jack. We have Carr for at least one year so we can red shirt him then see where he is at in 2018.
  18. Apparently the rumor mill is the 49ers and Bears are "antsy" to trade down(IE trying to drum up trade interest) so it wouldn't be far fetched to give it a shot. According to the draft value chart, we wouldn't have to give up too much. We have to give up 2 first round picks in order to do so. 2nd Overall pick is worth 2600 points, our 16th pick is only 1000. Doing the math, our 1st and second this year equates to 1430 points total, leaving us with 1,170 points to make up which we can do that by sending our 2018 first round pick to them. It would be pricey giving away our first next year but Garrett would be worth it to secure our future after Suggs.
  19. Considering we wanted to trade up for Mack back in 2014, what scenario or how far do you think Garrett when Cleveland passes on him for Trubisky is going to fall and if so, should we call the 49ers to move up from 16 to 2, or if the 49ers grab someone else(Fournette) do we call the Bears to move up to 3? Given we were willing to try to get Mack, I like to think we have the same will to do the same for Garrett when Cleveland passes on him. Thoughts?
  20. Might be us, Philly or Indianapolis. Maybe Washington as well. Thinking Corey Davis will be the pick unless he's gone then we trade down. Are 2 day visits rare?
  21. Patriots RFA CB Malcolm Butler has signed his tender, meaning he can now be traded which that is still an option on the table. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/356845/malcolm-butler-officially-signs-rfa-tender?ls=roto:NE:topheadlines
  22. I think he ends up going to Washington which is another bold prediction for myself. Followed by Kirk Cousins being traded to Houston for their first round pick giving the Redskins 2 first round picks in the draft. One to secure Watson as Cousins' replacement and the other on defense or OL.
  23. Andre Johnson will retire a Houston Texan as he will sign a one day contract with the team on Wednesday. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/17/andre-johnson-will-retire-as-a-texan/
  24. This is a major news out of the NFL office. After being given control of centralized replay in the new rule change, Dean Blandino has decided to up and leave the NFL to go work for FOX. Apparently the news came to a surprise to most at the league office, as Ed Werder of ESPN quoted someone as saying the move was "shocking" and nobody in NY even knew he was even considering leaving. Werder also said one of the reasons centralized replay was passed was because owners were confident in Blandino to do the job well and if the rule would have passed if they knew he was leaving. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/14/nfl-caught-off-guard-by-dean-blandinos-departure/
  25. The Carolina Panthers have come to an agreement with Franchised DT Kawann Short on a 5 year $80M deal. He gets $40M in the first two years so the Panthers have avoided the July deadline by a couple months. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/17/kawann-short-gets-long-term-deal-with-panthers/
