  1. Rams are shopping CB Trumaine Johnson and are in discussions with teams about acquiring him. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/355341/report-rams-shopping-trumaine-johnson?ls=roto:LAR:topheadlines With the Bills likely to look elsewhere, 49ers likely to land Kirk Cousins and the Jets not in the running for Glennon, the Bears are likely to land QB Mike Glennon. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/355334/bears-bidding-against-themselves-for-glennon?ls=roto:TB:topheadlines
  2. That's what I'm thinking too. I saw somewhere, I think Rotoworld posted that Wagner turned down a similar deal that Mitchell Schwartz signed. So I think he is gone and we are making one final push to keep Williams.
  3. Saves us $4.9M in cap space. Wonder if we are making one final push to keep one of Wagner/Williams.
  4. Confirmed
  5. Wagner is expected to "blow the lid off" the RT market per Rotoworld. He is projected to get $8M a year with his new contract. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/355290/report-wagner-will-blow-lid-off-rt-market?ls=roto:BAL:topheadlines So RTs are going to start getting paid as LTs? Insane.
  6. More bad news for ESPN. ESPN's next round of layoffs will include on-air personalities. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/report-espns-next-round-layoffs-161500192.html
  7. Baltimore Ravens WR Ted Ginn Jr. 2 Stars
  8. I just wish we take a different approach going forward. Sign guys before they become free agents, if we plan on letting them go then fine. But at least sign the guys you want long term before they hit the market. Jernigan and Mosley are up next year and I want us to take the money we would have used on Williams/Wagner and lock those 2 up before this season.
  9. New report suggests AP would take a discount to play for the Patriots. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/355268/report-ad-would-consider-discount-for-pats?ls=roto:MIN:topheadlines
  10. Vikings LB Chad Greenway to announce his retirement tomorrow. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000790754/article/minnesota-vikings-linebacker-chad-greenway-to-retire
  11. Says the guy who said Orr was getting a contract extension, but Orr ended up retiring.
  12. Don't get caught into the hype of all these other defensive backs available for trade. Over here in Baltimore you can have yourself a DB that can do it all. Did you miss out a CB? Then Lardarius Webb is the perfect candidate for you. Did you miss out on the Safety you wanted? Well he can play Safety too! All I'm looking for is a couple mid round picks, 5.5 Stars down and Webb is all yours! But wait.... There's More! If you act now you can have TE Nick Boyle for a low round pick and a RB or two may also be added to my current inventory. So don't wait... PM me now!
  13. In what world is Mike Glennon worth $14-$15M a year? That's the reports coming out saying he will get close to the bench mark that Osweiler set last offseason. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/355210/report-glennon-to-command-$14-15m-per-year?ls=roto:TB:topheadlines
  14. Wow..... boy did the Saints GM allow himself to get ripped off. 2 late round picks and Geno Atkins? In real life the Saints are likely to get a first round pick for Cook. Unbelievable.
  15. The fans are to blame for what happened tonight at Fast Lane. If the fans stopped demanding big names return Kevin Owens doesn't get squashed in under 30 seconds. WWE fans need to start supporting current talent, buy their merchandise, wear their t-shirts. Don't buy any part time superstar merchandise. Don't beg for someone to return. Support the current guys, in which the whole Attitude Era doesn't happen if Vince thought like this back then. Hogan wouldn't have went to WCW, no NWO formation because Vince would have let Hogan win the title and never show up for months. Rock, Austin, Bret Hart, HBK, HHH, all those guys and stars of the Attitude Era never become stars and jobbed to Hogan and Savage, maybe even Ric Flair who wouldn't have went to WCW in 1992 if he could win the title and go home for months before defending it.
  16. That's because Oakland isn't the same Oakland that he would have signed with and gone nowhere with. They also had the cap because they haven't committed nearly most of their cap to Carr and Mack yet. Also I point you to this article on PFT where they show over paying FA never wins in the NFL. How teams who get the most compensatory picks are always consistent winners. So in hindsight, unless they both land in New England, both are throwing away chances at a Super Bowl and being on a winning team. If that holds true, then Williams/Wagner will continue the trend and join teams that never win after over spending. Tampa is the only team with plenty of cap room that I see similar to Oakland where they could sign and be on a team on the rise and heading into the right direction. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/02/24/compensatory-picks-are-a-reward-for-smart-teams/
  17. QB Free Agency tomorrow then... the Draft next Sunday?
  18. Redskins OLB Trent Murphy faces a 4 game PED Suspension. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/05/trent-murphy-faces-four-game-ped-suspension/
  19. Both Williams and Wagner will sign with teams with no chance of Super Bowl hopes. Hope trading a shot to win the Lombardi for money is worth it. If anything use this money to lock up Mosley and Jernigan to cement 2 solid pieces of the defense for years to come.
  20. If more emphasis will be on the run game then we need to find a FB like Leach who is great at run blocking. Whether it's FA or the draft, that's the type of FB we need.
  21. I just want to get Wagner done before FA starts this week. Need some consistency on the line, you think Wagner's agent would agree to a deal similar to what Russell Okung got from Denver? Essentially a one year deal with an option that if we use it, it activates a 4 or 5 year extension which obviously we would turn down.
  22. Whatever you do New Orleans, trade Brandin Cooks to Philly or Tennessee. Actually preferably Philly since we play Tennessee this year but no matter what, do not send him to New England. Do not take part in helping the Patriots win. So apparently, the Patriots offered the 32nd pick in this year's draft in exchange for Cooks. It's more likely he ends up in Philly and Tennessee considering they have higher first round picks than New England and the Saints could use 2 first round picks in the top 20 to get center pieces moving forward. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/04/report-patriots-offered-32nd-pick-for-brandin-cooks/
  23. A Wild @theFRANCHISE appeared... OUT OF NOWHERE! Haven't see you on here in a long time. Thank goodness Triple H has a right hand man who hopefully replaces Kevin Dunn when Vince steps down. From NXT, the Cruiserweight Tournament to the UK Title Tournament, everything feels so different under a Triple H produced show. Even Michael Cole who is terribly over produced by Vince/Dunn on RAW sounded better than he ever sounded in recent years when calling the UK Title Tournament. Plus Triple H hates having 3 hour RAWs, it's amazing how in tune he is with the fans. Summertime apparently before Summer Slam is what I hear. Hopefully Cesaro, Sami Zayn and Rusev go to SD. Cesaro has suffered from poor booking for years. Bray Wyatt suffered since his debut until he was on SD where he had a writing team that could book him properly. Rusev could be a monster heel but I don't think they know how to use him. Zayn is the next Daniel Bryan, the biggest underdog overcoming the odds to make it to the top. I would like to see NXT involved where Regal could draft guys that aren't being used on RAW & SD and repackage them and give NXT some star power and name recognition.
  24. Adam Schefter with more on the Reuben Foster story: Grew impatient? Oh boy. That screams penalty flags all day and fines/suspensions galore. If he got impatient at a hospital worker, what is he going to do on the field? Sounds like he'll be Vontaze Burfict 2.0 so keep him out of our division to anyone ahead of us.
