  1. With the 24th Pick in the 5th round, the Baltimore Ravens Select.... Richie Brown ILB Mississippi State
  2. About to make my pick now.
  3. My picks are in, let's move this draft forward!
  4. With the 16th Pick in the 5th Round, The Baltimore Ravens Select Shaquill Griffin CB Central Florida
  5. With the 15th Pick in the 5th Round, The Baltimore Ravens Select Jeremy McNichols RB Boise State
  6. Here's a little video of a preview of the Raiders new $2 Billion stadium that will be completed by 2020. It's quite impressive.
  7. About time I was on the clock again. I'll make both in a bit.
  8. From NFL Memes: NFL Memes 4 hrs · FUN FACT: Following the Oakland Raiders move to Las Vegas, the largest remaining city in the United States without a professional football team is now Cleveland.
  9. Officially 8 new rules have been approved, 4 new bylaws and 1 new resolution. 8 Rules: - Can no longer leap over OL on Kick Attempts - Spot after touchback remains at the 25 yard line - Gives a Receiver running a pass route defenseless player protection - Rule that disqualifies a player for 2 personal fouls is now permanent - Crackbock blocks done by a player in the backfield in motion are prohibited. Even if he is 2 yards outside the tackle when ball is snapped. - Sideline replay monitor replaced with hand held device and final say is made from New York. - Unsportsmanlike conduct will now be called if you commit multiple fouls during the same down designed to manipulate the game clock. - Makes actions to conserve time illegal after 2 minute warning of any half. (I assume this means like what we did against Cincy and not something stupid where you can no longer run out the clock) By Law Proposals Approved: — Liberalizes rules for timing, testing, and administering physical examinations to draft-eligible players at a club’s facility for one year only. — Changes the procedures for returning a player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non-Football Injury or Illness to the Active List to be similar to those for returning a player that was Designated for Return. — The League office will transmit a Personnel Notice to clubs on Sundays during training camp and preseason. Resolution Proposal: — Permits a contract or non-contract non-football employee to interview with and be hired by another club during the playing season, provided the employer club has consented. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/28/owners-approve-8-new-rules-4-new-bylaws-1-new-resolution/
  10. Overtime is going to stay the same for 2017, the proposal to shrink OT to ten minutes was tabled and no word on when this will be revisited. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/28/nfl-tables-proposed-shrinkage-of-overtime/
  11. So Harbs confirmed the rumors as being true and that teams are interested in acquiring Jernigan. Value must not be good enough because we haven't traded him yet.
  12. Justin Tucker be like... Now you pass it after his streak got ruined because of that move. Also automatic ejections for egregious hits to the head was passed as well. Wish they could have added coaches can challenge it as we've seen in the past where refs have stupidly called hits to the heads when a player was hit in the shoulder instead.
  13. Jason Witten signed a 4 year extension through 2021 with the Cowboys.
  14. Am I the only one who thinks its funny that these mayors of teams who relocate always come out and say they are disappointed with the move. That they are disappointed in the NFL, when in fact they only say that to make themselves look good and the NFL look bad. How many years did they have to secure new stadium deals in the past? Yet they always wait for the last minute to try to do something. That'a part of why teams leave in the first place, no support from said city.
  15. I think it's time the NFL to open expansion back up, yeah figuring out conferences, divisions and playoff format with new franchises will be a giant hurdle but expansion to new cities is better than cities losing teams. Vegas and LA could have had expansion teams, not taking teams from their old cities.
  16. So because he renovated the stadium he voted no? Or is he against the move using taxpayer money to build a stadium?
  17. I wonder why the Dolphins voted against it, be interested in finding out why
  18. So a Bears CB and a Packers CB walk into a bar. Bears CB Deiondre Hall and Packers CB Makinton Dorleant were arrested on Saturday Night for interference. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/26/bears-packers-cornerbacks-both-arrested-in-iowa/ So Roger Goodell is now arresting players for committing interference? He's lost it.
  19. Bills GM Doug Whaley may be on the way out. Since they hired Scott McDermott as HC, they haven't gotten along. The decision to keep Tyrod was McDermott's not Whaley is just one example. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/356285/just-matter-of-time-until-bills-axe-whaley?ls=roto:BUF:topheadlines
  20. Webb says "double digit" teams have told him that he's a first round pick. So be interesting to see where he ends up in the real draft. Think he could end up like Derek Carr and be a steal for someone in the second round.
  21. Even I usually am a lot more excited playing this game but this year. I don't know if its because of limited activity or what but I feel the game is almost at the point of run its course. Or maybe the board closing has something to do with it, it doesn't have that feel to it like it has in the past. I hope on the new board we can revive this game next year and make it what it has been in years prior.
  22. Trade talks between Broncos and Browns could see Joe Thomas heading to Denver. http://broncoswire.usatoday.com/2017/03/20/joe-thomas-trade-agent-denver-broncos/
  23. Not saying I wouldn't want it to happen if we can pull off a second or third round pick for him. He won't net us a high round comp pick so if we can trade him for higher than the compensatory pick we would have got, then awesome job Ozzie.
  24. LombardI also said the Seahawks were open to trading Richard Sherman. I doubt his credibility as he's never broken any big news before.
  25. Since the league annual meeting is coming up, some details have been released about proposed changes and officials no longer will determine the outcome of a challenge. Won't list everything here but just click the PFT link to see all what is being suggested for the upcoming season. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/23/nfl-to-consider-15-new-rules-6-new-bylaws-3-new-resolutions/ Now for the fun part... Roger Goodell has said that Dean Blandino, yes his right hand man will have FINAL SAY on replay reviews. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/23/roger-goodell-dean-blandino-will-have-final-say-on-replay-reviews/
