when you get upset in a battle you not going to remember everything....it's easy to blackout when you really fired up. anyways jay said words first...and he only responded so i wouldn't consider that having words with someone unless i was firing off insults as well. telling jay to shut up and mind his own business on his sideline ain't going off imo.

I like this steve smith with flacco and he's being positive towards teammates and is encouraging others..... but he undermined cam newton and couldn't finish out in Carolina. he's recently reformed and that's simply because he sees the end of the road. I liked his skills back in the day....but he wasn't usually a good teammate.

plus rice will have a hard time coming back because people can't separate the football player from everyday ray rice. these football players are not larger than life. ever since i can remember my father was like they are just entertainers and JUST ENJOY THE SPORT and always be your own man. That is a parents responsibility to be roles models....role models are for lazy guardians imo! i care zero what goes on behind a players doors unless it affects my money or life. if rice needed to eat children the opponents children like mike tyson....then so be it. I just need the player on the field and not to get caught breaking the law.

that's why player deserve more money compared to before....cause organization don't ride or die with you anymore. since 2010 everyone is offended by everything and all big companies walk on egg shells. i'm tired of everyone being offended now in days.....annoying!

1. there are feminist organization....not such thing as childist organization. 2. people are comfortable with beating children if need be....it doesn't go against a society undercurrent. women have impunity in scenario that is physical with a man by the undercurrent of society. 3. Rice said his wife struck him and he struck her back...but the last video showed it as a one sided affair. so no...we didn't know what happened that caused rice to strike his wife. but, it was already case closed to people that feel a woman has complete domain over a man like the queen of england.

fought teammates in practice, had issue with jake delhomme, and undermined cam newton, lol. dude hides behind passions for the game like many team cancers any sport. steve smith had a long history of doing more criticizing than up-lifting teammates. we got the Steve Smith that appreciates the moment and that is willing to help young guys much more.....and the fact that we have a proven system along with a proven qb helps.

Lee Evans dropped that pass....and as a rookie flacco threw that interception against the steelers that should have been avoided....we missed out on a couple trips by simple mistakes. and then last year we got cheated by the pats formation/eligiblbes/substitution wise in addition to deflated balls.

Yeah me too...which was the joe flacco era, lol!!! Would not like to have seen him during the kyle boller era cause Steve Smith has had team cancer issues. we sent Ed Reed offright as well! ed reed had just spent a little more money than ray lewis so he needed an extra check. i feel like he could get us to the playoffs and that's what is important as a franchise if we do not win it all. we don't have flashy guys, so we have to get respect by being in the playoffs every year. if we get a couple more rings we can have an off year here and there and still get benefit of the doubt.

it just takes a certain level of planning. we saw Philly have some success with Sanchez when Foles went down. Chip seems like a cross t's and dot i's guy that will let his backups get burn since he runs practice faster. if the NFL had a bench vs bench game...i'd trust Chip Kelly to win since he doesn't ignore members of the team.

looks like we will address it. we keep rolling dice with flacco and that can be dangerous. every year we don't make the playoffs hurts our franchise until we get some more superbowl rings and can afford a couple of off years like the steelers without losing respect.

I hope so. we play in the AFC North and it's rolling dice imo guaranteeing a player will suit up every game. And from a personal standpoint I feel like we can't take season off as our franchise is still fighting for respect in the media plus fans. If steelers have a bad couple of years....no love is lost for them. Ravens string together a couple of bad seasons like 2007 and we are a joke franchise.

Yeah, Nature of the game. But sometimes I feel like it's done wrong...even though the salary cap plays role. Without a salary cap we would have Tom Brady and Peyton Manning on a New York team that would be hoarding away/stock piling talent.

Maybe it's the college game....but they got it done with the 3rd string at Ohio state. Since you can't hand pick in the NFL and must draft I understand...but I feel like we could be more talented in the backup spot. don't you think we could bring in a vet? Flacco is comfortable enough not to feel threatened...but we like having young guys at the number 2 QB spot for some reason. The odds can't keep being in our favor.

Peyton Manning! Make a trade for him and let him backup Flacco/ coordinate the offense. It would be legendary to have no offensive coordinator. Just Peyton Manning and Flacco coming up with stuff!
