  1. I still say Ozzie puts way too much stock in these 4th/5th rounders. If you're guy is sitting there in the 1st round and you only have to give up a 4th or 5th to get him, then do it. We could have had Ramsey last year and he wouldn't part with the pick to get him. We ended up with the 3rd best lineman in the draft despite having the #6 overall pick.

I agree with a lot of this but I assume the team we tried to trade up with last night would have wanted a 3rd rounder

  2. I wish Harbaugh's seat would get hot but his leash is far too long for him to actually have much worry. A situation where all his past successes will probably hinder our future ones. I would bet he gets another year at the least regardless of how poorly this season ends. It's a shame that two straight weeks he makes the poor decision to go for it on 4th downs rather than utilizing the best kicker in the league and giving us the best chance to win at the end of games. It's a bigger shame that not many people (and no writers on this site) talk about how poor the decisions have been due mostly to how many other mistakes have served as a scapegoat to his coaching performance, like penalties and injuries. Bottom line is, regardless of how many other mistakes we've made in these games, Harbaugh has blown the most important in game decisions for two straight weeks, yet he'll remain one of the safest guys in the organization.

I don't see why they cant have him out there with a cast on and just running routes and catching with his good hand. At least he be getting time with Joe.

Well, I think we can all agree the injury is quite absurd, but after all the time Pitta has already missed, I'm sure the coaches know that risking further injury would be ill-advised. Also, he probably has better chemistry with his best buddy Flacco than anybody else on the roster, so they aren't overly concerned with the extra reps before he's fully healthy. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they place him on PUP-designated to return to make room for a guy like Jeremy Butler, although I hope they'll both be in the team's plans for week 1.

I'm not saying Stanley, Correa, and Kaufusi are not good players. My expectation with the 6th overall pick was impact players. I looked at plenty of mocks, big boards. No one had Correa better than Spence. Every playoff team and contenders have a Beast. Top notch players that you scheme for if your facing them. JJ Watt, Antonio Brown, AJ Green, Gronk, Von Miller, Dez Bryant, Richard Sherman, Adrian Peterson, etc... Who do you Ravens have that would scare you if you were the other team? Our best players are over 30 years old. This draft was supposed to add one of those type players. I don't see it.

Both Mel Kiper and Todd Mcshay had Correa ranked higher than Spence in their final "big boards". NFL Network's Mike Mayock and Daniel Jerimiah had him ranked 8 and 5 spots behind Spence, respectively. Add in the fact that the character concerns between the two are night and day, and I think they made another safe pick in the end.
