  1. Want to improve, need to grind with the WRs before or after practices but I'm certain there is CBA language that would not allow QBs and WRs to do such. IMHO, pro athletes are paid way too much money to not work on their craft. The offseason player development programs also slow down the players ability to grow and prosper. Football is violent - I get that but there is too much money paid in sports entertainment to not work. All of us non-athletes who work daily, hey, we grind until we get it right and accomplished or get fired. It doesn't appear this is happening with the Ravens offense or defense. Joe, hold a passing camp during the off-season!!
  2. Not into Star Wars, but I guess with the Ravens at 1-5 they've caused me to lose my sense of humor when it comes to them. Revenge of the Smith is very good! We've already made winter vacation plans that includes being out of the country during the final two games this season. That would have never happened this soon! The Mrs. was shocked I agreed to such - Now that's funny!!! Agreed - May the Force Be With Us!!! LOL!
  3. Die hard fan but regarding the comments in the article of the Ravens beginning to win more this season because of more home games.....right!!!! We have a great media machine that hypes this team too much to keep the ticket and merchandise sales up obviously. BLUF: The proof is in the won/loss column and we fans see the type of team we have and right now it isn't very good and it doesn't appear to be getting any better each week Could it change? Yes, but in all likelihood it won't. A 6 game win season is a stretch at this point.
  4. Unfortunately, WR corps needs an overhaul. If we're going to trade for another WR, I hope they go after a proven, explosive game-changer who will become the #1 WR after SSS retires. Gives Perriman time to develop as second fiddle. I know it's against the Oz's way of thinking for the most part but with mid-round picks stocked it's time to make that move that will last for 3-5 years at that position. I don't think they will do it. Aiken and Brown: average but just don't see them developing into game changers - no speed or explosiveness at all in their game. We haven't seen it since they arrived and therefore, it doesn't exit. Go RAVENS!
  5. Good practice at M&T last night. However, my concern with depth is at QB. I don't see where Schaub can lead this team to the playoffs if Flacco is hurt. Media reports during the OTAs and mini-camp discussed his weak arm and it was noticeable last night: inaccurate and wounded ducks. Here's to our strong O-line keep Joe clean and upright this season! Let's get back to football! Go Ravens!!!
  6. Some make it onto the field and some don't. A Brown hasn't learned the defense fast enough and this isn't college, and we'll keep rolling with or without him! Special teams is were he can get on the filed if he accepts that role and ballout. Thus far he hasn't accepted it and performned accordingly. Even if someone gets hurt he may not be the next man up. I'm calling him a bust already (2nd rounder should have been playing last year, not sitting, regardless of the "couple of years to adjust" comments.) We don't have time to wait: Play Likea Raven or it's time to move on.
  7. Our o-line had better protect Flacco all season. I don't have much confidence in Matt Schaub with these interceptions during OTAs. He's HAD a very good career and despite his experience his arm and confidence is dead, thus his career is too!
  8. As a retired Army officer and former Master Fitness Trainer, none of Ray's or Steve Harvey's pushups would have counted for test and evaluation purposes. Ray failed to fully extend his arms at the top of his pushup and Steve failed to establish a generally level body position by keeping his butt in the air and displaying a V position throughout his pushups. It was good humor but both failed the Army standard! ROFLMBO!!!!!!! GO Ravens!
  9. Build that offensive line. If no o-line then it doesn't matter who the receivers and RBs are, the offense will go nowhere. Sign C Mack, but Oz may not want to do that given possible impact on comp picks, IL Smith (3 YRS w/2 guaranteed), and maybe add WR Smith for 1 yr. Draft a WR, S, and OL and play them to develop. In the end, I trust the Oz - few teams build competitive teams like we do: through the draft.
