A lot of good effort and plays were made by the team yesterday. I was so shocked I was outside raking leaves by the 4th quarter. I'm going to re-watch the game to ensure what I saw was real. First time in years I've woken up on a football Monday without being aggravated. The fellas in the trenches on both sides of the ball controlled the game. Good work.

He's a rookie who hasn't had a full training camp since college. He hasn't had any OTAs or mini-camp this year . Anything he provides this season is gravy. Joe isn't helping either.

As much as I'm frustrated by the lack of offensive support, this is our team, this is how we play, and this is who this team is. I've decided not to burn up any more energy on our challenges. We won. 1st place in the AFC North for another week. We've got a lot of work to do, but so do other teams. Go Ravens!

Duct tape for the offensive line. LOL! We couldn't run the ball when the line was 100% healthy and, unfortunately, we wasn't a very offense any phase either. This offense has peaked.

I think 5-1 is required for us to win the division and that's a very talk order for this team. 4-2 and we will need some help if we drop the Steelers game. We finish 3-3, let's grab our golf clubs. At this point, we know what type of team we have, despite all the improvements Coach says we've made. Whatever those improvements are haven't translated and that's a concern. If Dallas was a measuring stick as some have said, then it's confirmed we're a .500 football team and I don't see that getting us a division championship. Let's just see how this plays out.

My take aways: 1. We lost. 2. We're not a great team. We simply need better players with explosiveness and mental discipline. 3. 31 players on this team was in high school and college in 2012. 4. Coaching, game-planning, and in-game adjustments must improve. 5. We still control our destiny. Go Ravens!

We're .500 for a reason. We're just not that good. To be leading the division at this point and still in the hunt, I'll take it. I'm suspecting we will miss the playoffs because we're just not that good. Going 4-2 will be a major accomplishment and still may not be enough to make the playoffs at 9-7. The playoffs have started!

Good morning. Needless to say, very disappointed. It was a winnable game like all the previous ones. Our offense didn't sustain their drives due to various reasons. It's simple: we're one of the best mediocre teams in the NFL right now. Are the Ravens elite and put fear into the enemy? No. Is Flacco elite? We know the answer to that question too, but 2/3rds of the league would like to have him. We're 5-5 and tied for 1st place in our division and control our destiny. Can we do the job and win 4 of 6 of the remaining game to have a shot at the division? 5 of 6 would certainly win our division. Our current history says, we're likely to finish 8-8. We may not like it, but this beats being out the playoff hunt at this stage of the season!

Don't get schematically crazy. Keep it simple and execute. Bracket Dez and keep their offense in front of the defense. Hold ground and tackle! This will come down to defense and special teams. Let's go 1 and 0 this week Ravens!

It's been a challenging season to say the least as we plug leaks and make adjustments, but let's keep chopping wood one week at a time. With our defense and special teams, all we need is each to score and we can beat Dallas. We may not like it but playing '00 style football can still win games. The defense played well until the 4th quarter. When they switch the "Swiss Pees" defense of "prevent/bend but don't break", we effectively become soft and lose our killer instinct. I despise it. After 8 games, we know what type of team we have. We will go as far as the defense will carry us, shades of 2000.

So this makes us better after the bye? Looks like an even swap. I guess Davis will be signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

I'm amazed there's a discussion about the next 5 games. With all our faults, we need to be focused on righting the ship and winning next Sunday. Let the future come later.

Even when healthy, the oline wasn't physical or dominant and Flacco was still under siege. We're paying Flacco $120M+ and he hasn't improved and can't or won't audible. It's going to be an interesting November real quick.

I love Sizzle but I'm not sure getting all these players back will really change things. We were barely winning with the team at full strength. I think we're too reliant on players who are simply too old.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. It doesn't matter who the back is if the oline simply can't block and physically move others backwards. They thought it was Forsett. They thought it was Trestman. Wrong conclusions for both it seems! Did the blocking scheme change from the style Kubiak implemented? If so, maybe that's a major symptom and it's possibly too late to relearn or they just too stubborn. Whatever it takes, figure it out.

Harbs talking about Jernigan got full of himself. Really Coach? We fans could say the same about the decision-making and inability/refusal to adapt schemes. When will you speak to oline deficiencies and the $100m+ QB who has the worst fundamentals I've ever seen from an "elite" QB who can't or won't audible or call his own plays? $100m+ to be a robot? I believe there are some serious issues in the Castle and it's showing up on the field of play. Many fans have played sports and served in the military and one thing is for certain, how you practice is exactly how you play. Go Ravens!

As an avid golfer, yesterday during the 1st half I took a very hard look at how I spend my Sunday afternoons. At halftime I went to the golf course and enjoyed myself. This was never a consideration or even a thought before. I've concluded, weather permitting, I'll be enjoying Sunday afternoon walks on the golf course and, win or lose, will watch the games on DVR later. Go Ravens!!!

Well, it's said we won't know about this team until after 4-6 games. Bottom line up front: We've got a myriad of issues with this team that's been put together and possibly within the organization. There's some insanity surrounding this team and you know how they define insanity. I do know this, we as fans care too much. I will DVR the games and go enjoy the Sunday afternoons on the golf course. But still, "Go Ravens!"
