  1. Yea, Ngata was nothing like how he use to be and I feel more than confident with Williams, Jerrigan, and Co. The primary job of your d-lineman in the 3-4 is to stop the run and eat up blockers to allow your LBs to roam freely, sacks are a plus.
  2. If people still felt Ray could be a very productive RB, all these No's would be YES
  3. Don't ever sleep on the Steelers to the poster at the beginning of this thread. Their offense will possibly be a Top 10 offense and Big Ben is still one of the best at backyard football with Top 5 RB in Bell and Top 5 WR in Brown.
  4. Naw...... they both play with passion and fire so I wouldn't say one has more heart than the other.
  5. I have never seen or heard of a fan of any team happy or content that their offense is at least moving the ball into field goal range to get 3 points, lol. Guess some people rather try to survive the war than win it.
  6. Funny thing is if you gonna expect the the defense to get stops every time and show up in the fourth quarter and get stops every time.... guess what.... you have to expect the offense to score points every time and put points on the board in the 4th quarter every time. You have to hold both units to the same standard.....
  7. You really want to take pride in the fact that a offense moved the ball in field goal position? We not talking about TDs..... we talking about field goals!
  8. Exactly. When you factor in terrible field position and the points given up by our offense, the debate surely favors the defense in a major way. I wont even go into detail all the times the defense put the offense in great field position only to come away with either 0 points or 3. Our field goal kicker made the All Pro first team this season...... that tells you a lot right there. It's not a lazy argument, that's how football goes. If the O is failing to do their job and constantly putting the D in bad field position, the offense can affect how the defense plays in a major way. That's sports 1 on 1.
  9. Fact: The Defense faced more high powered offenses than our offense faced more stout defenses....... and our D still played better as a unit than our offense. Go look it up......
  10. Not necessarily true. With Ed IMO, it's more about him feeling like he's still one of the best in the game and he is still very important in the grand schemes of things. He had it on his mind that he wanted a certain price amount for his services not b/c he needs the extra million but b/c of the principal of that matter that he is still very important in the grand scheme of things. It was more of a pride issue and not giving him what he wanted hurt his pride.
  11. I doubt if Ed is playing for the money, I feel he is one of those Ray Lewis clone type of guys and he plays b/c the fire is still burning in him, the passion for the game. Ed still feels he has something in the tank and it cracks me up when people say he should have retired with Ray, for what? Ray came into the league like 7 years before him or something like that and it would be insane for Ed to retire at the same time Ray did considering that. One thing about the Free safety position, you have guys like Woodson ( both ), Sharper just to name a few that played well past their primes and were still effective. If anyone knows how to utilize Ed, it will be Rex. He wont ask him to play a lot of man or ask him to come up in the box to stuff the run every other play, he will let him do what he does best and that's play centerfield which in turn will make his scheme even better anytime you can play Cover 1 taking away the middle of the field. I feel Ed will make a great impact with the Jets.
  12. I won't be surprised to see Ed make a major impact playing for his old defensive coordinator teaming back up with Landry.
  13. Bring him home.
  14. Boldin shouldn't take a pay cut and when looking at how he underperformed in his 3 years being here, that was under Cam which we all agree didn't play to the strengths of our players, especially Boldin ( no slant's, drag's, etc.... ).
  15. Is this a serious thread or what, lol? Of course there are Ravens fans outside of Baltimore....... every team in the league has fans outside of their hometown.
  16. Dallas, Tx
  17. PSN: Rage-N_Raven Games are Madden 11, Socom 4, Fight Night Round 4..........
