On a side note, is it just me, or is this website really difficult to navigate on a Droid phone ? Every time I want to get on and make a comment it takes 2 to 3 minutes of clicking around from one thing to the next..! Some tines when I try to open the site, I just get this lame, welcome to the Baltimore Ravens page that does absolutely nothing ! I have to click back out of it and retry to open the app.

Are there going to be articles referencing everybody that is available in free agency from here on out? We don't have money unless we make room and we aren't making room quite yet. And why in the world would we need a RB anyway?

The only free agent story I want to read about is when Denver has another fax machine snafu and end up sending us Von Miller all wrapped up with a bow !

As much as the Squeeler's didn't totally SUCK last year, after all they did squeak into the playoffs, they must have absolutely hated that 40 percent of our wins, in a 5 win season, came at their expense !

if the ravens fail to go into free agency and get the players needed to compete in the division, look for the basement to be a permanent place in the afc north.

Partially agree and partially disagree.

1. The 2012 Ravens defense was nothing special. They were highly inconsistent and a lot of the "name" players on that team weren't major contributors. The offense was the best unit on that team.

2. I think we can and still will run the ball effectively, but it makes no sense to go back to a 2008 style running game. We need a balanced offense that plays to the strengths of everyone, and I think we are heading in the right direction there.

3. We need to improve on defense, no question. But we certainly don't need a Seattle/Denver level defense in order to win a SB. 

The goal in my eyes is to build a balanced team. Good on both sides of the ball, not necessarily great on both.

As true as all this is, anything less than shooting for the most dominant team we are able to produce, on either side of the ball, in my opinion is aiming too low.

Sort of like the bend but don't break philosophy !

If your sights are set on anything less than domination you end up chasing a playoff chances. Hoping for other teams to help you get into them. Sound familiar?

Last year I thought the same thing. I had a really strong feeling we would win the Superbowl. So strong, I put down $1,000 at 17:1 during preseason. Thinking how great it would be to cash in on $17,000 !
Well the rest is history in the books. I jinxed the team so bad that even Ironman Flacco went down ! I will never wager another dime on our team ! This should be enough to get us into the playoffs and win a Superbowl.
So go ahead guys. Now is the time to put your money down..!

Agreed. I would rather Joe is in the media because of ridiculously long running jokes, than many of the other less pleasant stories/headlines. I wish we could convince Joe he's not elite so he takes a really big pay cut this year. JK. Really, Joe is a Baltimore type guy. He's not pretty (though the girls loved his new haircut), he's not a glam queen (like Brady), and his accuracy leaves something to be desired, but he is nitty, gritty, in the dirt, on the fumble, play with torn ligaments, blue collar, stay in the pocket, lower his shoulder, take the hit yet still stand up and do it all again kind of QB. A perfect reflection of Baltimore.

My thought exactly! Joe is not the problem on this team.
I think something on a defensive coaching level needs to change! Maybe a couple solid receivers, a couple pass rushers and a ball hawk in the backfield ! This would go a long way twards getting us into the playoffs next year.

As much as its fun to look at our Defense of old and compare them with Denver 's defense of Superbowl 50, I would much rather see our defense returned to what it looked like back then. And talk about what needs to happen for that to take place.

Man... just how boring and daunting the Super Bowl weeks are when your team isnt involved... Nothing but news and "fun bits" of guys and teams you couldn't care less about if you tried...

The draft can't come soon enough.

Let's have some articles about how our team can get fixed.

I think there should be some articles regarding how well our coaching staff have coached up the players we have.
Our Defense hasn't looked very scary for some time now and we haven't heard much about what needs to be done to change it.
