I'm still scratching my head over the whole, Justin Tucker lining up to kick a left footed field goal !
I thought Harbs was a special teams specialist before coming to Baltimore... How he could sign off on that play is beyond me.
I actually like trick plays. But the object of them, is to trick the other team !
Your EGO will get you fired Coach !
Admit mistakes, learn from mistakes.
Fire Trestman...!
Put Pees on notice, "We need to get pressure on QB's "!
If you are a former special teams coach, come up with some better trick plays ! We didn't use any last year, and this year we are going to regress by making our kicker a lefty? Take a page out of Bill Belichick's playbook and get on YouTube to find best college trick plays...
Let's get it together Harbs.
The last thing I want to do, is to become a Skins fan, because you've run my once proud Ravens team into the dirt !
No one should fault Mosley, he was trying to make the most of the play...which is more than can be said of many other players on this team. If we had a functional offense, perhaps he would have opted to step out of bounds and let the offense punch in the routine TD. We all know, our offense would have likely settled for a FG even from that spot. Hence, I don't blame Mosley for going for it...just had a bad break. I can't even believe Harbaugh had the temerity to call him out for it...then again he's proven to be a master of deflection in his regrettable tenure here.
I agree completely with this. Harbaugh throwing Mosley under the bus, instead of focusing on his own blunders, is part of the problem with this offense. Look at the ineptitude of our Offensive Coordinator and fix that, so our linebackers don't have to try to save the day Harbs !
Come on Harbaugh, grow some marbles and own up to blowing a couple games for us, so we can move on. It takes a bigger man to admit fault and learn a lesson from something. And while you are at it, start looking for a replacement for O.C. Trestman/Cam Cameron 2.0...
The Rotting of this fish has to be stopped, at the head.
The O-Line should take some of the blame as well. Flacco is constantly pressured and it's leading to those inaccurate awkward throws. The run game looked good to start, but I'm sure West made a lot of that happen himself, and then just shut down.
I was optimistic about them gelling and putting up points. Now, I'm a little worried with 2 more games before the difficult part of schedule comes. If they don't figure out a way to make this offense function efficiently it's going to be a rough 2nd half of the season.
But I was a Ravens fan at 5-11 and I'll still be a Ravens fan with whatever record we end up with this season.
LET'S GO RAVENS!! IT'S NOT OVER YET!!Really, how about 3 and 11 ?
I meant 3 and 13 !

Ball out Waller !
I'm not a big fan of "Funk & Slump", as words to describe where a player is at in their abilities...
They are suggestive of something outside of a players control going on.
When in fact, on any given play a player can execute differently from the last play.
Broken down on a play by play level, fundamentals are all there really is !
1st things 1st -
Decide weather the ball is
1. Returnable
2. Fair catch is in order
3. Let it go into the end zone.
In cases of 1.or 2.
Secure the reception.
In case of option 1. Make first defender miss, look for seam and try to score a touchdown.
In option 2. Hold ball tight and kneel it.
In option 3. Fake defense into thinking you are trying to receive the ball, meanwhile letting it go over your head into the end zone.
None of this has anything to do with slumping or feeling funky..!
Put the last play behind and execute....
Let's go Boys !
Slump nothing !
Good sound fundamentals and effort alway trump superstition !
Just like next man up, next play up, is just as important.
Forget the last play and give it your all on the next play...
My thinking is we could help the secondary considerably with more pressure on throwing QB's ! If we are giving the 3 to 5 seconds to get rid of the ball it really doesn't matter who we have in the backfield.
Bend and break, works for a team that's up 2 or 3 scores, not late in the 4th quarter up by 6 points. Our D-line needs to be dominant and we need to be moving QB's off their game to make up for a weaker secondary.
Come - on Pees !
This will be your last year as a a Raven coach if you can't make this happen....What's so bad about our defense? Come on man, we're top five in the league! There was a lot of pressure on Pees during the off season, but he's probably the coach with the least amount of pressure on the team...are you sure you're not watching DVR'ed games from last season instead of this year's games? Sure, the secondary could always use more work, but they're not all that bad (we're among the leaders in fewest points allowed) and true the pass rush needs to be more focused, but it's night and day compared to last year...Sorry, but no team is going to be "perfect" in all phases, but I think it's head scratching to berate a defense that's been keeping us in all our games...
I'm not berating our D. I think our D looks much better this year !
I'm saying, when we have a secondary that's having a tough time, holding a QB like Carr in check, the job of a D coordinator is to make adjustments. Mostly to change the outcome of the game for the better. Look at Minnesota's blitzes. If we can't hold a 4th quarter lead over the Raiders, how are we going to fare against Steelers (twice), Bengals, Patriots and others ?

When they cut Monroe, I thought that may come back to bite us.
I guess I may have been right.
My question, if our Defense was so good, where were the hits on Carr ?
0 sacks makes for a long day for the secondary. Pees has got to dial up some different blitzes to help get QB'S off their game. The earlier in the game the better. That's the best way to effect a high powered offense.
What I missed most was seeing the game.
Washington and Cleveland were shown where I live.
We have an excellent offense !
What's needed is an excellent Offensive Coordinator, that knows what to do with excellent talent!
I hope Trestman schemes up some screen passes , or can get Joe moving the pocket around with some playaction, to keep him clean tomorrow. I was more than a little surprised when the Bills brought their blitzes, just like everyone knew Rex would have them do, and it didn't seem like Trestman had planned on countering with anything to make them pay for it.
It's so nice to see our back end not getting gouged every game for the late game loss ! Thank you for deciding to become a Raven instead of a Raider Eric Weddle. I very much enjoy watching the difference you are making on this team. Keep up the good work !
Oh Poor KO. He chased the money and I would imagine if he was really happy with his decision, he wouldn't be crying about it now. He had a choice, stay where you are comfortable and benefit in the long run with another super bowl win, or chase the money down a black hole, literally, THE black hole. Oakland is only surpassed in its failure by Cleveland.
Sadly, they almost always chase the money. And then, for a lot of them, it's gone within five years after they stop playing.
Paul Krugger, Torey Smith, Haloti Ngata and now KO.
They all took more money to go elsewhere.
Krugger got big money to go to one of the worst teams.
Torey got a little more $ than what the Ravens were offering and probably loses it all to taxes, living in California.
Haloti always wanted more money, so there isn't much mystery that he moved on, only talking about coming back after his deal is done in Detroit.
Now KO is salty about not being paid more than the Ravens could afford to stay where he said he wanted to stay !
In the long run I can see going somewhere else to make millions more. Just be willing to take the BAD with the extra money guys !
Worst Team, Higher taxes & bad team, Bad team and living in Detroit.
KO'S problem, I'm not quite sure of...
He got big $ and gets to live in Southern California !
I guess he just wants something to cry about.
Maybe Suggs can help him out with that this weekend...!
I thought all the Flacco babies were Capricorn, like Joe.
Those are some handsome little guys there, Joe & Dana!
I'll bet your daughter is adorable too ! Congrats...!
We can't wait to see your latest little bundle.
So let me.get this straight. KO got offered enough $ to become the highest paid guard in the league, by a team that he wanted to stay with. Knowing that thw Ravens were up against the wall and had many other needs. So when he was offered stupid money by the Raiders, he gladly takes it. Somehow this is the Raven's fault and now he is coming to town ready to wreck our Defensive line? All I can say is good luck big fella...
He may be a little salty like Jalen Ramsey after the game too. Hopefully it's with the same results. RAVENS 4 and 0 !
Here is my 2 cents- I think we see Suggs Thursday night for one or two defensive possessions. He doesn't want to have to go full tilt unless its against opposition. I think Dumervil waits until the 2nd pre-season game, same with SSsr. Now for Perriman, he should get practice prior to pre-season games so hopefully we see him next week at at least 1 or 2 practices next week., however I dont expect him to play game speed until the 3rd pre-season game. The question is -will he make this team? If not we have other weapons, so its all on him now.
Perriman can't (not) make the team !
He is only entering into his sophomore season.
I'm personally going to look at this season as a show me what you got season, as far as all our players go. If it's veterans or rookies, it doesn't matter. Like Harbs says, we need to see playmakers, not projects !
NFL preseason power rankings got us at a poultry 24th best ! I'm hoping it stays this way and it motivates players and coaches alike to dig deep this year, pulling out all the stops. I want to see us get back to some dominant football ! As big a part of this has to be on the coaches as the players..! Let's get it done this year !
The part I wish he saw that resembles the 85 Bears, would be that Rex Ryan was our D. Coordinator !
Our Defense has gotten pretty pitiful in the past few year of bending without breaking.
I sincerely hope that changes drastically this year !
If not it may be Dean Pees last year in Baltimore.
5 hours ago, Crusader said:There one way to settle this. Joe and the Ravens vs Matt and the Falcons in the Super Bowl. Make it happen!
I'm sorry the only way this could possibly happen is for Matt Ryan to win more than one playoff game !
Something he has never done !
This alone should tell everyone how much better Joe's NFL career has been...

Can't they move Joe around to make up for poor O line play?
Roll outs, play action, screens or even designed run plays for Joe?
Joe's got some wheels on him and maybe in having some movement to his play, it would help him see more of the field.
It seems when he is in the pocket, he gets fixated on routs opening up, only to be blindly sacked. At least if he's on the move he may be able to see where the defender is coming from.
