Let's just pray for boredom !
This is the time of year you don't want News stories !
Unless it's Flacco sightings on the Jersey shores....
40 days of boredom
To bold town, I believe the whole point of the story, the reason we get to the playoffs and Superbowl for that matter, isn't the reason everyone has class and is humble enough to work together.
But because Oz, Harbs and Steve B. have these attributes and actively practice them, we are blessed with a team that does very well on a consistent basis...!
Scheduling the Ravens for failure will only make them stronger !
Steve Smith Sr is one of my all time favorite Ravens! He has played like a Raven his whole career. His sense of humor is great and he brings a fiery attitude that will help to shape some of these younger receivers, I hope. I can't wait to see how our receiving group breaks out this year. When this season does finally get started, it's really going to get exiting fast..!
Ok Sizz, it's true, you're one of them that have beaten the odds, and had a long and very productive and meaningful career! Just because most of the original guys are gone now, it's not time to get nostalgic. Put away the bon bons and get out there and kick some butt ! Their are plenty of young guns coming up that are going to need a strong leadership example ! Embrace the grind, show them how a future HOF'er gets it done. Take the reins big guy!
I like the idea of a receiver catching bricks for a while. I guess getting smacked in the head a couple times with a brick cured Jerry Rice of any potential lapses of concentration !
Just sayin....
All kidding aside ,I would love to see Juice and Crockett get more balls thrown their way this year.
I'll bet if we knock the pressure down on the ball a bit it would be easier to hold onto . No wait that's already been done .
The time it matters most that the pundits are saying we are #1 ?
When Joe is standing at the podium, holding up his 2nd Lombardi !
To be continued:
February 2016 !
I'm hoping Trestman's version of Kubiak's offense gets cranked up a couple notches.
With as much of an improvement as the offense was last year, at times it seamed to be missing just that little edge to get us over the top. I would really like to see a couple trick plays utilized. I believe that was the difference in the division round game against the Pats. Of course it can be argued that they used questionable plays that took advantage of the Referee's, but I didn't see that killer instinct in Kubiak, of putting your boot on the throat of the other team when it was most needed. Sometimes that little edge can be the difference in the win and the loss. It would be nice to see Trestman bring our Offense that little wrinkle. And wouldn't it be a statement to roll into Denver in week 1 and hand it to Elway/Kubiak/Manning for their season opener, in a fashion reminiscent of week 1, 2014..?
I would love to see Joe drop about six touchdown passes on the Broncos to open up the season ! Then put his foot on the gas and not slow down until he's standing on the podium accepting his next new car in February!
Joe Flacco = 2nd time Superbowl MVP....
Sorry Mom Gene, I meant to (+) your comment not (-) it.
My Phone thumbs.
I like that Sizz is taking the high road ! After all, the place to show how you really feel about the Patriots, is on the field with them...! Too bad we may not be facing them this year in the AFC Championship game, as they may not make it that far. I would love to see Suggs getting some of Brady on the field. After we got tricked out of the win in the Division round game last year, I would say it will be payback time....!
I think Camp may be wound up a little too tight !
Maybe he should look into some yoga classes before he misses a bunch more games this season.
That picture of Flacco and Tucker on the ping pong paddles reminds me of Terance and Phillip on South Park !
It's going to be so sweet watching these guys stomping the Patriots in the division round at M&T this year..! That's if the Pats even make the playoffs.
I don't care for how what Ed Reed says gets twisted for the sake of drama.
He says he thinks anyone who breaks the rules should be punished. Twisting what people say to make a story sound more compelling is not journalism! It's Drama !
Last couple of seasons I have found myself longing for a late game interception. So much so that I have gone many times to YouTube to watch Reed highlight films ! Think I'll go there now.... Here's lookin at you Ed Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed...!
Stay healthy and this year will be your 2nd Superbow MVP Joe !
Even if Pittsburgh wasn't going for Maxx Williams and we didn't jump them for him, I believe he will have a very negative affect on them when our teams meet ! What's up with the two play highlights film on him ? There is better film of him on YouTube .
My two young sons play football. Their Mom got them into it, and is the commissioner of their league. The youngest started when he was 6 and swears he will be a Raven one day! I think between football and wrestling, these experiences have been something they will carry with them the rest of their lives. Not only for the fun they have had playing with and meeting new friends, but learning life lessons and being part of something bigger than them.
I like this move on a lot of levels.
It's so great that J.J.'s career as a Raven actually start as a result of him giving us a playoff game against the Texans.
When he came to Bmore he bought his own jugs machine to help him improve his hands. He has been a playmaking game changer ever since. I am so glad he is here for the long haul.

I like making Defenses pay for blitzing. As much as I liked what Kubes brought to the team last year, I thought at times we could have been more aggressive in our adjustments on offense. The Texans game was hard to watch. They had our number and Kubiak didn't seam to know what to do about it. So it would be great to roll into Denver in September, when Kubiak and the Broncos will think they have us pegged, for Trestman and our offense to put the hammer to em...!
Same goes for Pittsburgh and their new fast defense.
