  1. This may make it a little easier for Ozzie to get a more team friendly deal on Joe's new contract. | V
  2. Joe better restructure with a very team friendly deal to help us keep guys like our new left tackle on the team.
  3. Boomer Esiason must not like the Ravens much ! He looked like he'd taken a bite of a crap sandwich after the game was over...! I love when the pundits give us no chance and we show them different !
  4. Rest up Crock ! Really big season coming up next year !
  5. I propose finding a material that is purple and black iridescent, like what a Ravens feathers looks like in the sunshine. Make that change to our uni's. Maybe find a true gold for a stripe on black pants. This team has lost it's identity as a bunch of mean bad asses on Defense! I think it's way past time to get back to that, weather we look like it or not! I can't see that happening in mustard yellow, Pittsburgh colored, bull crap pants..!
  6. I would like a duplicate of this jersey. Same everything, patches, collar, color, with stitched on name panel and numbers. I've been looking since we won the Superbowl and I can't find one. Anybody have a clue ?
  7. I'm with Sami on this one. I think it may be time to start mixing things up in the coaching department. It seams to me we have more problems with position groups across the board than with individual players. This suggests coaching shortcomings, to me.
  8. Something that jumps to mind for me is our ridiculous early schedule. The NFL schedulers may smugly play it off as luck of the draw, but we really know it was an attempt to sink our season early, with all the road games and west coast travel. (mission accomplished) It may also have a lot to do with early season injuries !
  9. I'm glad we don't have to see our Ravens getting blown out on prime time TV..! I was at the Seachickens game and the stands seamed to be filled. Does this mean our game won't be televised at all? Last week the guide said the game was on Fox and the Skins game was on instead. I'm hoping this team can start building a strong top 10 Defense again after this season. I'm excited to see what some of our younger guys can do.
  10. This is a win-win situation for us fans. We get to see our team win a game, and that's always fun. If by chance they don't, we get a better draft pick, and that we need.
  11. Speaking of bad officiating, did anyone notice the lack of penalty flag on the play where Tyrod Taylor was hurt on MNFL? I think if it was Brady or Manning getting shoved to the ground well after the ball was out, the Zebras wouldn't have hesitated the throw a flag! It seams to me, the NFL should be looking at the poor state of officiating as one of it's biggest problems, going forward. They have figure out how to change these problems! Having Dean Blandino coming on TV the next day,to tell everyone a game should have been won by a different team and expecting everyone to just accepted that kind of inferior quality product is rediculous..! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that games can and probably are being fixed! It only takes a few bad calls to change the total outcome of a game, as we have all witnessed on more than one occasion this season. People will only put up with so much of this crap before they start finding other things to watch on TV...!
  12. It will definitely be different watching a Ravens game without Joe at the helm. Matt's a good QB with all the tools to be successful. I'm sure everything will be fine once the games get moving. Good luck Matt !
  13. Crockett Gilmore says about Flacco "He's a tough guy." "He's a stone-cold West Texas kind of guy, old-school cowboy." I would second that! Good luck with your surgery and rehab Joe... See you in the spring.
  14. Anytime's a good time for a sack ! It's nice to see some positives come out of a game that had a lot of downside. Keep up the good work Courtney!
  15. This is one of the things I love about our Joe Cool. He would scoff at being called courageous, for playing the next few plays after the injury occurred. He is one of the most laid back, humble guys in any sport.! Nothing is too big of a deal for him, and that's why when the preasure is way up Joe's excellence shines ! Good luck with your surgery and recovery Joe ! ! ! Hurry back...
  16. Ok coach Belicheat you can put away your voodoo doll now !
  17. KO = BEAST..! We have to keep him in Baltimore...
  18. Wow you guys are awfully tuff on our players ! How about keeping your negative crap to yourselves?
  19. Watch our games over. Rediculously blatant missed calls. (Pitt game) Our D linemen gets tackled just before hitting the runner. Runner scores! Announcers mentioned it but after the initial review they don't show the beginning of the play again. Just Vick's block on Webby. (Arizona game) Last play of game. Pass to Gilmore turns into an Int. to end the game. Another blatant no call on the DB pushing off to get the separation needed ! This non called ultimately change the outcome of the game. There have been many other instances of bad calls/no calls favoring our opponents. (Jags game) kamar Aiken gets hit helmet to helmet, on a play that ends in an Int. No call. Jags receiver later gets hit shoulder to sholder, helmets may have grazed each other. Result instant penalty! I am going to go backand rewatch all our games and document all these rediculous game changing Ref bungles from this year, just to have the info down. Besides what else have I got to do during the playoffs this year?
  20. As much as this officiating problem in general should not be a big deal, and we definitely don't want our games to be close enough that a blown call can make the difference. I watch every play in slow motion during comercial breaks, and the officiating has not been evenly bad for both side in many of our games. This leads me to believe there is more to the whole picture. With very convoluted rules that leave much to interpretation by officials, whom don't seam to always remember them, many games can have points shaved and even complete outcomes turned around! This is a much bigger deal than the hardness of Brady's balls ! Yet, it seams like business as usual at NFL HQ. We need to stand against this treatment as fans, make noise until it is a big deal ! The fact that teams aren't even allowed to complain about officiating is a big problem..!
  21. PFF should start breaking down officiating the same way they look at and grade players. Look at every play, for any penalties that should have been called, or ones that were called wrong. Maybe when it comes to light how some teams are being screwed while others are being ellivated by the Zebras, they will have to make some drastic changes at NFL headquarters. I for one, am getting less and less interested in watching games that are hard fought, only to be snatched away from teams by blind offials, or worse crooked offials !
  22. I guess it's a good thing no one puts any bets on these games, and it's just a lowly 2 and 6 Ravens team! Things like this could actually piss off people that really care !
  23. It has looked like our philosophy has been to play our games to not get beaten, instead of playing games to beat our opponents. That's what bend but don't break sounds like. GONE IS DOMINANT RAVENS DEFENSIVE FOOTBALL...!!! The cancer of mediocrity has also spread to our offensive play calling, where we don't close out games with our foot on the throat of our opponents! Instead we try to eat up a little clock. I'm sorry but when you play to dominate and you fall a little short, you are probably still a playoff calibre team. When you are playing just not to lose, and you fall short you lose every time ! You give teams like the Raiders, Jags and Browns all the confidence they need to win! Looks like it's time to start shooting for better draft picks.!
  24. @Ravenshine, You sound a little salty...! I would think if Ray Rice were a regular abuser of his (now wife) we would have heard something about that over the time he was a Raven. What we did hear was Ray taking up for the underprivileged, spending time in the community and reaching out to children, talking about bullying. Should he have hit her? No, not ever. Should he have a chance to play again? Absolutely ! I would go as far as to say the Ravens should give him another chance. After all they did say they would stand behind him and then went back on their word!
  25. The Browns may have 1 more loss than us but they have a better divisional record, they also beat us so there is that.
