Won't happen. If Joe keeps playing like he has do you really want to extend him beyond the two years? Well, we wouldn't be extending him, since he's already under contract through 2021. So in short, yes. If he played like he did last year, I see no reason to move on from him. If fans actually took the time to look around the league (and specifically the College game) and look at the alternatives, it would scare people into loving Flacco. Its that bad. I mean you don't really think teams think that guys like Bradford and Osweiler are really good QBs do you? They just know what the alternative is. Or just pick any franchise that hasn't had a respectable QB in over a decade what they think. The old "o just go get somebody in the draft or FA mantra" doesn't seem to be quite so simple then... I can only look at facts and one glaring change in the Ravens Record the last 8 years is that contract. Right or wrong its hampers the team from winning and neglects the other two phases of the game.

I still like Hooker over Jones but Hooker just had surgery so now I'm thing is this Perriman all over? If you watch Jones had good fortune with bad throws but he does stay with his guy. Nobody seems to get away. Hooker makes players look slow on the field.

Ben Watson had a great NFL run but at 36? What possibly could he really contribute over a 16 game season? How about getting these numerous coaches on the team to get these four " rookies" TE playing better.? Sorry I just don't get the logic. Giving Ray too much credit. He didn't even play the whole year. Missed games due to injury. Don't remember him playing offense either. I love the guy but no way does he get ALL the credit. Ray gave so much more than just playing time. John got here in 2008 and Ravens make 5 straight playoffs. This also means they are picking late in the draft rounds.Then Ray leaves 2012. It would have been 4 straight years of not making the playoffs except for Gary. Ravens pick high in draft those years and still this team is no better shape than 2013. Something fundamentally changed or that must be one hell of a Super Bowl hang over. The difference when Ray was here and when Ray & Crew left you have to admit is striking. Evidently they worked great together but I don't think John realized that until now.

You can start by throwing him more than two balls a game but then again Pitta would have to be on the bench.

What really bad is no matter who we hope Ravens pick they have a very low chance of getting on the field this coming season. If these are the best of the best it should not take most of them a year to get in on a play. Any stats out there on draft picks of all the teams getting first year playing time?
