  1. Watch what happens if Browns beat the Ravens. Those "former Browns will have gotten beaten by the real Browns" They will say. 24/7 news till the next weekend comes. Baltimore was NEVER suppose to have a another team. Especially since the City politicians were going to "Steal" the team come Monday morning on a vote but the Owner said "see ya". That's the part everyone leave out. NFL still holds grudges. ."and on March 28, the Maryland state legislature passed a law allowing they city of Baltimore to seize the Colts from Irsa"
  2. Think its pretty clear who is leading their respective groups. Suggs leads the Dline/LBs, Weddle leads the secondary. Steve Smith was leading the receivers, and Yanda leads the Oline. I thought this was common knowledge. If your interpretation of "leadership" is a guy who delivers sermons in the locker room or is constantly in the public eye preaching like Ray Lewis was, then I think the lack of leadership falls on your end, not the Ravens end. If I asked you to tell me who the leader of the groups of players on the New England Patriots are, you couldn't do that either. So apparently they don't have leadership from player commanders (outside of Brady) either, yet they seem to keep winning. No. Sermons in locker rooms are a product of his personality not a leadership trait. Why New England wins is easy. Go to their website. Pull up their roster and sort on years. The first 15 players have played the last 5 years or more together in New England. That develops nucleus. Then take a look a 2017 Ravens. In 2012 there were 12 players drafted by Ravens who started and have played mim 3 or more years together.. I don't follow the Pats that closely but I would lay money on Rob Ninkovich, Devin McCourty and Pat Chung as leaders. Why are your responses so angry? I can't understand why people responses make you so miserable and combative. I lied I do know why.
  3. Kaepernick isn't pushing anybody. Yea, He can't even stand up.
  4. I think this is where John really shines. He could sale you the Golden Gate Bridge with his tongue.
  5. How about we see Ozzie draft board? Has that been shown?
  6. Theres still plenty of time to get another quality WR besides our young WRs will be better this year than they were last year. The biggest improvement comes between years 1 and 2. Given a chance, I think they will do just fine. They will do fine but someone has to be great. Ravens had Torrey, Boldin, and Steve. That guy is not on the team. Yet. Johns dreaming if he thinks the Ravens defense can be on the field as long as they were when Ray commanded the field. Loosing two oline players and one great blocker did not help those odds.
  7. I would not say choirboys but if you say Alpha males with vocal personalities to lead men, I would say there is something in that. One big problem with the Ravens is that there is no nucleus of players leading their perspective groups. In the past (before 2013) Ravens had a leader and his generals. I would love to see Tim do that but I'm sure he will be put into his place. It is no coincidence the Ravens have done nothing since 2012 and the purge. Do you seriously think Ravens would have won the Super Bowl if the "mutiny" did not happen? The fact that it came to that point told me there is an issue in knowing your men. Knowing the "pulse" of your team. John has his generals (coordinators) but seems to have an issue understanding commanders purpose in the field.
  8. We shall see. Ravens went from "Who let the Dogs out?" to Who's in John's dog house.?
  9. Can you grade this draft class? Really? heck were still out on 2016 class. This will be Perriman 3rd year what grade can you give him? Maybe by game 8 you can grade. If they are going to show anything they better by then.
  10. Its not what you know, it's who you know.
  11. That or will be the first in John's Dog House. Taking bets who that will be!
  12. First step, make it thru training camp. Ravens seem to lose two to three players there and then Preseason.
  13. The FO. wants him and I believe the odds are good he will be a Raven in 2017 Budman you have a better chance on getting on this team than Boldin.
  14. I get the feeling after the 2012 season Ravens tried the big time offense and now have gone back to it roots.
  15. Think Ravens will be able to afford him after the 5th year?
