Yeah, how much does it cost? Any chance the admins can at least road test an option like that for a year to see if enough people donate to make it a viable self-sustaining option?
Hell of an interview, really insightful stuff.

Thank you to everyone who has shared feedback on this thread. We wanted to ensure we provided ample notice to the community of the shutdown and originally felt that 3+ weeks was suitable. Also, with the NFL calendar now spanning 12 months, we realize that there is no "best" time to sunset the boards. However, with the amount of chatter that occurs during the free agency period and draft, we understand that March 31 may not be the ideal time to close the discussion.
With that in mind, we have decided to leave the message boards up and running through the draft. The new shutdown day will be Friday, May 5 -- one week following the NFL Draft. We realize that many will still be upset that the board is closing, but we hope this provides members an opportunity to continue the ongoing dialogue during this busy time of year.
More time for the original post (now at -48) to break the negs record.
What's the record?

It is 100% all mod3's fault.
Does someone tie your shoes in the morning or do you have velcro shoes?
I was going to ask if he had to wear a helmet around the house for his own safety.

When i was working in Regal cinamas i told customers they cant sit in handicapped seats these are reserved for the disabled. So the Customer complained to my boss he said we don't make our customers uncomfortable here. He said,,I know how it is ,,If a Customer says well AMC doesn't do that to me so im going to AMC.. Mod 3 should learn something here. Just because we broke a small rule doesnt mean we should got points for it. So some members left because they think its totally unfair they get points for something very small.

If the higher-ups are curious as to why Facebook and Twitter aren't adequate options for intelligent discussion, here's your case in point.

Last year we finished on Edge rushers, which got pretty frenetic despite being kind of a meh talent pool overall. QB's quiet every year.

Yeah, there would have been a lot of headaches had it been doing this for the DB group (though after my latest bid it seems to have returned to normal speed, so go figure). If someone really wants a player here (lol) they've got to get in fairly early.

Former Jaguars' OL Luke Joeckel expects to sign 1-year deal with Seattle Seahawks, per sources. Seattle upgrades its line.
Feels weird to see "Luke Joeckel" and "upgrades" in the same comment in a context that's not talking about replacing him.

For $37 million a year?
I guess that means Zeitler's out of the question, but no complaints about Jefferson. Him and Weddle will be one hell of a pairing. If a top CB falls to us in the draft that'll be quite the secondary indeed.

I'm not sure how much this site costs the team (presumably) to run, but surely even a donation model (where payment is voluntary) would at least come close to being enough.
