  1. Not sure where else to put this:

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/17/roughly-20-nfl-teams-facing-loss-of-chartered-flights/

American Airlines has ended its charter flight deals with the Cardinals, Ravens, Colts, Jags, Dolphins and Steelers, citing inadequate machinery. Up to 20 teams don't have a charter provider for next season (not sure if said six were included in that count).

I'd kinda like to see United try to drag Brandon Williams off a flight though.

Lol, yep - I'm with you brother.

Are people under impression that we all work out? I'd rather we all post measurements. 6'1" / 215 sounds heaps better than a visual of it, showing where exactly those lbs are.

Just add 12lb of lean muscle and you'll be fine.

I wouldn't be so down on Victor Oladipo. He's gotten more efficient every season, with his FG% and 3PT% rising in each of his first 4 seasons and his TOs dropping as well. Not a defensive liability. Solid starter in my book. Naming him as the Thunder's 4th best player is perhaps a bit low.

As a Magic fan I feel like what you see at this point is more or less what you get with Oladipo. He can play solid man defence (he can body someone up and stick with them) but his team defence (which is a bigger part of the modern game imo) isn't so flash. Attacking the rim hasn't been an issue per se but he's never been able to draw fouls for some reason. His gameplay's always been streaky too - he'll play extremely well for a while (like he did earlier on this season) but then he'll go through games where he can't even make layups. This is a contract year for him too. I'd say he's better than OKC's 4th best simply by virtue of being capable of having a presence on both sides of the court, but I think that says more about the team outside Westbrook than it does about him.

This rain is something else. Apparently we had more water dumped on Auckland in last 24 hours than what used to be the average rainfall during entire month of April.

That's the Opiki Basin - you can see the fencetops. Suffice it to say no-one's taking that route for a while.

I'll tell you a little about trolls, though.

The P*triots hold the record for the most banned trolls.  They're pretty vicious and mostly have very nasty language.  They usually hit the blogs, so a lot of you probably never saw their "work".  They're definitely the most hated group by the mods.  They're pretty relentless.  They like to offer a lot of alternative facts, too, in their 3 page posts.

In second place we have the 49ers.  Their trolls were mostly whiney and gave us mods some good laughs on occasion.  They were large in numbers, not so much in creativity.  They also have better language.  They disappeared after a while.

We've banned a few Steeler trolls, but not really very many.  They tend to be hit and run anyhow.  One non-troll fan got banned but he did something beyond extreme to earn that distinction.

Bengals and Browns fans seem to behave pretty decently, as do fans of most teams.

Frankly, we get trolled more by our own "fans".

Now that you mention it, I do remember a lot of Cheetahs fans coming in and getting nasty especially during our SB run. The 49ers fans were pretty unbearable at the same time, but vanished after the SB to my knowledge. Then there was that Texans fan who was talking up how Matt Schaub was so much better than Joe (while Schaub was in the middle of his infamous pick six streak), and mysteriously vanished after that 2013 game.

I'm curious about that Steelers fan though. I can have a good guess at who it was but I wouldn't have the first clue what they did.

I think he already visited the seahawks as well - but man if he ends up joining and essentially replacing Blount then it could be tricky to overcome them

maybe the AFC should just make a pact to sign any player who could be a good pats type player even if they don't fit in your own system just to stop them lol - like there's a rota for the other 15 teams to take the next potential pat and starve them  of guys who fit their system...

I said when he went to visit the Seahawks that I think he's done as far as meaningful contributions go. Even without the age and injuries (which have been well and truly piling up for years now) he only logged 2.7ypa last season. Whoever signs him (if anyone at all) won't be getting the AP we've gotten used to, so I don't see him moving the needle an awful lot.

Intentional bad spelling and grammar and "teh comprehensuv plan"

At least, that's who I've been referring to . He had made several posts Sunday and Monday, if I'm remembering correctly.

That was my guess. My second pick was someone who blamed Mod 3 for closing the place down because they didn't give up disabled seats to non-disabled customers when working at the cinema.

If you read through Ravens Talk, you'll find the answer to your question.

I spent five minutes reading through it a couple of days ago, which was about five minutes more than I'd like to spend reading through Ravens Talk.

Like I say, RM's description could be applied to a few people.
