  1. I'd say there's a not 0% chance we see a new record for biggest FA purchase.
  2. It just means people rank things differently. Last year I got around the 12th pick and ended up with my #2 side. Some people like to tinker around with their roster, others prefer lots of cap space, others prioritise a high draft pick, others still prefer a side that requires very little attention and I remember someone last year taking a side simply because they had a giant albatross of a contract on the books and would be a challenge.
  3. You have no idea how close we were to talking up Oklahoma's chances at winning the national title next season.
  4. You can leave someone your top few names if you like. They'll then pick on your behalf if you're asleep when you're on the clock.
  5. I'm stuck at work all day today so I can take people's picks if they won't be around.
  6. I just want to go on the record saying @rmw10 missed a chance with the team selection picture.
  7. @rmw10 as promised. Here is your sequence: 9 24 22 27 15 14 17 3 5 28 20 8 25 32 6 12 31 1 30 26 19 11 21 10 29 2 16 13 23 18 4 7 Timestamp: 2017-02-09 23:02:33 UTC Sauce (I did three dummy runs beforehand, which I can present if people need to see them for some reason): https://www.random.org/sequences/?min=1&max=32&col=1&format=html&rnd=new
  8. The Bruins are probably the Boston team I hate the least, it's just kind of a [gut] punch to get a Boston team after the Cheetahs won the Super Bowl like that. I used to be alright with the Celtics, but watching them retool on the fly and get that rebuilding gimmie courtesy of the Nets changed all that.
  9. Dunno if I can accept that. It's kinda rubbing salt in the wound.
  10. I think I'll sit this one out this year. Too much work to get everything up and this year I don't have enough interest in other teams or even the draft to make a meaningful contribution this year - that and I've been liking my sporadic days off from this place too much to commit to anything. Good luck though, it's been filling up pretty quickly this year so you shouldn't have any problems finding someone more worthy.
  11. I thought I did but clearly I need to get them checked. Or get them examine.
  12. What?
  13. I was wondering who'd remember that. As bad as we feel right now, it's probably 100 times worse for those guys.
  14. I'm still traumatised from the last time I went there.
  15. Agreed.
  16. I hate to say it, but I think that cements Brady as the GOAT. First to five SBs and the mother of all comebacks. I'm about to go looking for local caves to live in so I can avoid the internet and all things even vaguely NFL media-related being that the commentators and fans are going to be unbearable for the rest of time, but they're right.
  17. Probably the one upside I can think of for all this.

  19. Yeah, it's comparable to blaming Joe for the insane stuff Marc Testman did. *waits to inadvertently stir 50-page argument*
  20. If the Cheetahs win this I'm switching to hockey forever.
  21. I think that's a catch, and an unbelievable one at that. I feel sick.
  22. The Patriots always seem to get trolled by an incredible catch every time they're in the Super Bowl.
  23. That's one of the criticisms of Kyle Shanahan, that he often gets too pass-happy. Fumbling was the worst thing that could have happened to the Falcons because it burns less clock. They need a good rebound drive here. Either take three minutes or so off the clock or score, ideally both.
  24. Even taller with how quickly the clock's been ticking away. The Falcons have been trying to make this game peter out quietly since their fourth TD and it's working.
