"ultimately he didn't give any indication where he can play and be effective." It seemed like they were liking him at ilb, but Orr was just better. Team wasn't expecting it. Wanted to get Correa on the field so started working him outside. High learning curve for Correa, learning 2 spots as a rookie, when his really not a "smarts" player but an instinct/motor guy. Should do better this year.
Agreed, the problem was KC got hot headed when the big linemen manhandled him at camp when he played inside cause he wanted to rush the line and he ended up in fights. That caused some bad blood in the locker room, you don't do that as a rookie. You have to earn your respect not demand it. Then he did get beat out by Orr, of course he did. How is any rookie going to beat out Suggs, Doom, Orr and Mosley? aint gonna happen in fact behind that McClellan, ZaD, Judon and "Owniywan" - KC was deep in the dog house. Heck the Ravens even kept Brennan, he is good too! KC will get his chance in camp, the team has forgiven him and he has climbed back into good graces. This is a very talented and deep group!
