  1. Number of games played/receptions have declined the last few years. However, if the price is right he would give us another legitimate wide receiver other than Wallace. Like it, don't love it.
  2. D Jackson would be great. He fits Marty's West Coast scheme and he is fast and shifty. He won't have any trouble getting separation. He is a playmaker. Good not great option. Should be good for 50+ receptions. Depends on the price tag. On the other hand, other than Mike Wallace we do not have a proven legitimate wide receiver on the team.
  3. Who let the Boldin trolls out again? Steve B when he said it was a mistake they traded him.
  4. Who let the Boldin trolls out again? Yeah, because he would not have helped us the last four years. As Chris Collingsworth said on a recent Sunday Night Football telecast...This guy(Boldin) what does he run, something like a 4.8 forty? But he has the guts, heart, knowledge, and determination to always come up with the ball. He has "ONLY" averaged about 70 catches a season the last four years. Guess you're a Jeremy Butler or Camp guy and don't like proven WINNERS.
  5. Based on what? Had we given him a fair chance at all he could have developed. His only flaw was that he was buried behind vets and draft picks as a UDFA, but IMO he had more promise than most young receivers we have had. Picked up and dropped by other teams. CP. (Can't Play)
  6. AGREE. You can never have enough WINNERS on your team. Boldin would "Only" catch approx. 65 balls, 6 TD's, and provide GUTS and a WINNING ATTITUDE. Don't care if he takes playing time away from our very mediocre young receivers.
  7. Surprised everybody's not clamoring for Ed Reed to join the Ravens as DB Coach.
  8. Its not so much the receivers as it is the routes they are made to run and the whole basic scheme of the offense. Perriman would/is a mediocre receiver no matter what team he plays for.
  9. How about some "Real" WR's?
  10. "Q" for one year. 65 receptions. 6 TD's. GUTS. DETERMINATION. WINNER.
  11. They actually NEED WR's first.
  12. lol! Now if we can rid Joe of his buddy Dennis and save a good amount of cap, all will be well in Baltimore! I'm sick of flacco throwing these 5 yard dinks to pitta bread too So Ryan Fitzpatrick or EJ Manuel is your option. Bet you felt the same when the confetti was dropping in New Orleans.
  13. So Ryan Fitzpatrick or EJ Manuel is the answer I'm guessing? What is that suppossed to mean? LOL nice argument. Bottom line is Joe played better than maybe 4 or 5 qbs in the league this year. There are only 2 qbs that have a higher annual salary. He needs to pick it up big time. And not a good signing by the front office. Discussion over I'm sure you felt the same way when the confetti was dropping down in New Orleans. It's a QB driven league. Yes, Flacco has to play better but you have to pay the going rate or look at your options. Ravens Fans would have gone APE crap if they let Joe walk after the SB VICTORY. DISCUSSION OVER!
  14. So Ryan Fitzpatrick or EJ Manuel will get us over the hump? Or better yet Rivers or Matt Ryan because they've accomplished SO much in the post season.
  15. Couple of things... Biscotti bought the Ravens in 2004. We won our first SB in 2000. We were the greatest defense of all time and owned by the late Art Model. Joe has had down years in 3 of the last 4. Yes we played Pit hard. We always do. We beat them last year with Ryan Mallett at QB. The Browns play us hard. It's part of being so familiar with each other and not a sign of how good we may or may not be. We are the same team going into the offseason minus our #1 receiver SSS. We are more than a single offensive weapon from being a powerhouse. That would only bring us back to where we already were last year. Marty will not be bringing in Kubiaks system. He will have Marty's system. We will have to wait to see what that is but dont expect miracles. Kubiak was great while it lasted but now it's gone. Marty also doesn't seem to like the run and I dont see how that will change next year. One season sample size? Flacco is going into his 10th season. How much more time do we need to figure it out? I have always supported Joe because he USED to be January Joe and that was exciting. I also thought it was better than being one of the miserable teams looking for their franchise guy but after seeing his numbers sit at the bottom of the league I may be kidding myself. Statistically it couldn't be much worse. Because of his extention we are stuck with him for the time being. So Ryan Fitzpatrick or EJ Manuel is the answer?
  16. It comes down to who is paying the most. Period.
  17. We likely will be adding Correa to the list next year. A 2nd round pick who is a special teams player at best.
  18. So Ryan Fitzpatrick or EJ Manuel is the answer I'm guessing?
  19. West is average. Dixon has potential. Moore is a roster filler/special teams player. Camp gets injured if the wind blows in the wrong direction. Perriman's mediocre numbers would be acceptable if he was drafted 5th or 6th. He wasn't. I agree with both Harbs and Oz.
  20. Agree to some extent about the Old Boy Network but you can say that about a lot of teams. Regarding the Draft, if you do an honest evaluation since 2009 it has produced a few "Players" but many more over valued "Roster Fillers".
  21. When the confetti was dropping down in New Orleans did you have a problem with it then?
  22. Spot on description of Flacco. Now if anyone says a QB with these kinds of characteristics is elite or deserves the kind of money Flacco does should be checked into a mental facility. Ryan Mallett would probably succeed in the conditions that need to be created for Flacco for him to play adequately. Mallett has been a career back up for the most part for a good reason. Release Joe and sign Ryan Fitzpatrick(SARCASM)
  23. He'll be long gone before we pick. What, you don't like our mediocre #1 pick Perriman?
  24. Concerned that as a #2 pick KC could only make Special Teams appearances. Hope we don't have another Arthur Brown on our hands.
