  1. Anyone feel the only way to address this WR vacancy is a trade?

We cant find our number 1 in the draft without pure luck and going into next year with wallace as the only reciever we can count on is scary... tbh i could see torrey smith coming back for the reason there is no other options. Perriman/Wallace/Smith/Waller would make for the fastest group of pass catching players to ever step foot on a field at the same time lol...

Only real prediction I can think of that doesn't already seem incredibly obvious is that they lowball Wagner because of Lewis.

Smith retiring, Dumervil cut, Williams being overpaid elsewhere, Zuttah being replaced, and even possible Wallace and Webb being cut due to money all seem obvious at this point

    wallace isn't going anywhere man.

Folks, please remember that this is a thread for discussing your feelings about the game that was just played, not for suggestions of future Ravens moves, there are other threads for that! Thanks.

can we just post please. the season just ended.... i'll go create a completely different thread that will end up merged with another thread that was merged. what a terrible christmas.

I have no idea if we manage to make the playoffs or not but we can beat anyone when we're on point. The talent is there. I don't see the field this season and think ...well, don't know that we could beat that team, they're just too dominant.  I'm beginning to think the coaching staff - from Harbs on down - just need to get out of the teams way.

Anything can happen. Thats a fact. No one really thought in 2014 we COULD have made the superbowl with the injuries we had including Jimmy Smith out... We went to Pitt and laid the hammer down then went to NE Jimmy Smithless and held two 14 point leads... Yes Jimmy Smith out is the reason we lost but the secondary was pure garbage by week 18... Starting safetys Stewart and Elam...  We make it past NE, we beat the Colts because they did not come to play whatsoever and end up in our 3rd superbowl in 14 years.

The offense on paper should be better but flacco is holding everything back. The backs are better, the line is healthy, Wallace is better than Torrey Smith. The defense if they can get back in gear is as good as it's been in a decade. No reason to think we can't win these two games. it's just what Joe Flacco are we going to see.

  5. I don't see this team doing damage in the playoffs even if we get in... I think we beat Pitt and I think if that happens we likely beat Cinci... but Just too many mistakes. Flacco playing as bad as he ever has, run defense starting to wear down and get exposed, Jimmy Smith out/always hurt, penalties, clock management/play calling. If Jimmy is out our playoff lives depend on how well Shereece Wright/JP play and flacco not turning the ball over ( which he's good for 1 a game).

I would imagine this happens on about 50% of all training camp/preseason practices on all teams and probably even more so in regular in-season practices.

idk man. i agree in TC with heat and so much on the line... but later.. if it was normal it wouldn't make the front page of nfl.com.

This defense is all hype. Its coasted on over inflated stats they got from playing enough inept offenses to make them seem way better than they really are. Over rated.

I don't think they are all hype... The secondary didn't look like it was clicking from the first play and i have a feeling that whole " ravens not scared to play in foxbourgh" thing is bs now a days .. and the injuries destroyed any chance of slowing brady on the last drive. at home i BET ... it's a 100% different defense...

I know.. I have wanted m Wallace  since before  he was drafted to our rivals..  He fits flaccos style... I actually was going to order myself a Wallace Jersey

I love seeing a player put as much effort into the game as wallace does... fighting for that first down on that cut back. would have be nice to see it work

Mike Wallace in 2016 > 85% of the other WRs in the league

    I wish that was true.

What makes you think he's not? He's almost at 1,000 yards and has caught almost every single pass thrown his way... he's been way more than a 1 trick pony for us in his routes. I couldn't even imagine this team without wallace this year...
