The Patriots deep zone completely confused our coaching staff and it's pretty critical to be able to run the ball but we got too far behind and needed to pass . The only thing available was the dink and dunk . Rule no 1- you can't get too far behind against the Patriots and expect to come back . They play the deep zone very very well .

While we did not play well , our coaching staff looked completely surprised and unprepared for what New England threw at them . One of Harbaughs worst coaching jobs in a long time

This game just confirms to me that if you give Joe excellent protection he can be an elite QB . If Joe had the Dallas Cowboys line he would have 3-4 td throws every game . Sometimes 5 .

After watching Perriman take that slant to the house , it's time to not just send him deep . If he gets some space on the slant , look out .

Perriman needs better route running but he showed some explosive speed on the td run
