  1. Better use that /sarc font or people will take you seriously.
  2. that is the way to use Dixon!!!!!!
  3. what will we do w/o SSS?
  4. well, we got our brains at center!
  5. What do they mean, "it's not time to hit the panic button"? We should have been leaning on that button for the past year. Probably would have helped to pick up a free agent CB. We picked up safety Weddle and coach Frazer, but forgot the CB.
  6. Flacco often says he doesn’t get much of a chance to watch other quarterbacks. Joe, maybe spending some time watching Tom Brady or Drew Brees would be a good investment.
  7. Thought the same thing. Four guys all at the first down marker. We have speedsters, one of them should be heading for the endzone corner.
  8. Ravens already cut Asa Jackson twice in the past, and 3 other teams tried him out and cut him too. So it's not like they wrongly ignored some hidden diamond on the practice squad - they correctly ignored a borderline player who is lucky to still be in this league at all. I'd rather have Webb fair catch every punt than put Asa back there. I thought Asa was going to something, but i was wrong. Apparently, the same with Omar Brown. He seemed to be a ball hawk, but never made it anywhere.
  9. Yes, in game adjustments do seem to be our weakest link.
  10. You were on the field?
  11. Well, i feel your frustration.
  12. "i am hoping philly delivers the knockout blow to us at home." Wow, I may be a homer, but i root for us to win, not lose.
  13. Yes, Baltman and Raven !
  14. So do you think another OL first round pick is in order?
  15. Hard to believe we actually came up short of TE's after appearing overloaded. Great opportunity for him and the Ravens. Now if we could just get overloaded on good DB's.
  16. I had the same question. We rarely use the clock well. OK, we never use the clock well
  17. He's about the size of Graham or Gronk, but faster!
  18. Why do you write "he posted a plus-4.3 grade". When you stick a minus sign in there is just confuses the issue. How about just writing "he posted a plus 4.3 grade" or "he posted a +4.3 grade"? (I know it's petty, but let's go for excellence!).
  19. That sack was the fault of Pitta whose (non) block was the worst I've ever seen. Both INTs were really good plays by the defense. The long ball to Smith where he pulled up and did his best Torrey impression - can't really fault them for taking a deep shot to SSS covered 1 on 1 with a rookie CB. And the other in the end zone was a good play by Haden - he was covering the RB and dropped off at the last second to make the INT - you can't "read" that (Joe's target was open for the TD). Again, it's the Defense that has let us down - giving up last second TDs to Crabtree & Beckham after Flacco led game winning scores. If the D holds, we "should of" be 7-2. Offensive line might be an issue but I have no worries that Flacco can win games. Offensive line might be an issue but I have no worries that Flacco can win games. He has proven he can in the past, but he looks a little shaky this year.
  20. What's with all the thigh injuries?
  21. I like the look also.
  22. Joe has the ability. I just hope he gets back on track. Despite my earlier post, I am still a Flacco fan.
  23. I have always been a Flacco fan. He progressed nicely in his career, peaking at the SuperBowl. However, since then he has stalled and is now regressing. I know there are lots of excuses, OL, running game, etc.; but even with that, he should now be at a stage where he can carry the team. It used to bother me that he just sat on the bench while the defense was on the field. Now it is maddening. Brady, Brees, others study pictures of what the defense is doing; even though their heads are full already of what the defense is trying to do. They still believe they can learn more. It's like he does not want to be great; like he is satisfied where he is. At this stage in his career, he should know how to draw the other team off sides. I don't think i have ever seen him successfully do that. He should be fooling people with a quick count. He should be seeing the defense and calling changes that are effective. I don't know if he needs a really good QB coach or Tony Robbins.
  24. ummmmmmmm.... can't help myself.......GO BILLS!
