One word...coaching. They are successful even when Brady is out, and even when he's in, he's often had no-name receivers (Moss and Gronk are the exceptions, and Gronk is often out) NE holds every player accountable to "do your job".

I don't like Jimmy Smith getting hurt either, but him missing the 2nd half of the Giants game, the jets game, Patriot's game and the 2nd Pittsburgh game showed he is a huge difference maker thanks to Ozzie not drafting a Quality DB in 6 years. Umm, serious? Guess Tray Walker and Tavon Young were no good? Unfortunate incident made that number 1, but Young is a baller no doubt. No excuses to not draft at least 2-3 CB's this next draft and finally fill this glaring need. It is a secondary deep draft from what I've heard as well, best take advantage of what is available. Wonder what our D would have been like with Tray Walker.

Sadly, you are correct.

Been saying this for quite a while - quantity of picks is fine but it does not supercede quality of picks. This especially becomes true when it is time to prune down to the final roster. A lot of those picks hit the bricks. We are missing playmakers and those come in the early rounds (most of the time). If we truly can judge talent (and i think we can), then we need to bite the bullet and trade up to get it. And for goodness sakes, let's nail down the CB situation.

2014: Mosley, Jernigan, Campanaro, Gilmore.... 2015: Perriman, Williams, Smith, Boyle, Waller 2016: Just about every draft pick is on the team. It's not that Ozzie and staff doesn't draft players as they choose quantity over quality. That's the rub. No superstars are being drafted. No one is afraid of anyone on the Ravens. No one. Been saying this forever. We collect draft picks like they're rare Pez dispensers. We collect a bunch of picks and then end up cutting half of them. We should trade up for play makers.

If you are going to lay an egg, best do it in the only meaningless game of the year. I would add Stanley as a bright spot along with Dixon. p.s. we should have rested the started to evaluate the backups.

Yes I'm sure he is really upset that you don't like him. I would imagine you would feel differently had we won. Fans always blame the coach when things go sour. I'm sure you hated him when we were in the playoffs constantly or when we won the SB. Fickle fans. Happy New Year. I agree with everything you say. I was one of many who said out of the gate when Ray, Ed and others were gone Harbaugh's lack of skill and foundation would take this team down. It has. I didn't think he was a good coach when we were winning and guess what I still think he is sorely lacking. He will be and we will be just as mediocre next year. I've said many times I don't think he's a bad man. I do believe he's a mediocre coach. I also believe time has proven that statement. Everyone moans and groans about Joe having 9 yrs at QB and not improving. I believe he has improved a lot. Lets look at Harbaugh he's had 9 yrs to learn how to be a head coach, he still makes the same bone headed mistakes, he still lies, he still can't manage the clock and we still slow up for games so woefully unprepared it's criminal. Think Raiders, think Pats, boy that was a big one. Look at Sundays game Bell ran over all over us. Why. I doesn't appear that any coach on this team watches a second of film. Game plans don't exist, in game corrections don't exist, half time adjustments don't exist WHY? Next year we will have the same bad coaches, coaching badly. We will be the same full of heart and desire mediocre team we are right now. Because all the mediocre asst coaches and positions coaches will still be here. Terrific.................. I think Harbs is a good motiviator. Last year, decimated by injuries, he had the guys still fighting all season. A lot of teams would have mailed it in. That said, I agree half time adjustments and Bellichek style game plans don't exist.

Agree with a lot but don't think you can say Oz blew up the SB team. As i recall a lot of people retired, or left for big money.

We failed too many times on 1st & goal this year to even think about fooling around at the goal line. Juice, that was a great play. Here's where are problems are... 1. Draft - we have this obsession of collecting draft picks. What good is 12 picks when you have to cut six of them. When you get those picks, use them to trade up. We need playmakers! 2. Team philosophy - we espouse a pound the rock philosophy, but in words only. Apparently, we don't mean what we say or everyone has not bought in. Everyone has to be on the same page. 3. H.C. - I'm not down on Harbs as much as some fans are. I just wish he would take a course on clock management. 4. O.C. - why can't we get a good one? One that can mesh with Joe. 5. Adaptability - why can't we make half time adjustments like other teams seem to do? 6. Game attitude - we have no killer instinct!!

Ramsey is overrated. What's the Jags record? How good is that defense? How many pass yards a game do they give up? It just sux to have played so well, mount a great comeback only to watch the same episode that's been running for 14 weeks, get a lead and surrender it. We need to improve our secondary ASAP. We need a viable pass rush ASAP. Onice again out coached when it counts. Maybe my expectations for Ravens football need to be taken down a notch. I'm thoroughly disappointed in how our season ended but sometimes that's how the ball bounces. Ozzie............please spend some money on a #1 cornerback, and please stop bringing in old has-been players from teams. Old has-beens --- you mean like Steve Smith Sr or Weddle?

Well, it was a close game and could have gone either way. AB made a last second play for the win. I just don't understand how we give up two big drives in the fourth (to start); and then, somehow giving them 1 minute 18 seconds at the end is too much time. Have Suggs & Doom reached the end of the road?

Ummmm why do you think they brought in Wright? brought in Powers? drafted Tavon Young? Moved Webb to Safety? Brought in Weddle? ALL of this was to improve our secondary. Webb & Weddle were great ways to address Safety, so props to the FO there. But moving Webb created a hole at CB which was already weak. I think Jimmy only has one season where he played every game. Wright is inconsistent, Powers is not that good (sorry). That leaves a pretty glaring gap. Oh, Jaylen Ramsey, so close.
