Give it a break fans. When Perriman heals he'll be cycled in as appropriate. The guff I hear on this site about 'secrets' about the man's knee are absurd.

Emphasis on defense hasn't been the complete answer lately. We got to chop dead wood off the team and get receivers who can get open and catch the ball. We only got one receiver and he's due to retire and the end of the season. Next year will only be worse than this one due to lack of planning ahead of time. Wake up in the front office and make some moves to re-align the teams direction. Go after (and keep) wr talent. Stop axing players like Boldin, Torrey and Jones.

Bottom line is you can't use yesterdays plays in todays game. Fresh thinking is needed badly. How will we get it?

I'm sure Dean Pees is a nice guy and all that jive. But sometimes you need to make a change just to shake things up and wake up the players. The defense looks like yesterdays trash can contents. New blood is needed at coordinator to get these guys motivated to do their job. Inability to hold a lead is a signal for anyone who wants to heed what it is saying. Defensive scheming is slipping and slipping bad. If we get a new DC and he sees the need to axe some people well so be it. Something has got to change. Put this fire out before another game goes down the same way. Ravens management may be too conservative in making changes and cost games.

Dog breath smelled better than that game today. Those dogs stank the place up and deserve to be whipped after that show. There were only a handful of players on the field today that actually played the game of football. The rest were worn out losers.

I don't remember who said it here on one of these blogs just before the season started. It went something like this: predicting good things for the Ravens prior to the season is like the kiss of death. Looking back that was a prophetic pronouncement.

Five thoughts? I can think of 2 dozen. DC, penalties, OC, run game, corner backs, safeties, receivers, stupidity, etc. The coaches need to get on the field during the week with the players and work with them. There need to be penalties for the penalties. Lackluster performance needs to be handled with replacements. You come out to play for the Ravens, you better be motivated and have your head screwed on tight.

They actually played better against the 2 top tier teams they played (Denver and Cincy). But still haven't got that mojo necessary to pull out wins. They amount to a bunch of also rans.

This is more like a tennis match.
