In my opinion nelson is the top guard with feeney only slightly behind him due to being a cleaner pass protector. But as far as run blocking goes nelson is head and shoulders above all else. And I'm one of those people who emphasize pass pro from tackles and power from guards, I think if your tackles are good in pass pro and your center is well balanced then you can afford to sacrifice some pass pro from your guards for the sake of raw power. So I like nelson better.

Although I wouldn't argue with anyone saying feeney is better.

I haven't looked at the Michigan OL yet so idk. my current ranking for the interior is...

    1. Nelson

    2. Elflein

    3. Feeney

    4. Pocic

    5. Are

That stretches to the 3rd round. It kinda falls off after that but that's a special top end. Guillermo would be worth a 4th round look I think, he needs work in the run game but he is great in pass pro and has the build to play the run well, he just doesn't seem to have a mean streak. The right coaching could have him plowing in the run game despite that though, not every mailer has a mean streak.

How do you not have Frank Ragnow on this list?

hes been alright at LG. he has been a bit soft against those big DTs because he doesnt have the center of gravity to get push against those kinds of players. in theory it should be easy to upgrade at LG from Lewis and make a lateral move at RT by sliding him over there, assuming he is a good RT of course, which i think he will be.

I'm not very confident in that he struggled at LT and there's probably better edge rushers in the league that line up against RTs. He's played on the left side his whole career.  I think it would be difficult for him to slide over to RT.
