If we meet them in playoffs we will. Outside of the Chargers each team in the AFC West has 2 dominate pass rushers. The NFC West is no joke either. It's a concern but we'll see how they progressI still dont get why people are so concerned with this. Miller and Ware are most likely the best pass rush duo in th eleague now that suggs is out for the year. Im willing to bet that any team is going to have issues stopping those guys. We wont face any pass rush like that again, expect maybe st louis.
Embarassment? We barley lost to a damn good team? Nothing embarassing about it. Not like we got blown out.
Um. No. Outside of Gronk, literally no one on that Patriots scares me. Edelman is good but not by any means elite as a WR. And Jimmy Smith would honestly take him out of the equation. Honestly, the patriots only dominated because the steelers defense is an utter peiece of crap. We'll probably go guns blazing against them with suceess.
1. Breshad is unproven in all but one regard. He's fast. All we need him to be right now is a deep threat. Once he returns, we'll basically tell him "run in a straight line". Not too many corners will be able to keep up and honestly, it changes our game plan tremendously.
2. Monroe? Soft? You crazy. Monroe is a top 15 to top 10 left tackle when healthy. He's easily above average. And if you're calling him soft because of his injury, I've gotten a concussion once. Not fun at all. I've split my freaking head open(family says it explains everything). Not fun.
The overreactions are scary. Denver was equally ineffective on offense until their last drive when we were gassed. And with the exception of the last play, so were they. We moved the ball on them with relative ease.
If Perriman turns out to be the deep threat as advertised and we're fully healthy come playoff time, we'll be a hard team to beat. We just need time.
the fact that our o line outside Yanda got completely dominated is a little concerning. Im not sure if Wagner is 100% from last years injury and KO has said his achilles has caused him major pain.
Let's just hope he's nothing like this lmao

There's a lot more where that came from.
I think people got carried away with his hands. He reminds me of Alshon Jeffery with the way he catches(always using his hands to cover the ball when making the catch) who also had drops in college. It's an easy fix imo. His hips are a little stiff but nowhere as near as Torrey's were. Perriman needs to make some quicker cuts into his routes but CBs seem too scared to jump his routes because of his ability to go deep
Lol all I read was Pittsburgh haha got my hopes up for no reasonEngram never coached Antonio Brown. I think you are confusing the Steelers with the University of Pittsburgh (which is where Engram coached before Baltimore).
It was on their NBC Sports special mock draft. "Perriman has a top of potential and we would be dumb to skip him." Henry Anderson is the BPA right now according to them.Link?
This is a link to worst value picks. Dupree made the list haha

The fact that the guys at PFF would've taken Perriman makes me feel better. Analytics to the rescue.
KO needs an extension too.Yeah I expect the following to happen:
1. We try to extend Ngata but fail to agree on terms and trade him for a fifth-sixth round draft pick, in which Ozzie is heavily criticized.
2. We then extend Justin Tucker to avoid paying hon a second round tender and reduce his cap hit slightly this year.
3. We attempt to re-sign McPhee, Torrey, Forsett, and Daniels. I think we successfully re-sign Daniels and Forsett and let the rest test open market.
4. When then evaluate what McPhee and Torrey are getting on the open market and decide whether to make an offer or let them both go.
Fortunately, we can let both Smith and McPhee go in free agency because there are many talents at those positions in the draft and in free agency. This could their overall asking price as their value won't be the same. I'm not sure we'll retain either, but I don't think the Ravens are overly worried about what'll happen if that don't for the aforementioned reasons.
I'm hoping we also extend Yanda and reduce his cap hit this year. Yanda is a guy who could very well do that, so I do think it's possible although I admit I might be more hopeful than unbiased.
For a league minimum just for training camp to see what he may or may not provide wouldn't hurt us. He might be a better fit for our system.I don't think he brings any value to this team from a skill perspective, so I'd pass.
Trent Richardson will probably be cut. Wouldn't hurt to bring him in for the league minimum to see what he might be able to do even though his vision is terrible
Thanks. Haha jealous they get to use profanity.Sorry, didn't even bother since the site contains profanity and my post would likely get removed...
Chicitysports.com --- "TRESTMAN TO RAVENS AS OC" is the thread.
Agreed but our defense was great for the 1st seven weeks of course. We're just a solid CB and an Elams progression away from being great.Agreed, but Trestman isn't the HC here either, so even the OC has to sort of answer to the HC if the gameplan isn't being followed. If Trestman comes out the first few weeks and Joe's throwing 50 passes a game and we are losing, I have no doubt Harbaugh will force changes to the gameplan.
Keep in mind that falling behind early and by a lot in a game is generally a combination of 1. ineffective offensive production early and 2. poor defensive play (among other possible factors, like turnovers).
Our defense is far from great, but its a lot better than the Bears was, and pretty typically in the Harbaugh era, we aren't the kind of teaming falling behind by 14 points or more in the first half.
I think the volume of the rushing attack will still be adequate (though probably not as much as Kubiak's), but it still comes down to execution. Running the ball 20-25 times on a team that can't block and can't run (see 2013) doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. I have no reason to suspect that will be the case in 2015.
Link please? Not all forums are as easy to navigate through like the Ravens hahaRead some comments on the Bears forum saying teams notoriously catch onto Trestmans offenses after his 1st year.... Besides that, I was surprised to find a lot of positive comments. They're happy it doesn't effect their search for a OC, but it seemed like the consensus believe it was a good hire for us. High praises for Joe which was refreshing... High majority hate Cutler and think him & Trestman's offense just didn't mesh. They think Trestman should do better just focusing on offense and not running the team...Also the culture Harbs has created, he'll be under.
They ran the ball often in 2013. Injuries to the offensive line really hurt their run game. Last season Fortes carries per game dropped to 16 but he had over 100 receptions. Whether we run or pass a RB is a vital part to his offense.Judging Trestman as an OC on Chicago's last season is unfair. The entire team was abomination, seemed there wasn't lot of people in that locker room talking to each other. Then, there was Cutler, worse than previous year. This will be out of the picture in Baltimore, his responsibilities will be entirely different and his QB is the real deal.
There is a lot of talk of his unbalanced offense but the stats from 2013 don't agree:
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/chi/2013.htm
Obviously having receivers like Jeffrey and Marshall plays a part but they did run decent amount.
It's early to tell how will our O turn out but I definitely feel more comfortable with Trestman than Gase.
1000% sure95% sure we stick to ZBS with some man power concepts as we had this past year.
I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but Matt Miller tweeted a week ago that he doesn't expect Brandon Marshall to be back with the Bears next season. Things could get interesting ![]()
Screens are about timing. Proper coaching can help big time all Cam did was go deep every play. Forte only averaged 3.9 YPC in most part because of injuries to the offensive line, but he caught over 100 balls out of the backfield. Trestman was smart enough to know when to run the ball and when not too. Check down passes to RBs can substitute a run game. In 2013 Forte averaged 18.1 carries a game the second highest in his career to think he doesn't run the ball is nonsense. He was averaging 4.6 YPC.You realize how much we crap the bed with screens right? That isn't our strength and it was exactly a problem with Cam. Never used the middle of the field. Abandoned the run completely at times when he shouldn't. When run heavy when it wasn't working. History shows this guy is kind of a lot like Cam. Only without the vertical game so now we just won't score at all.
Read my comment to ravensdfanone year.
look at the body of work between the two. look at Cam cameron..thats what we are getting again
He doesn't run a vertical offense like Cam they're all quick short throws with screen passes. He ran the ball a lot with Forte. Forte caught the ball on check downs often too. People are just getting carried away. Remember he had the 2nd best scoring offense in 2013. Injuries to alshon, brandon Marshall and O line hurt them. Not to mention Culters dgaf attitude.History of Cam Cam type playcaller. Not impressed really. Feels like a big regression right now.
Lol Flacco didn't turn into Schaub when Kubiak was coaching what does that tell you?Kubiak has always created a top notch offense on both sides of the attack
the same cannot be said for trestman.
This is actually really bad. Flacco is and never will be good throwing the ball constantly..infact he might turn into cutler.
Still think we're going to need a true #1 receiver to run his passing attack. This bodes well for our young receivers: Aiken, Camp, Brown, and Gillmore.
West Coast offense with a fast-paced approach that features multiple formations, constant motion and a variety of personnel groupings.Does he run the same style of WCO that Kubiak does?
Trestman is hired odd choice but we'll see
in Other NFL Teams

Saw that coming. Our line didn't get much push against the Broncos but there were so many cut back lanes that forsett missed. Guys like Charles never do
