  1. I thought the same thing. The Steelers don't have an amazingly talented defense, but they were playing real bend-don't-break defense, and they were able to get turnovers. It was basically the Ravens' defense, but simply better.

They've given up just as many yards as we have but are so much better in the redzone. Plus they don't have Dean pees who really calls some confusing plays. On That Torrey smith Td we had 9 players in the box with only our corners in man to man coverage no one except the d linemen blitzed. On the 3rd and 12 pees called for a CB blitz and boldin just sat on the route. Daryl Smith isn't fast enough to run that far back into coverage. Idk what we're doing but it's not working

  2. The ravens biggest problem is they have no dynamic edge rushers. Dumervil seems to have lost a step and will be 33-34 next year. Pees gets a lot of heat but you can not play aggressive when you know your rushers won't get to the QB. Again nobody wants to blame Ozzie for failing to draft a dynamic sackmaster in over a decade!! Point out pees failures but make excuses after excuses for ozzie!! Then fire the coordinator for the players being so terrible!!

With that being said the free agent that should be #1 on the ravens shopping list is BRUCE IRVIN!! He will be not only a 15-20 sack producer but a BARGAIN!! Irvin is 6'3 258 lbs and can play traditional LB Duties like man, zone cover, read react. However he is at his best when RUSHING TBE QB!! He is as explosive an edge rushers as there is Is in the NFL. He has built power and an array of moves to mix with his AWESOME get off burst. HOWEVER he is a BARGAIN because he has not collected 16 sacks yet because he is being played as a traditional 4-3 OLB where he does not rush the QB very often. However his best position is no doubt a 3-4 edge rush olb where he could easily collect 12-16 sacks. He is as explosive as Khalil Mack. The ravens stout lineman would free him up to use his speed. I do not know why the seahawks did not blitz him more often in the Superbowl. Or line him up at DE. When he blitzed Vollmer could not handle him!! If Irvin played on a 3-4 team he could challenge for the NFL sack lead. He is more explosive and bigger than vic Beasley and Khalil Mack!! A smart gm will realize this dude needs to be charging after QBs far more often. And best of all he has not played 3-4 olb yet and collected 16 sacks. If he did he would cost over $10mil per year!! But because he is yet to play rush olb he could be signed for about 4 years $30mil. He is the type of player good gms pay for because his best production will be as a raven. Remember Boulware played traditional 4-3 LB and never had more than 7 sacks but collected 16 when he played Defensive End?? Irvin will be a fierce weapon on the ravens Defense!! A rush olb that can cover and read react when the coordinator wants to mix things up and confuse opposing offenses!! He should be the #1 offseason priority. The defensive backfield will look much better once they hurry QBs. He is what the defense needs to set the tone. Irvin,Mosley,Davis,Williams and Jernigan and another LB early in the draft( either mlb or another rush olb) and the front 7 could be dominant again. I like Sean Spence in free agency as well.

As for WRs Brian Quick was coming on before injury.

You're about as delusional as they get. Irvin isn't very good. He gets plenty of opportunities to rush the passer but just hasn't produced. You should see how creative the Seahawks get with there passing downs using Bennet, Avril, Clark, and Irvin without any d tackles and Irvin's usually the one that can't seem to get any pressure.

  3. I know we are big underdogs, but after Arizona struggled against freaking Landry Jones of all people, I think we actually have a chance of winning. Az cannot stop the run either; their LBs are garbage.

It might be a game that goes offense to offense.

It's not Landry Jones they struggled against its there receivers something we don't have. Plus none of our RBs come anywhere to Leveons level

  4. I will say, the one thing about Wright getting beat on those two touchdowns is that he just got flat out beat in man coverage. I don't know how much of that you can put on him being new. He just got beat by his man.

He's awful. I'm not sure how many SD games you've watched but Wright was the worst player on that team and it wasn't even close

  5. I think we need a front office shake up too. I'm not sure what's going on there. Questionable contracts given out to players and not enough consistency was out draft picks plus not spending a dime in FA. I'm not saying we pays guys Suh money but we can't expect to be competitive by signing literally no one. We have no depth
