  1. Drafting Tyron Smith over better talent that was obviously available. He didn't even play LT in his first season. What value does he have when better talent was available to pick not to mention Obviously not, since every team recently that's been in the playoffs or has even won the Super Bowl has had barely an average line with no star LTs to speak of. Stop getting all your information from ESPN because you have no idea what you're talking about. Those "sexy" players are game changers.
  2. So tell me in that draft do you take Tyron Smith or JJ Watt or even Robert Quinn? All I'm saying is that there isn't much of a difference between great and average LTs. I know a lot about football you're just misled by what you see every draft season on ESPN and NFL Network.
  3. And only made playoff once in the time he's been on the team...
  4. How has Tyron helped the Cowboys? They're consistently not making the playoffs. Like I said there is little difference between the best LT and an average LT.
  5. And they're picking ahead of us lol made playoffs once in the time they drafted Tyron
  6. So you would pass on Andrew Luck when he was coming out of college for all those picks? In hindsight I think people would but not at that time. Colts were in no way willing to give him up as the Redskins tried to move up.
  7. I see it like this. If Tunsil is the best tackle to come out in years why would the Titans risk not drafting him #1? People make it seem like he's the second coming of Orlando Pace. So I ask you if Tunsil is a sure fire hall of famer as everyone is making him out to be. Why would you trade back? In this sense it seems like a huge gamble considering all those pick they recieved aren't guaranteed to pan out. The difference from an average tackle to a great tackle isn't much. I think the Titans know that. So tell me how he's going to impact us? How much have recent tackles impacted their NFL teams? Titans took Lewan two years ago, Falcons took Jake Mathews, Chiefs took Fisher, Jaguars took Jockel, Eagles took Johnson, Chargers took Fluker, Rams took Robinson, Giants took Flowers. How many of these teams have even been contenders?
  8. Bold Prediction: Rams: QB idc Browns: QB idc Chargers:Tunsil(dumb move) Cowboys: Zeke Elliot Jaguars:Jack Ravens: Ramsey
  9. You won't be winning a lot if you don't have a QB.
  10. How is Tunsil going to help our football team this year?
  11. It makes no sense IMO, defensive players always have a bigger impact. I don't see Tunsil stepping in right away and making an impact. He's going to have some growing pains like all LTs do, the Titans seem like they felt the same way so they decided to trade down. Jack, Ramsey, or Buckner would all be better picks
  12. Even if they don't I think the Cowboys would take Wentz. Romos been hurt 4 years in a row now. He's 35 about to be 36 and I don't see the Cowboys picking this high again.
  13. Karl Joseph is not lasting until the 4th round
  14. If any team takes Fuller in the first 3 rounds they are big time reaching.
  15. I guess Joshua Garnett isn't an NFL guard then. Maybe Conklin isn't a tackle either since Buckner beat him couple of times inside. The only things that were a concern for Buckner in college was lack of quickness and his his lack of ability to take on double teams, which I won't be concerned with in our system.
  16. Seems like people are overthinking as the draft gets closer. Show me 1 play of Buckner getting pushed around and I'll give you a dozen plays where he completely dominated the offensive lineman. I see JJ Watt get pushed around on plays but that doesn't mean he's not the best defensive player in the NFL. Buckner has some very violent hands by no means is he perfect, but he's the best option for us at 6 if he falls.
  17. Give me Jourdan Lewis over any CB in this draft and next years
  18. Just hoping we have no chance to land Myles Garrett.
  19. If we don't take Buckner in the first, I'm taking Bullard all day in the second
  20. I think he is BPA. He's going to be more productive in the NFL than he was in college just because he won't be asked to play 100+ snaps a game. I just can't shake what Calvin Ridley and Amari Cooper did to VH3. I've seen Buckner manhandle Goshua Garnett and hold his own against Conklin all while playing in a scheme that doesn't show his strengths. Seeing how productive Armstead was last season I think Buckner is twice the player he is. I think Buckners an all pro starting day 1 with our scheme. I think he's our guy at 6 if another team doesn't take him
  21. Why VH3 over Buckner?
  22. A 3 year 13 million dollar contract with 4 million guaranteed isn't a big contract. If you want to play it that way Orr is still on the team, and Daryl isn't so they must be comfortable with what he provides to the team. You basically implied that we shouldn't take BPA because we've stuggled at CB and WR and now we're going to stuggle at ILB. All I'm trying to say is we're not going to address ILB in the draft unless that player is BPA. How many ILBs are you even comfortable drafting and stepping in right away?
  23. Well the Chargers are willing to trade down makes sense given the amount of needs they have
  24. Wright was a horific player in SD, but he's progressed, I'm still not comfortable with him as a starter as Wright had a 116 passer rating when targeting him. Your logic of adding another player makes no sense. We skip BPA for need, is that what you're suggesting? Of course Ozzie and company would sit on there hands if that player isn't BPA they could care less about position of need. Reaching in the draft is not what they'll be doing. I can see them adding a veteran that gets cut. As of now Orr is the starting ILB.
