We haven't met with Elliot or Buckner. And we haven't had a private meeting with Tunsil just talks at the combine. Seems weird to not meet with Tunsil, but have a private meeting with all the other top prospects like Ramsey, Bosa, Hargreaves, and Stanley. Doesn't seem like we're that interested with his injury history, off field issues (domestic violence and extra benefits) and with Robert Nkemdiche claiming that Tunsil was with him when he jumped out that window high on synthetic marijuana. I think every team will throw out the domestic violence history because he was supposedly defending his mother, even the extra benefits part will probably be thrown out the window, but injury concerns and what Nkemdiche has claimed may scare off teams including us. It's funny because it seems like he's just like Eugene Monroe especially after Monroe's recent stance on marijuana haha

We're not drafting Buckner, Elliot, or Tunsil

Makes you wonder why they haven't had a private workout with Tunsil if we can't get this pick wrong.

Tell me the last time Tunsils played a full season in college

Tunsil is more of the project player. He's not going to step in day 1 and be good. He's going to have his struggles first couple of seasons

Teryl Austin was the gators secondary coach while Elam was there I'm guessing he's the one that pounded the table for Elam. All I'm saying is that we have a top pick and to not workout someone privately while we've worked out everyone else except Elliot and Buckner is odd. I'm not sure if the front office likes the guys they didn't meet with or they already know about their character so film should speak for itself. Not meeting with Tunsil privately is a concern, still need to do all their homework before drafting someone that high

They haven't met with Tunsil privately either which is odd. I guess they aren't that interested in him either. They've only met with Stanley, Bosa, and Ramsey who are projected to be top 10 picks so it seems like 1 of those three will be our picks according to your logic. Also a lot of reports are surfacing that teams are swaying more towards Stanley than Tunsil. Could be a smokescreen but who knows.

lol this is getting ridiculous. Monroe was the LT for the majority of the 2013 season and he was one of the best LTs in the league that year. Joe was injured against the Lions after I think it was Nick Fairly that dove for his legs after the ball was already out of his hands. We still missed the playoffs with great LT play lol, but give me more reasons why we should draft Tunsil over a defensive player. Romos been hurt 4 years in a row with the best LT in football. So they're are a lot more factors than a LT being the sole reason for injury

That's nonsense. Bears o line in 2013 wasn't good. We just lacked receivers noticablely speed guys. Teams just played in the box against us and sat on routes because they knew we weren't going to go deep. We only averaged 3 points less per game when Flacco was healthy compared to 2014.

Go back to 2014 and JPP makes Tyron looking horrible. Wagner was horrible last season he was great in 2014 though

Go watch Dolphins vs the Cowboys this past season and all you will see is Tyron Smith getting run over by Oliver Vernon. Hurst isn't an average tackle by the way. All I'm saying is that we'll be wasting the #6 pick on Tunsil when there are game changers that will be available.

Who played LT on those winning teams? Just an average bunch not a single elite. The Seahawks line was terrible outside of Max Unger. Broncos were on there 3rd string LT. Bryant Mckinnie was picked up in FA for cheap. Will Beatty a second round pick and so was Chad Clifton for the packers. Nate Solder was a first round pick but he's barely been average you're just proving my point. Where are those high drafted LTs that have won Super Bowl?
