  1. Williams gave up 11 sacks his rookie year lol. The amount of talent playing LOLB and LE is just better. RTs are a lot more valuable now.
  2. disagree that there are great pass rushers on the left side now. I doubt Tunsil helps out year 1. Tackles struggle even if he's the most "polished" tackle to come out in recent memory.
  3. I think the Murray trade means they draft Tunsil. If they really want Ramsey they would help their Oline in FA. Andre Smith and Mitchell Schwartz were available but they didn't make a move. Maybe they still try to sign Smith
  4. Thank you. At least someone agrees with me. I'm starting to think RT is more valuable now
  5. If the niners were smart they would ask the Browns to swap first round picks for Kaepernick since so many teams are after him. The niners take Wentz 2nd overall
  6. I'm not going to search for it but I'm glad you changed your mind lol
  7. Ok last years draft Arik Armstead went to the 49ers with the 17th pick. He racked up 2 sacks, 6 hits, and 30 hurries last season. Buckner was already the better player had he come out in 2015. I think he even improved his game this past season leading the nation for interior pass rusher pressures.
  8. Really I've seen a lot of Calais Campbell comparisons for Buckner and Jared Allen for Bosa. How can you compare college Buckner with NFL JJ watt it makes no sense. JJs had better coaching, nutrition, and training. Compare college JJ to college Buckner
  9. He's not the athlete they are. And he's about 15 pounds heavier than both of them. Compare JJs college tape to Buckners you'll see the same thing. JJ was nowhere near the player he is now.
  10. Lol I'm sure I can find it
  11. The JJ we know now isn't the the same JJ we saw in college.
  12. You do realize Buckner played an insane amount of snap for a defensive lineman. Not to mention he played in a scheme that didn't show his strength. Often he lined up as a 4-3 DE. I don't think he's that in the NFL. He was far and away the best interior pass rusher in college football last season. He had 67 pressures last season highest of any interior pass rusher. He's going to be even more productive in the NFL where he actually gets a chance to rotate and stay fresh.
  13. I think they're trying to keep the heavy lifting off of Mariota with their trade of Demarco Murray and signing of center Ben Jones. I think they have to take Tunsil. He improves the run and pass, but I'm not expecting him to be all that great his 1st season
  14. I think he is. I think he can even play ILB and play OLB on 3rd downs. Of course he's going to need to put on about 10-15 pounds
  15. I like Spriggs at guard honestly. He reminds me of a younger Evan Mathis. I think we take Spriggs in the second and have him play LG his rookie season. If Monroe gets hurt he can slide out to LT.
  16. Tunsil and Stanley are both going to play pretty badly their rookie seasons as history has shown. It's not a quick fix IMO.
  17. Not so much after the osemele signing. Plus they're expected to go after Malik Jackson. They're still going to have to pay Gabe Jackson. On top of that they have no LT. I'm not sure it would be a smart idea to have Osemele play there.
  18. So you'd reach for someone like Stanley? Tunsil is obviously not going to be there. Talent wise I don't even think they're close, Tunsil is the much better player. BPA would be the best move to make. The Broncos just won the Super Bowl with their 3rd string LT. Panthers had Michael Oher as their LT. Patriots has to move their RT to LT. Cardinals were the only playoff team with a decent LT. Steelers had a backup LT. Bengals had Whitworth the best of the bunch but lose ever year. I'm just saying its an overvalued position nowadays as teams best pass rushers usually play LE or LOLB which forces them to line up against RTs.
  19. They only have a 2 year window. Market value for Carr and Mack is going to be huge if they keep producing. They're going to have to pay them big money as the cap keeps increasing.
  20. Ryan Jenson actually wasn't that bad. He dominated as a run blocker.
  21. Ozzie doesn't reach and Stanley would be a pretty big reach at 6 when there's better talent on the board
  22. The way I see it is that there are starting caliber LTs coming out every year. Players like Ramsey? Not so often. Like I said before Cowboys lost their QB for the season, are you going to blame that on their O-Lineman as well? It's was just bad place bad time
  23. I see it like this 1. Ramsey 2. Buckner 3. Tunsil 4. Jack 5. Bosa 6. Anyone but Stanley
  24. How is drafting Stanley going to help us? Is he going to play guard his rookie season? Or do we cut Monroe and draft another player to play guard? I'm not sure you'd want KO at LT he was barely average there. He's going to be overpaid at guard and he's only played 1 season healthy. I think we have better options for a guard replacement later in the draft. I think Spriggs has the ability to be a very good guard.
  25. Maybe but he's a better fit in a power scheme. I think he'd struggle moving in a zone scheme like ours. Just not very athletic
