  1. "Without it`s host of offensive weapons and a defense without two of it`s top three corners." LMAO at this!

It's Cleveland and we are the RAVENS we shouldn't be losing to them with a 20M a year QB. We didn't score on the last drive of regulation to win the game. Brady and Manning has done it for years...win without dominant defense. Rogers won for years without having a 100 yard rusher. The defense played horrible pass defense, bu the offense had a chance to seal the deal.

  2. Pees has to go. I don't get how he can play soft coverages all game even after McCown and the Brown's no name TE continue to exploit them

Prevent defenses only prevents you from winning! Also didn't McCown beat us in 2013 with Chicago? So there is a history playing against him...SMH

  3. We lost the game by not scoring on the last drive in regulation. The play calls were horrible on that drive when we got to the end zone and on the two point conversion on the previous TD drive. The offense rhythm was better today, but I'm still not sold on Trestman. Seems as if we can't keep our good O-Coordinators. Joe catches lightening in a bottle in 2012 playoffs and Caldwell gets the Lions job, last year Joe has career numbers and Forsett rushes for 1000 yards and Kubiak gets the Denver job. Is there a young up and coming OC we can hire that needs a few good years before he is considered a HC candidate? At least if you hire from within with a DC that scheme stays very similar, but our OC situation is a revolving door.

  4. Teams like the Browns and Bengals have been stockpiling draft picks for years. Cincy has began to put it all together. The Browns are a good Head Coach and QB away from being (possibly) as good sometime soon. I'm glad this is a home game. We need this one. Don't let it slip away, guys!!!

The jury is still out on the Bengals. When is the last time they won a playoff game?

  5. Over half of the league's quarterbacks are getting paid over 15 million now. Flacco is not overpaid and it is not his fault the offense is not top 5 in the league. Quarterback isn't the only player on the offensive side of the ball. If the offensive line doesn't hold he has no time to throw. If receivers don't get separation it becomes incomplete. If he knew he could throw it he would he is being paid 20 million a year to play the game, after the last interception was returned 30+ yards another easily could have been taken to the house.

    Blah Blah Blah....

  6. All turnovers are a mistake. But at some point you have to realize it isn't the quarterback's fault for everything on the offense. The interception was a result of the scheme Pittsburgh ran and they disguised it well. The fumble was Flacco for not tucking it away and 9/10 times that fumble would not have been recovered, that play by Cockrell was just phenomenal instinct and a great play. To say Flacco is our weakness is way off, for him to stay poised in the pocket and help us move the ball and to move the chains with his top receiver and top tight end out of the game is amazing. Trestman called a great game all around. Flacco is the strong part of our offense, he is moving the chains with no huge threat weapon like most teams do and he helped win the game without Steve Smith on the field against a very talented Steelers team. Also what was he supposed to do on 4th down and no one is open? After the first interception was returned how many yards, why risk a pick six?

When you are making 20M a year it is your fault when offense is mediocre and I'm sorry when the game is on the line and you are losing with less than 3 minutes left you don't take a sack on 4th down. The way the NFL is these days anything can happen...defensive holding, pass interference, a pass completion...you don't take the sack on 4th down when you are losing and it could possibly be the last time you have the ball for the game.

  7. I was with you until you said he was the "best" safety in football. I guess you forgot he had a P.I. on 3rd down that put the Raiders in perfect scoring position or last week when he didn't cover his zone and gave up a pass on 3rd and 15? Don't overreact on one game were he made a couple of good plays and forget about other games when he didn't  :)

Thanks for the NEG. Sorry I didn't agree with you that Will Hill isn't the best safety in the NFL.

  8. You're kidding right? The Ravens had no confidence to throw the ball because Pittsburgh always blitzed the side closest to the hash mark and it was getting passed the offensive line every time. Flacco had no time to throw most of the time. Flacco was solid the entire game besides the one interception.

I guess the one fumble wasn't a mistake? Or taking a sack on 4th down when you are down by 3 with less than 3 minutes left in the game wasn't a mistake also?

  9. I'm not lol. Our QB situation is very questionable going forward. There were so many ways in the 4th quarter that it was proven that the offensive staff does not have confidence in Flacco. We had enough time before regulation to take a shot at the endzone to win the game and we opted to run the ball and depend on our "clutch" kicker to send the game in overtime even though we have a $20M/year QB. Flacco is a long way from the guy who checked out of a run play on 3rd and 1 to throw a pass to Boldin in the Super Bowl. Only a QB with sky high confidence would do that. He is a QB with shaky confidence these days.

I expected some "NEGS", but if you think he is earning his $20M so far this year you are in denial. The more negs I get only proves my point :)

  10. I love Will Hill. Such a steal for what we are paying him. May be the best safety in football.

  11. If this game was against anyone else, I would dwell on all the things we still did bad. But since the win was over the Stealers, I'm gonna shut up and just enjoy it.

  12. I love our new corner davis, he should be our new 3rd and put arrington at 4th corner.

Be careful for what you ask for. I remember I was saying the same thing about #38 Melvin towards the end of the year last year. He hasn't been the same since he gave up the gaming winning TD to the Patriots in the Super Bowl. BUT Davis did make a couple of nice plays and I'm still asking the question "Where did he come from all of a sudden?".

  13. I like your attitude buddy. I'm trying as hard as I can to remain positive but this team is making it quite difficult. Just gotta take it one game at a time. All we need to worry about is taking care if cinci. Chances are growing slim but if anybody can climb back in it it's us.

I rather be 2-0. We have lost people also. Suggs' season ending injury, Monroe with concussion, and you might as well say that Webb is "lost" on the field with his performances the last two games. So no I rather be 2-0 and not 0-2.

  14. No it doesn't sound crazy at all....

Brown looked prity good with the limited snaps he got in the 4th quarter. His tackling was good and also showed good instincts diagnosing plays. Hes super fast and can run with any TE or RB on passing plays. I don't know why he's fallen so far down the depth chart.

I hope this is a blessing in disguyse where the Ravens can sign him for cheap on a long term contract. But as things stand he's never gonna stay in Baltimore coz he's never gonna get a chance. I literally watched the forth quarter 3 times. One was just to see Brown. I was impressed and by the end of it I was asking myself..... What am I missing here?

I must be missing something here? Who should he be starting over? Daryll? Mosley?

  15. Lebron didn't win his first year with Miami either. So I expect next year with a healthy team the Cavs will have a good shot at making it to the Finals. If you have at least one honest bone in your body there's no way you can't say he isn't the best basketball player in the world. The issue with guys like him and Jordan is they can be named MVP basically every year and how could you argue when they are the best in the game? They are/were always judged on their previous seasons on if they should earned MVP. Given it to other players from time to time gives the media something new to discuss.
