So we all know that bashing and defending Joe is a favorite past time around here and the infinite number of threads proves that out. So, in the spirit of giving us equal opportunity - pick the player you are just so mad at lately that you can hardly look at him! I will start......JIMMY SMITH. If anyone drives me more crazy that this highly paid and touted defender I can't think of them. He is so terribly inconsistent I can hardly stand to see the number 22 and not curse. Yesterday he had a ball thrown DIRECTLY TO HIM and he drops it. It leads to points and gets us behind. At times he makes a play - but he is far from the shut down corner many claim him to be. WHO IS ON YOUR LIST?????

Frazier is a huge pick up...a player with success and years of coaching including being a HC....great move, Ravens!

Hate to lose him, but part of the Ravens tradition is to not stand in the way of a coach taking a promotion elsewhere. Pagano is a good man and I wish he and Monachino success in Indy...just not when we play them!

And the awful calls always seem to be at a time like that where it impacts momentum so much...bad calls are frustrating...bad calls that change the outcome of a game like we have had 3 TIMES this year are infuriating!

I have such mixed emotions about Dennis coming back. As a fan, I want to see him back out there and we sure could use him. But I for sure don't want to see him get injured in a way that would negatively impact him for the rest of his life...he knows himself and his body best, so hope he makes the best decision for him and his family.

The refs are soooooo bad. We are not a great team this year - but we have been totally screwed on several occasions that have cost us wins....so sick of the NFL and the refs!

This thread is just inane....to say Joe is not team oriented is ridiculous. He is totally team focused and had always represented himself, the team and our city well. There are SO MANY other issues on this team to be concerned with - Flacco is not one of them. Is he Brady or Rodgers??? NOPE...but they are the absolute best. He is the next tier and we are lucky to have such a stable, level headed QB. Nuff Said.

I do not think they we playing unmotivated football last night. I saw effort all night. We simply lack the quality players that other teams have. Everytime we complete a pass it is contended with no separation, while our opponents receivers seem to have aat least 5 yards of buffer on each reception. Jimmy Smith is not good - perhaps his foot is just not better yet. Webby is done - stick a fork in him. I think Harbs does a fantastic job and this year he is trying to use subpar NFL players against a very difficult schedule. We have been on the wrong end of some very bad officiating at key times in games as well. Just a tough year and a TON of work to do in the off-season. Harbs it totally safe.

100% AGREE! I was hoping he would step up, but he is just plain awful.....HE GONE!

We have been screwed many times this year by the Zebras, but last night was just an abomination. If the NFL does not get some quality control in the referees, the league is doomed. SO MANY games (not just Ravens) are being decided by bad calls this year - it makes it hard to watch anymore.

Not sure how anyone schedules a wedding on a Sunday right at kcik-off! But that is where I will be while the DVR does it's job! Ravens win 30-27.

I have yet to give up....but I will say last week to watch us blow a 21-9 lead at the same time the Bengals were mounting a comeback down by 17 to the Seahawks....and then the Steelers win the next night on the last play of the game... All that combined just sort of tells me this is not our year. BUT hope remains and we just need to win this week to start building something that resembles momentum! GO RAVENS!

Happy to see what Charles James can do on the squad and happy for Daniel Brown to get back on the PS....would love to see him get the chance to move up. He can't do any worse that Marlon has this year...that dude has slippery hands!

Get him healthy and bring him back...but for now promote Charles James off the PS and let's see what he and his magic socks can do!

Offense gave the D the lead on MULTIPLE times in the 4th Quarter and like a broken record the D simply allows an average team to march down the field...D lost the game. Period. End of Discussion.

One of the many things I appreciate about Joe is his absolute honesty. In a world where so many athletes are jerks and never take personal accountability, Joe stands up and owns his mistakes. He ain't perfect....and either are any of us. But I am proud of our QB.

I am starting to just love Brandon Williams on the field and off! The video of him working at the Dunkin Donuts followed by him in a lip sync battle singing Big and Rich's "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy" propels him to the top of my must have jersey list. I would also like a Tucker and a Mosley.

I like us to be sitting at 3-4 after 7 games and right in the mix. A home win over the Brownies and a road victory in SF get us to 3-3. I think Monday night at Arizona is a tough game that we probably lose...but you never know. The point is that as the original poster said, we have a very favorable schedule ahead of us and will be getting healthy along the way (fingers crossed)....I am with you, OP - we will make the playoffs!

I understand when people whine about Joe making the money and not being as good as we expect at times.....but Jimmy Smith just made BANK too and he is simply horrendous out there.....
