  1. Our likelihood of being able to score if Kyle went down at the 1 is pretty good, our likelihood of stopping Ben on a drive under two minutes is right around 0%, and it played out exactly like we've come to expect, with almost zero resistance to their last minute drive. "Always take the points" sounds good, but our record of stopping last-minute drives against anyone but the lowliest of quarterbacks is a record of almost 100% failure, for a very long time, and even old 2nd and 3rd stringers like Charlie Batch have beat us like that in the past. You aren't guaranteed to score if Kyle goes down at the 1, but you are practically guaranteed to lose if you leave Ben time on the clock with a less than 7 point lead. I'd say there's an 80% chance of still scoring if Kyle goes down, and there was about a 1% chance of stopping Ben with the way the fourth quarter was going, combined with our longstanding record of ineptitude in those situations.
  2. Nice job, Ravens. Yes, a high draft pick will be nice, but that goes out the window when you're playing the Steelers. As bad as this year has been, sweeping the Steelers is a pretty sweet feather to put under your cap. We can use this one for some future smack talking with Steelers' fans. In a year where we were down, broken, and defeated, we still managed to drop 2 wins on them.
  3. Kendrick Lewis and Courtney's penalties are two of the dumbest in Ravens' history.
  4. Now THERE'S an accurate pass to Kyle!
  5. They taketh away, and Chris Givens!!! Or something!
  6. Awwww yisss. That was huge by #90 to arrest all the momentum they were building up.
  7. Not exactly a high football iq play by Lewis. For the third time today, we would've had a pick if the guy just looked for the ball. Instead, Lewis just nails 84 seconds before the ball even got there.
  8. Butler DESTROYED Bud Dupree coming out of that route.
  9. I hear ya, but this is not the time to talk about hockey.
  10. Niiiiice, good time to use that big frame of Matthews.
  11. Not just the 3rd and long conversion, but off an audible from the new guy, very impressive.
  12. Niiiiice, Dan Brown, it was behind him, he still got it and yanked it away from the defender. I love it.
  13. Nice block by Daniel Brown as well.
  14. Woooooo Buck Allen, nice moves!
  15. Really liking Jeremy Butler, nice stiff arm on Grimes there.
  16. Uh, Webb, it's not time for a wrap up tackle, it's time to zero in on the ball and try to punch it out on the way down, since you can't jump with Parker.
  17. Started out with Webb and Brandon Williams stuffing some runs, they punted. Our offense had two incompletions to Givens, well covered by Grimes. They got it back, had some good runs where Zack Orr and then Kendrick Lewis lost contain, but we stopped them at midfield. We got first downs to Gilmore and Aiken, hit a 50+ yard bomb to Daniel Brown for a TD, but they called it back on a phantom penalty, missed a facemask on the next play, and we couldn't get a first down, so here we are.
  18. Oh refs, you mangy sons of....
  19. Well, this "Schaub to Givens" connection isn't quite at Montana-Rice levels yet...
  20. Nice stuffs by Webb and B. Will, good start.
  21. You can see Aaron Donald come flying in, Jensen kind of routes him out of the play, but he clips the back of Hurst, who falls backward into the back of Joe's knee. Just bum luck.
